Chapter 4 A Strange Meeting

Once Randall responded in the affirmative, he got into a Rolls-Royce. The car drove at a high speed.

It went through a golden gate a few minutes after they arrived at the most expensive area in the city.

On the large expanse of land stood a three-story building that was flanked by a gym, a swimming pool, and a relaxation center.

The tall building was decorated according to the eighteenth-century baroque style.

Randall had barely taken in its beauty when his eyes fell on the hospital's name-Hodur Royal Infirmary.

His head suddenly became woozy.

This hospital was the best in Sross.

Why was he brought here?

Was he here to meet...?

As Randall was lost in thought, Amari led him through the security check and they took the elevator to the top floor of the hospital.

After they walked down the corridor, Amari suddenly stopped in front of a door and said, "Go in now. He's waiting for you inside. He wants to talk to you privately."

Randall had his heart in his mouth at this moment. He turned the doorknob and walked in slowly. The strong smell of books and drugs hit his nose.

A grey-haired man was standing in front of the bookshelf with his back to Randall.

"Welcome, Randall. Wealth, power, dignity, and a good name can be all yours as long as you do my bidding." The old man turned around and flashed a smile. "I could also help you get revenge on Perry. What do you say to that?"

Although Randall had suspected that this was the person he was brought to see, he was still extremely excited when he saw the old man's face.

This old man was none other than Randall's role model; the legendary doctor, Stewart Turner!

Stewart was revered in the medical world. He was considered the best of the best.

More so, he was the wealthiest man in Sross.

He was way out of Randall's league.

But why did such a big shot set up a meeting with him?

Randall couldn't wrap his head around what was happening. However, he took a deep breath and replied, "Okay, I will do whatever you ask of me!"

It was a known fact that Stewart could crush anyone who went against him with just a snap of his fingers.

For this reason, Randall had no choice but to agree to do his bidding. He also knew that this was the only way he could take revenge on Perry.

"Right now, you are unable to complete what I want you to do. You still need to learn and train!"

Stewart's statement stunned Randall. He blurted out, "What exactly do you want me from me?"

"Slow down, Randall. Let's talk about you first. Every doctor needs a pair of stable hands."

What was Stewart driving at?

Before Randall could figure it out, Stewart picked up a bronze bell and shook it gently.

Ding!

A group of doctors trooped into the study a few seconds later.

Two of them pressed Randall onto a stretcher and gave him an injection in his neck.

"Sleep well, Randall. The nightmare will be over by the time you wake up. A whole new world is waiting for you. You will have the life you have never dreamed of."

Randall suffered from dizzy spells all of a sudden. With his blurry vision, he saw Stewart walking towards him. An unrealistic idea suddenly popped up in his mind.

Did Stewart want to operate on his disabled right hand?
