Chapter 7 She's human

What my supposed mate did at the gathering still bothered me, I was very sure that it was witchcraft but I couldn't sense any bit of it from her. I looked back at my hand that she had healed, it was as good as new but I still got her to touch me and that was all that mattered.

" Sir, Gabriel has asked for a meeting with you here in the mansion " Stan came barging in. As expected he called for a meeting but I didn't expect it would be that early .

" Now?, don't you think it's late? " I asked , " he scheduled it for tomorrow morning ``.

'' Hmmm" .

" What do you want, you can go! " I said to Stan who had been standing at a spot without doing anything.

" My Lord, if I may ask why does he want to see you? ". It was then I remembered that Stan wasn't at the gathering due to some pack issues, " I saw a lady who had managed to give warmth to my heart and I must have her as a mate " .

Stan opened his mouth in shock, the last time he checked I was the person that had vowed never to love a female as I had considered it unnecessary.

" My Lord, is that really true, you finally accepted Gabriel's daughter? " , with the way I stared at him, he knew better than to say anything more. " No, I have no intention to make Gabriel's daughter my mate but instead, I will take in her maid " . Stan's reaction was a little bit exaggerated, the lady herself wasn't as shocked as he was.

" Isn't she a human, can alphas mate a human? " he asked . I also didn't know if it was possible for humans and alphas to be mates as no one had ever tried it. " I'm not sure about that but I'm willing to try it " .

" If I'm correct, is that why Gabriel's coming? "

" Yes "

" What if he doesn't agree with you taking the maid, what will you do ? , there was a high possibility that Gabriel won't agree with this but if there was one thing about me, I always get what I want .

" Then get ready for an invasion " I said and walked past him.

" What a surprise to see you and your packs in my humble abode, " I said. Gabriel came with half of his pack after all it would be very foolish of him to come pay me a visit without backup . "I want to go straight to business, we agreed that you were taking in my daughter. Why go for her maid? " .

" We are still saying the same, you only want your daughter to be my mate so she can spy on me, well the maid can also do that for you, right? " I said while looking at the intimidating eyes of Gabriel's pack members. " I'd never said I wanted her to be a spy, we all know that the Red Moon pack is one of the most prestigious packs in the Country, I want my daughter to be part of it else this war will not end " .

Gabriel's words mixed with his tone sounded like a threat and that was I won't take, being threatened in his territory. " Is that a threat, Gabriel? " I said a little bit raising his voice " You can see it as whatever you want but don't say I didn't warn you " . As Gabriel was about to take his leave , I stopped him, " You have stepped on my tail Gabriel, I am going to take that human female right under your nose and there is nothing you or your miserable pack can do about it " .

" Let's see about that " Gabriel said and left with his pack.

" Are you really going to invade his home, you know that's against the rule " Stan who seemed to always remind me of a particular rule anytime I wanted to do something drastic said.

" He has broken a rule by threatening me in my own territory, if I don't forget anything, it would be a big blow to my face " I recognized this, it was pride and it had already taken over me, I needed to show Gabriel that this wolf was insane.

" So when will the invasion happen, I'm already getting excited about it " this was not the words I was expecting from Stan , I had to look at him again to make sure that he was not an imposter.

"In two days, Gabriel is a very busy man , I am very sure he won't be around to witness the invasion " .

"Ok my Lord " .

Words spread out really fast, every wolf was talking about my supposed human mate and as expected my father had come to hear it from the source's mouth.

" Is it really true you have found a human mate for yourself? " , without greeting, this was the first thing he asked. " Yes it is and don't even think of trying to change my mind " I said since it was very likely that he would oppose to it.

" Why would I? ,I have always wanted to be related to a human " . It was very clear that he was lying and that there was another reason why he had accepted her . " What did Gabriel say about this? " he asked. " He refused and insisted that his daughter would be my mate " .

Father's face immediately squeezed, he didn't seem happy with Gabriel's refusal, " how will you get her, she's in the Silver pack territory, that means she's out of your reach " , well , I didn't care, she must be mine .

" Don't worry yourself about that,I will bring her home " , there was no way I would have told him that I was planning an invasion , he would definitely disagree and inform Gabriel of my plan.

" Do whatever you want to do but don't put the pack in danger because of a mere human " . Yes, she was a mere human but she did what no wolf was able to do, capture my heart. " Now that you have confirmed that you want to know, can you leave " I needed to remind him that he was not welcome to any of my properties.

Now I was left alone, I went back into thinking about the human and what she did, was she a witch because only the witch's race could heal wounds.

This made me want her even more, I wanted to know more about her . " Ehm.. what exactly are you thinking of? " Olivia asked, " nothing, what are you doing here? `` with the way I answered her, it was clear that I was still angry at her and she had no right to mingle in my personal life.

" I came ... "

" Incase you have forgotten, you are just an omega, you can only come to my home when I ask for you " . I'd realized that it was because I gave her easy access to my life that was why she dared ask the human lady to avoid me.

"Is it because of that.. that human? " she asked but I won't sit there while she talks so rudely of her. " You dare not talk to me in such a manner, you should know your place as an omega " , I didn't care about the tears that were already on her eyes, it even angered me the more knowing that my future mate cried the same way.

" But seba..... "

" She will soon arrive and when that happens, I don't want her to see the lady that had hurt her feelings. Don't you think it would reduce my chances of trying to get her to accept me ? " , this was my indirect way of telling her that I don't want us to be friends, the only time we should see was whenever there is a pack meeting.

" Is that how you want it ?, you are pushing me away because of that thing you want to take in as a mate " at least she got the message .

" I won't stay here and watch you say trash about her, please leave " she stared at me as if I didn't know what I was doing or I was insane. " Sebastian, is that really you? " she asked, answering her would have been a waste of time so I left her.

There were more important things on my mind like how to be successful in the invasion and how to make her fall for me. Taking her was one thing , another was to make her agree to being my mate before we can officially be called mates ,no wolf or force can separate us when that happens, especially Gabriel and that can only happen if she falls for me.

"Hold on my lovely mate, daddy's coming for you " I chuckled as I imagined her calling me daddy.
