Chapter 7 Camouflage

"Who is he, what family is he from, how powerful is he" The proud man's thoughts kept racing as he stared at Felix who was being attended to by the manager himself, the manager who could wipe out his entire family.

"Thank you sir, is that all?" The manager asked with a smile but secretly he was surprised, he also had a storage ring but his was obtained through hard means and he was also surprised by the calmness displayed by Felix when he spoke to him, he was used to people treating him with fear and respect but this man in front of him showed no fear.

"Actually no, I would like to buy a high levelled bow" Felix said calmly with a smile as he received all the daggers which had been carefully packaged then placed them in his storage ring.

"Okay sir, right this way" The manager said with a smile as he led Felix up the stairs to the second floor.

"Let's go, we have nothing to do here" The proud man said as he walked out of the shop without waiting for the beautiful woman or his guard.

"What about my dagger" The beautiful woman said with dissatisfaction as she raced after the proud man who behaved like he didn't hear her, he was more worried about saving his own skin.

As soon as he entered the weapons shop on the second floor, he was overwhelmed by the weapons here, there were bows, swords, whips, gauntlets, daggers and other weapons which he had never seen before.

"Wow, all this was collected by you?" Felix asked in surprise as he examined all the weapons with wonder.

"No, it was gotten by the owner of the shop" The manager said as he shook his head.

"Oh, and who might that be?" Felix asked as he picked up a dagger which had a various runes on it.

"He is the patriarch of the Alexander family in the city, I work for him" The manager and as he did, he saw Felix pause for a minute then go back to normal.

"This dagger is made from the claws of a savage blazing cheeter right?" Felix asked the manager after observing the dagger.

"Yes, I see that you like daggers, this is a special one that I myself made from the fangs of a Dark Scaled two headed cobra, it delivers a lethal dose of poison that paralyses and then kills any beast or human below the D rank even if it's a small cut, it costs 1000 F rank beast cores, I am not sure you can afford it" The manager explained with a smile as he brought out a pitch black dagger which radiated a dark light.

"I will take it, do you have any other daggers of the same rank and a bow?" Felix said with a grin as he waved his hand and a bag containing 1000 F rank beast cores appeared which he handed to the manager while also collecting the dagger.

"It seems like I underestimated you" The manager said with a smile as he took out a bow, arrows and two daggers.

"Yeah people tend to do that and it always doesn't end well for them" Felix said with a smile that made the manager wonder if he was joking or not as he took out 4000 F rank beast cores.

"This bow is made from the bones of a E rank Lightening snake king and the arrows are made from the bones of a E+ rank Lightening snake, they cost 1500 F rank beast cores, this dagger is made from the claws of a E+ rank two horned one eyed Zed eagle, it costs 1200 F rank beast cores and this last dagger is one of my best creations, it is made from the fang of a E+ rank of a purple winged vampire bat, it draws blood from anyone it cuts which strengthens it, it costs 1200 F rank beast cores but because you are making such a large purchase, I will give you a discount, the total cost is 2700 F rank beast cores" The manager said with a grin as he thought of the amount of money he had made.

"Thanks for the discount, here's the money" Felix said happily as he gave the manager the money after deducting the rest and then received the weapons.

"It was nice doing business with you, if you need any more high grade weapons in the slums, you can visit me for a good discount, this is a Jade slip that will get you a VIP seat at an auction house in the slums and also any black market auctions, there is also one that will be happening 1 month from now at the Black Hawk auction house, I hope to see you there" The manager said with a smile as he handed Felix a jade slip.

"Thanks, if I need any quality weapons, I will make sure I come here" Felix said as he collected the slip and then left the second floor.

As he reached the last floor, he noticed that the people in the shop had all turned towards him with curious and fearful looks, he disregarded all of them and left the shop.

Immediately he left the shop, he felt a strong killing intent coming from the shop opposite him so he glanced at it and was surprised to see the proud man's guard staring at him with killing intent which he didn't even try to conceal.

"What a fool, it's good actually, now I can test my new daggers" Felix said to himself with a smile as he walked away like he didn't notice the guard who followed him from a safe distance.

As he walked, he stole careful glances at the guard who continued following him so he made a plan and walked into an alley.

"You can run but you can't hide" The guard said to himself as he walked into the alley because he knew that Felix was trying to throw him off.

"What the..., arrg" The guard walked into the alley but found that Felix had disappeared then suddenly he felt something sharp stab him from behind so he immediately moved to the side and drew his sword.

"Now, I don't know who you are and how I have offended you but I don't want to kill you so if you back down now, I may spare your life" Felix said as he placed the poison dagger in his storage ring and took out the blood absorbing dagger.

"Hahaha, do you really think that you can kill me, you only managed to stab me because I was careless" The guard said coldly as he raised his sword to attack Felix but suddenly he felt his body become weak and his sword fell from his hand.

"That is the poison of a Dark scaled two headed cobra, I am sure you know how lethal it's poison, no one fucks with me and gets away with it and when I am done with you, I will hunt down your master and his whole family" Felix said ruthlessly as he walked towards the guard who screamed in pain, he never forgave those who fucked with him.

After some minutes, the guard's body stopped moving and Felix took away all the valuable things on the body and the sword then placed them together with the body in his dimension space which was starting to fill up.

"Are you done watching, you better show yourself unless you want to end up like him" Felix said coldly as he glanced at a wall.

"It seems like Dan was right, you have powerful senses, just what I need but you also need to tell me how you disappeared like that, it was amazing" Connor said with a grin as he appeared with a guard whose hand was on his shoulder.

"You know, I am really starting to get tired of you" Felix said coldly as he walked towards Connor whose guard wanted to stop Felix but was stopped by Connor.

"How do you find his ability, convienent right, it's a camoflague skill" Connor said with a smile to Felix as he pointed to his guard.

"Yeah its real handy, what do you want" Felix said with a smile as he thought of the uses of his new skill.

"Okay straight to the point, I see that you are a straightforward person, I would be making a trip to the F rank beast forest to hunt and also gain experience and I want you to accompany me" Connor said with a wide smile as he explained his mission.
