Ashley went into a daze as if reminiscing the moment it happened.

She sighed then look up at me " My boyfriend sold me "...

I almost shocked at my saliva

" What?" She waved it off as if it doesn't bother her

" What's done is done. He invited me to his home for the first time and like the stupid girlfriend I was, I was so excited that I'll finally know where he leaves. He cooked for me and everything went smoothly not until I woke up the next day only to see myself in a different place where I was told that I was sold by him"

" This i She snorted " The worst is I pity any girl that will fall into his trap again. I'm sure I'm not the first and also not the last"

I held her hand, proud to see how well she took everything. I never knew she was this strong " I'm sorry you went through this"

Ashley chuckled " why are you saying it as if I was the only one that got kidnapped. Don't forget we both got kidnapped" Ashley pointed out I giggled " You're insufferable"

" I know right"

" We've Arrived "was announced

We didn't realize the car had made a stop and behold we truly have arrived. This wasn't the image I pictured in my head. I thought the North pack will be like a dungeon or even something more worst than that but here I'm seeing something different, something extraordinary, something beautiful.

" Wow!" Ashley said in awe and I couldn't agree less. We got down from the car still with our mouths wide open. Right in front of us is like an empire beautifully designed with nature. It feels so welcoming and nothing like what I thought. " I can't believe what I'm seeing right now " Ashley nodded

" Me either" The pack members were looking at us strangely and I understand. It's always strange to see a full new packs member unannounced. The beta came to stand in front of us and smiled wildly. The guy can be confusing at times. He looks murderous back at the West pack and knows he was acting friendly. I'm beginning to feel as if is just their aim to make us feel welcome and relaxed before they can finally show us their true colors. I need to act smart and don't get carried away.

" By the way ladies and gentlemen, Welcome to the North pack. This will be your new home until you are told otherwise" We all bowed down in respect, already feeling the spark generating in us. The spark signifies loyalty to the pack. It always happens when wolves are welcomed into a new pack to be a member of the pack. " You may rise. The Alpha is out of town for now but I assure you that he'll be back in few hours for now. Every one of you will be allocated a room with the worker her. Ensure you know that you're here to work and not to enjoy yourselves?"

" Yes," We chorused.

" Good. Pack your belonging and follow the guards, they will direct you to the maid section." We all picked up our bags and began to follow the waiting guards.

Ashley held my hands " I can't believe we'll be staying here" she said excitedly.

I look at her in wonderment" aren't you the one scared the other time? So what changed?" She shrugged" This place is giving me the good vibe of a thing that's all

" I shook my head at her " Just be careful, it might be one of their stricks to make us trust them so they can get information from us" I warned.

" I don't think so, Melissa. Just stop thinking too much about it

" How can I stop thinking too much about it when I know that any slight mistake I make, Alpha Ronald won't hesitate to kill my family. I wanted to tell her this but kept mute.

" Don't say I didn't warn you" I sang out. We finally came to a stop in front of a building. It looks simple and okay. Even better than the one at the West Pack.

" I'm loving this place already. Look at the maid's section for goodness sake! It's nothing like the one at our pack" Ashley whispered in my ears.

I rolled my eye " Behave Ashley" She pouted then rolled her eyes at me

" live for once woman" The guard showed us the ladies in our department and the guys were also shown their department. Ashley dragged me in haste to be inside the house. I wanted to hold back my hand but didn't want to look too bitter so I allowed her to drag me. We trailed behind others. I wasn't surprised to see some of the maids inside already waiting to see the new additions.

Some glared at us, which is normal. Not all pack members love to see werewolves from another pack into their packs. The fear of the new member causing trouble will always be there. If I was in their shoes, I'll also be rude really.

" Welcome to the North pack. I am granny Joanna but you can feel free to call me to miss Joan, I'm the head maid of the palace." A woman from nowhere introduces herself.

We were looking for rooms that we forgot to even ask for the senior maid. Every pack has a senior maid.

" Thank Granny Joanna" We chorused.

" Great. I'll assign a room for every one of you and please feel at home. We don't bite so therefore whatever rumor you might have heard outside should be erased from your minds. Try this place first before you can finally judge" I snorted knowing fully well that it's all a lie. I know she is only trying to fool us and I'm not going to fall for that. I'm not stupid to fall for that. I end my thoughts and decided to listen to what she would say next and I was perplexed when I saw her eyes on me. Could she have heard what I said? I tried asking myself. My hands went to the necklace around my neck, the same one alpha Ronald gave me to help me execute my plans. I relaxed when she set her eyes at another group. I won't be happy if I'm been suspected on my first day here.
