Chapter 1 To be different

(Melrose POV)

I have always wondered why I was different, I have a normal parents anyone could have, a perfect home and a stable life, although I hardly saw my parents working, each time I asked them, they will tell me that they were models during their twenties and they are now enjoying all their accumulated income which is so big as they said.

At school I practically had no friends, guys distanced form me saying that if they were to walk with me, I will steal the attention of their lovers to me and they will end up single, girls also isolated from me saying that I might turn their boyfriends gay because of how I look.

Those comments made me frustrated, if any new student comes to our school and started hanging out with me, the person will be complimenting my looks continuously, few days later, either they end up staying away from me because I rejected their flirtings or they will suddenly distance themselves, if I ask them why they will nervously say that they where threatened to stay away from me or suffer bullying for the rest of their schooling whilst looking around as if they are being hunted by wild animals.

Most of the jocks at school sneak peaks at me each time I pass but dared not approach me for the fear of losing their girlfriends.

I started to gym five days a week and gained some muscle but still yet, they isolated from me even more saying that now they are sure of me stealing their boyfriends.

They always give me different looks at school when I walked in, the jocks gave me lustful looks, the other boys gave we admired but feared looks, while some girls gave me sex craving looks, though my friends show disgust at me.

All in all I never minded though as I always walk majestically, standing straight with my six foot length with my chin held high as I walked.

I have a very long wavy white-gray hair that past my shoulders to my back, the end length of the hair cut equal like I was just coming out from a hair salon, I also have a very deep gray eyes, just like my white-gray hair with a sharp jawline which a lot of boys envy.

I also tried to cut my hair short out of frustration that I may finally have some friends but my parents threatened me that if I cut it they will stop paying for any of the things that I needed and also froze my account, they said it with nervous looks which was strange but I waved it off and conceded.

I even browsed online on how to make friends but it still didn't help which made me realize that my own case is not lack of friends but run-away friends.

Having tried every once of thing, I decided to give up and just go with the flow, since they wanted nothing to do with me, I also have nothing to do with them either.

In another case, each time I woke up in the middle of the night to get some water, I would see my hair and my whole body flowing golden light, I tried talking to my parents but they always wave it out.

"Horny, it's imagined image, you just woke up so, your mind tried to trick you but it's fine, it do happen to all of us." She would always say but I know myself, I know what I saw, even though I have stopped questioning them but still, I know what I saw.

Every morning that I woke up, my long hair will remain silky like it is always been combed and straightened and there will be no sign of morning sleep in my face as if I was awake in the middle of the day, before I wasn't noticing this things but recently I think that it became obvious for me not to notice.

I never talked to my parents about it though because they will think that I am strange like how our parents normally freaks out nowadays when something that haven't happened before end up happening to their child.

I have also noticed that I am truly different one afternoon when I was walking to the school bathroom and saw four girls smirking and approaching me, that instant I wished that they will just turn around and walk away and immediately the four of them stopped looking confused at themselves whilst turning around and walking away still confused.

I was also stunned and wipe my eyes to make sure that I wasn't dreaming, but I later waved it off as a coincidence.

"Maybe, just maybe, they has something more important to do at the moment." I tried convincing myself but somehow deep inside me, something is telling me that I was the one who did it.

I am currently in my high school last semester and final year, I will be turning 18 tomorrow and hopefully when I finish the remaining weeks of being here, university won't be the same, I hope so because they are more matured than ordinary horny teens.

I parked my car in the school parking lot and headed to the school entrance, like usual, I walked like nothing really bordered me as I made my way inside.

"Here he comes, so stunning, it a pity that no one wants to approach him." A student said as I made my way to my locker opening it and dropped my bag inside whilst taking the book for the first lesson.

"No one?, and why are you still here, you should be going to him already. " The other student scoffed at his friend dumbness.

"I can't help saying it, I wonder why those rich kids are so mean to him, he practically did nothing to them." The student said again.

"I hope you never want to find out because they will practically do the something to you if you don't want to study the last remaining weeks in this school before leaving in peace." His friend said again as they left.

I sighed as I locked my locker and left for my first class, entering the class, I still recieved my now use to normal different kind of gazes, at first, I thought it was my out of fashion sense which I went home that day and started learning the best fashion sense which now sticks with me because I can't seem to wear what is less attractive and feel comfortable, I think it was one of the things that made them jealous or would I say distance more, but now I figured that it wasn't my fashion sense that caused the glances but me in particular.
