Chapter 5

"I don't want my dad to see you"came his reply as they walked away from the house.

"And where would we be staying?"she asked curiously as he let go off her hand,turning to her direction,"My work place of course,where else?"He replied with a question.

"I was just asking!"she murmured biting her lower lips. "I though you could read my thought?,how come you don't know where we're going??"He asked curiously.

"Well......,I don't know,ever since I entered your house I couldn't get to you!"she replied sincerely.

"Really?"

"Yeah!"

"Haha,okay!"he chuckled as they both walked to his known destination.

"Why don't you want your dad to see me??,is there a problem?"she couldn't help but ask as her mind flashed back with the way his sisters and mother were looking at her.

"He'll kill you!"came his reply as her eyes widened in shock.

"What?"

"You'll know when he times comes!"he cut her off as they came to a restaurant.

"Is this where you work?"she asked.

"Yeah any probs?"

"No just asking!"she grinned from ear to ear as she saw many people (humans).

"Don't even think about it!!"he warned sternly.

"What??"she asked turning to him.

"Your teeth are out,you can't even control yourself!"he said to her as sheer cheek flushed red in embarrassment.

She closed her eyes and exhaled,soon she was back to her human form.

"No biting,don't cause nuisance!"He warned sternly.

"Yeah sure!"she saluted grinning as they both walked inside.

He walked straight to the kitchen as many chef were busy doing one thing or the other.

"Good evening Godfrey!"he greeted the head chef as he turned to him with a frown,"you are late!!"the man said sternly.

"I'm sorry sire,got hooked up with something!"he replied sighing.

"And who's the beauty besides you??,she looks more prettier than other girls"Gidfrey commented stretching his neck to get her full view,since she was at his back.

"She came to work?is she a good cook?"he kept asking not giving drake a chance to answer all his questions.

"Good day young lady,or should I say Good evening??!"he smiled warmly walking to her.

Isabella was speechless,she looked at drake for help which was fortile because he wasn't wen concentrating on them.

"G...good evening sure!"she replied as she wrapped her hands around her back to hide her already long nails.

"How are you my angel?"He asked coming close to her as she gulped hard.

"Sire there's much heat in the oven!"Drake interrupted him as the old man ran to the oven.

Drake used the opportunity to drag her away from the kitchen as she walked to the background.

Phew!!!-she sighed in relief.

"Are you okay??"he asked her.

"You know I wasn't okay in there!"she replied.

"I'm sorry ma'am "he smirked.

"But you really got to control yourself,else you could eat all the humans in this town!"he advised which made her sigh in fraustration.

"I can't,I really can't,I've never been to a human town,I've never lived here either,no matter how hard I try it's just a waste!"she replied sadly.

"It's okay"he patted her assuredly,"maybe someday,you'll get used to it!"he smiled as he walked to a bug basin filled with plates.

"Is this your work?"she asked in awe,looking at the quantity of plate inside the big bowl.

"Well yeah,I prefer washing played to slicing onion,pepper and other stuff!"he replied as he removed them from the bowl.

She just stood there watching him as he began washing the plates.

This guy was something else!.

"Are you gonna keep standing like a statue and staring like a child or will you help me??"he interrupted her thought as she walked to him,rinsing the plates.

"You're such a girl you know!"she teased as he looked at her.

"What??"

"You heard me right,I hate repeating"she answered making him chuckled and he straightened himself staring at her keenly.

"What?"

"Do I have a swollen round apple in my chest??"he asked as she laughed staring at him,"hell no!!"she laughed more as she covered her lips with her right hand.

"Do I have a sullen smooth shoulders?"he asked again. "No!"

"Then how I'm I a girl??"he questioned as she tries controlling her laughter from his first question.

"Actually....."she began as she stopped laughing.

"Only girls wash plates,never seen a guy do such work before!"she replied.

"Thank God,you said you've never seen so now you've seen,what a girl can do,a guy an do also!"he replied confidently.

"Uh-huh,"Se continued laughing until she heard a sound as she turned,she couldn't see anyone.

"Did you hear that??"she turned to drake who was busy on his work.

"Hear what??"he asked confused.

"That sound !!"she said as she began to feel it's closeness,she turned back but saw no one.

"I need to get out of here!"she stood up but drake stopped her.

"It's okay,there's nothing here!"he assured her,hugging her to himself as she felt the strange sensation.

Something was close to her,Why couldn't she fish it out!,she couldn't even see it!.

Her eyes roam around the bright environment but couldn't find anybody.

Drake tightened his grip to make her comfortable which was quite useless because she could still sense the strange object around.

"Please when will you be some washing ?"she asked frightened as tears began to roll down her cheek.

"I don't know,when we're dint cooking!"came his reply as she folded herself into him like she wanted to enter his body.

She felt secured white him but Te sound was so near,so near for her to comprehend!she felt like running but drake wouldn't let her.

"I'm scared drake!"she began to whimper.

"It's okay,I'm here"he assured her like he could protect her when any danger arises.

Gradually she began to feel safe as she felt the strange sensation leaving her.

"Are you okay now?"he asked waiting for a positive answer which made her suspicions.

"Yeah"she still answered feelin safe.

He tried letting go off her buts he wouldn't let go of him,"I don't know if it's gonna come again!!"she said ,"please lemme stay this way"she pleaded.

"But....what about the plates ??"He asked in a confused tone.

"I'll wash it may self!"she replied as she stretched her hands towards the plate.

Slow and steady,all the plates were inside the big bowl which he uses to wash the plate as the sponge scrubbed them without anyone hold on it.

Soon all the plates were clean and dry leaving drake dumpfounded.

"How....how..."he stammerer not knowing what to say.

"That one of my gift"she smiles as drake grinned which turned into an abrupt laugh.

"Oh my God,Oh my God!!,I can't believe this!!"he squealed happily dancing around which made Isabella smile widen.

"Oh come here you deserve a kiss!"he hugged her pecking every part of her face.

"Stop it drake!"she began laughing

"Woah!"he exclaimed trying to control his joy.

"Alright here's a schedule for the day!,he brought out a tiny booklet from his pocket as he opened his penn,Isabella was curious as she stretched her neck to see what he was jotting down.

"Every Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday,Thursday,Saturday and Sunday you'll be coming here with me!"he said infinalilty as he dropped his book and Len to Thiet respective places making Isabella smirk"that everyday dude!"she said as he looked at her confused.

"No,it's jut three days!"he argued,"check you booklet!"she folded her arms and waited patiently for his response.

He opened his booklet and flushed red in embarrassment seeing what he had done,"I didn't really mean that,washing plate is just too stressful for my liking,though that's the most wash work to do!"he replied.

"Vampire,they both heard as she saw an animal in a high roof close to the restaurants.

"Lycans!!"drake called out in fear as he dragged her to The kitchen running swiftly to tr exit door
