Chapter 4 4

Oh no!!

She disengaged from him and turned away,backing him.

She clasped her hands together,trying to control herslef.

Her saviour(the young man)was confused with

reaction "are you okay" he asked concerned, yet confused as she didn't answer.

He was about to make a move when her voice stop him. "Just give me a minute please"

She sighed tried and tried concentrating on her human form, she tried controlling her sense of smell as many individuals kept roaming about .

What she gonna do?

She began to panic when she felt a hand touched her .

No!, Humans!!!

She held on to the hand , turning furiously , she grabbed his neck .

"Hey.hey.hey.....calm down,it's me !"he pleaded ,it was the young man who saved her.

Mere looking at his face,she felt pity got him,he was begging for mercy not knowing he was like a sacrificial lamb.

Humans!!

Gradually her eyes began to come back to it's normal colour,same as her teeth,fingers and nails.

She let go of him apologising "I'm sorry!".

The young man was

Her transformation,she could hear his thought but she didn't want to harm him,if he reports her, she'll run away from town to a safe place.

But where??-her head asked her.

"What.....what are you??"the man stammered in fear.

She held the collar of his clothes"please calm down,I can explain!!"She kept telling him but he was still afraid,he tried running away but couldn't,her grip was tight on his clothes and there was no possibility of running,so he stayed cool trying hard to control his emotions.

As soon as she let go off my collar,I'm gonna run far away-he thought inwardly as she smiled,"I hear you!"came her reply.

What??"he asked.

"You're planning on running away when I let go of you!!"she answered confidently with a smirk on her lips.

"Oh please,don't kill me!".

"I won't,if I wanted you wouldn't be talking you know!"she replied,increasing his anxiety.

"Just trust me please,I need help!"she added pleadingly as he calmed down a little bit yet alert for a slightest opportunity.

"My mum is dead...."she began explaining.

His eyes widen I'm shock as he stared directly to her face "and my dad....I don't know about his whereabouts!"she began to whimper as tears rolled down her

"We once lived in the forest,very happily with doc anabel always providing pills of blood to sustain us in order to live and not come into human town....but this morning, everything changed!!!"her voice began to crack. "I took the pills from Doc Ana and headed home only to see my mum dead... "She couldn't continue anymore as the past scenario came into view .

She began crying.

Loosening her grip from the man as she turned around to leave,he covered her lips with her palm to prevent her from crying which was void.

Out of sympathy,the young man rushed towards her hugging her from behind,"it's okay girl!!"he whispered to her.

Suddenly the cloud becae pitch dark as the thunders roared .

"It's about to rain,come on,let's find a shelter!"he patted her lightly as they both walked into a closed store.

He smiled watching her clean her eyes,it's a good thing he called her back. Only God knows where she'll be going .

He knew she was a threat to him but he had to take the risk.

She was in far more danger than him!!.

Warewolves lurk around the city and with the books he's read,vampires and warewolves are never friends,they kill themselves and he was sure she'll be dead if she kept roaming around like a lost sheep.

Of course she was!!.

"What's your name?"he asked warmly as she stated at him for a while.

Could she trust this guy??!

"I'm Isabe!"she smiled warmly.

"I'm Drake,nice to meet you!"he stretched forth his hands for a handshake but she insisted on hugging him.

She wrapped her hands around him.

"Oh!!"he exclaimed as he covered her with her with his huge arms smiling.

He had a strange scent which she couldn't really point out,but when she looks at him,he had this warm alluring smile that could melt any soul who sees it.

She felt safe in his arms .

Soon she slept off.

First in all history!!!!

"Hey wake up!"she could feel a tap as she opened her eyes lightly,yawning in the process.

"I wanna sleep more!!"she whined.

"The rain has stopped,we need to head home now!"sg heard as everything flushed back to memory.

She sprang up,almost falling to the ground but Drake was quick enough to hold her.

He smiled raising her up.

What's up with the smile??-she scoffed inwardly.

"Thanks!"

"You're welcomed!".

They both walked out of the store as he led the way to his house.

She could feel eyes on her which made her uncomfortable,sh rushed towards him because of his fastness,she wrapped her arms around him feeling safe.

"What's up,are you okay??"he asked not looking at her.

"Yeah,I'm fine now!"she replied as they headed home.

"I'm home mum!"he exclaimed as he opened the door,he pulled off his shoes in the lobby and walked into the room.

Seeing what he did,she followed suit.

"Big brother is back, big brother is back!!"Two girls screamed happily running towards his direction.

As soon as they saw Isabella,they both came into an abrupt halt.

"Va....."

"Shh,shut it!!!"he yelled interrupting them as they gave him a suspicious look.

"Mum????,you've got to see this??!"they yelled In unison as they kept their eyes focused on Isabella .

"What is it children!!,can't you all keep white for a second??"A young lady came out cleaning her hands with a napkin.

"What's the pro......."she became silent seeing Isabella..

Soon,her once cheerful face became a frown.

"We need to talk son!"she said angrily to Drake who just nodded and faced his little sisters.

"Please take care of her!"he gave a pleading eyes but they scoffed,"she could take care of herself, she's a grown up!"one of them said while the other just keeping looking at Isabella irritatedly

Drake followed his mum and soon they were back."Alright kids,enough of the stare,this is not the first time you're seeing a stranger and besides you know your brother always brings girls to the house so stop that okay???!"she said in one breathe as she eyes Isabella who just stood confused watching the while drama.

They all ran to the dinning as they all took their fried meat , eating them hungrily.

Drake walked up to her "aren't you gonna join us?"he asked.

"Uhm .......No, I'm not hungry"she replied rubbing her sweaty hands together.

"O...okey then!,come sit " he directed her to the cushion which she sat while he joined his family.

"When will dad return?" The one glaring at Isabel asked as she turn to Isabel staring at Isabel irritatedly

What's it with the look??-isabella asked inwardly,they all seemed creepy to her.

"Shut it Josephine,dad would be back in a jiffy,now if you don't mind,eat you food"Drake scorned her angrily as she faced her food murmuring.

Isabella couldn't get what she said and she wondered why!,sh could read Drake's mind but since she stepped her foot into the house,everything changed!

She felt numb!

"Come on,lets go!"Drake who barely touched hus food,stood up as he dragged Isabella walking out.

She was confused,More confuse than ever!!

Since he finished discussing with his mum his contenance changed.

"Hey,where are we going??!"she asked

"I don't want my dad to see you!,came his reply as they walked away from the house.
