Chapter 5 The beginning of our friendship

It's another day for the magical session just as the usual, everyone is catching up especially Teresa's and Daphne's friends as well as the most impressive is Ella, always impressing Ms. Sapphire with her new ideas and inventions.

"This is marvelous Ella", said Ms. Sapphire complimenting her performance. "You'd more than just great". She said with a wink to Ella.

Daphne became quite jealous seeing that Ms. Sapphire is giving a lot of attention to Ella. Ms. Sapphire noticed Daphne's behavior and also complimented on her work.

"You'd beautifully too Daphne", said Ms. Sapphire.

"Uh! As if I needed that", replied Daphne.

"That's the Daphne we know", said Teresa as the rest of her friends chuckled.

After the magical session was over Rita went to meet with Ms. Sapphire and asked why she hasn't been improving in the magic session of which Ms. Sapphire explained to her and also encouraged her to find her own path that makes her happy. Of course Ms. Sapphire could tell that Rita loved music more than anything and it'll be great for her to explore her talent elsewhere. After all much said and done, Rita took the words of Ms. Sapphire's to heart to fully embrace her passion.

While going out of the class after the lecture has ended, she met with Daphne and her crew. Daphne on the other hand was mocking Rita for quitting the magical session with her friends trying to make Daphne understand that they can't just go on with their old lives anymore in humiliating others.

This surprised Daphne of course due to the new display of attitude towards her, taking on Rita's side.

"What?", said Daphne. "You're taking her side over mine. What happened to you girls".

"Nothing Daphne. We love you and that's why we're telling you this", said Roxy.

"It's time we give up our old way and become who we're meant to be", said Julie. "To let people love us instead of being afraid of us".

They told Rita to go as they left Daphne to think the words through to herself. During lunch time Daphne would see her friends sitting with Teresas' gisting and laughing together hoping for her to change, also seeing Rita with them as well which breaks her heart.

Suddenly, some group of commoners and royalty came into the cafeteria displaying fliers as a reminder for the fundraiser of the Acapella Boyz, a flier was giving to Daphne which she ignored at first, and after seeing the excitement on Ella and Jessica faces, a malicious plan came to her thought to savage the fundraiser support.

She stood up from her sit, ignoring her launch, summons her assistant to take her belongings to her dorm as she (Daphne) went straight to the principal's office.

"How may I help you Daphne", said the principal. As Daphne laid a convincing proposal to the principal to sabotage the entire fundraiser. At first, the principal did not concord to Daphne's plan as she saw nothing harmful in it and since it's going to be part of the upcoming prom which will also include Justin the royal prince invitation. The principal does not approved her sabotaging the fundraiser and then, Daphne reminded the principal that it was her wealthy parents that made the academy standing firm with their support of sponsorship, of course this made the principal speechless for a while and asked Daphne if she truly wanted to sabotage the entire event of which she responded "yes" to.

While everyone was happy about the fundraising an announcement was made by the principal to cancel every activities going on about the fundraiser and that it's just the royal academy principles of school management and if the fundraiser's still ongoing, every commoners will be kicked out of the academy for good.

"And Goodluck to you all royalties in your upcoming royal prom", said the principal.

"I'd what you've asked", said the principal. "What do you hope to achieve from it?", She asked.

"It's none of your business Ms. Principal", replied Daphne. Slamming the door on her way out as she was been spotted by Melody.

Meanwhile at the cafeteria, everyone grumbles about the announcement, some said it was unlike the principal to say such to the student, some argued that it was the work of the announcer as she's always had a tough time with the commoners.

Ella and Jessica couldn't take it anymore, they feel unease with what's happening to the academy, the treatment of individuality when they should be treated equally.

"We need to do something", said Ella.

"We can't just be treated irrational", said Rita.

"Royalty is about equality for the people. That what the school has always been like since the time of Aihandrui", said Jessica.

"It's time we step up for ourselves", said Teresa. Who called everyone's attention. Both royalties and commoners. As she laid down her plans to be executed after G class. James organized those that are in this together to set in motion.

For sure, not all royalty and commoners had the guts to join the protesters to win over their rights in the academy as everyone feel so tired of how the management is treating them, someone has to step up.

During G class lecture, a piece of note written "it's time" was passed down to every participants in the lecture hall. The teachers in charge of G class started hearing what seems like to be the sounds of instruments occuring in the class, when all of a sudden Rita and Ella who had already composed a music started. A music that depicts royalty are not so different from commoners after all.

After that, Rita and Ella also displayed another song, where Rita led some groups of commoners and Ella led some groups of royalties which set up the mood.

When all was over, it drew the attention of every teachers and also the principal of whom the people chose a representative for them, Teresa spoke wisely on their behalf which made the principal rethink and asked who Teresa was, when she revealed that she came from the kingdom of Aihandrui.

"Aihandrui", everyone whispered in lowly tone. It came as a surprise to the principal as she told them that the fundraiser will continue. She invited Teresa to her office for discussion.

Meanwhile, why on their way to their dorm, Melody came running when she came across Ella, Jessica, Roxy, Julie and Rita. Trying to catch her breath.

"Melody", said Ella. "Is anything the matter?" Ella asked.

While catching her breath, she stood up only to see the Harmonious girls with the Dream girls together except for Daphne and Teresa.

"It was Daphne!", said Melody.

"What happened to Daphne? Is she okay", Julie asked.

"She is but not that", replied Melody. "She was the one who ordered for the cancellation of the fundraiser support".

Melody explained everything to them as she went her way. Up on hearing this, Roxy and Julie became very upset and went to confront Daphne alone.

"This has gone too far", said Roxy

"I didn't expect this from Daphne at all", said Julie.

They met with Daphne and confronted her which she tried to deny at first but suddenly felt guilty and accepted her mistakes. This happened in song form by Roxy and Julie to Daphne.

After hearing what her friends had said, she asked for their forgiveness but without getting any reply from them as they left, making Daphne run away to have some alone time. Meanwhile, at the principal's office, she explained everything to Teresa and how she admired her courage in helping out the school get back on its feet. She also explained to Teresa about the Hall prom of Fame and showed her some beautiful pictures of her mother, telling her that she used to be her mother's lover right from the academy when they both started, and together they were inseparable until she decided to follow her own path to success. She never stopped loving Teresa's mother and she's was proud of her. After explaining all what Teresa needed to know, she also told her that she won't just make a good princess but she'll be the perfect Queen that Aihandrui and the academy needs.

After leaving the principal's office, she went to her friends, they explained how the sabotaging of the fundraiser was Daphne's idea. She told them she knew about it and that the principal explained everything to her. Teresa asked after Daphne as Daphne's friends told her she ran off. Teresa then went on, on her own to look for Daphne. She found her close to the stream waterfall fountain. Daphne felt sorry about everything as Teresa forgave her and that together they'll make the academy a good place for all, for it's not just a school but a home for all.

After saying all this, Ella, Jessica, Roxy, Julie, Rita, James and some few commoners and royalties came together with James opening with a song intro, and leading it as well. A song of "HOPE" to all

Just when all was over Daphne opened up and told them about the letter she sent to the Acapella Boyz stopping them from coming to the academy. She told them that the letter had been sent but haven't been delivered to the Acapella Boyz as they had not yet received it from their mail.

"We need to stop the message from being delivered", said Teresa. "Is there anyone here good with electronics".

No one responded until Ella and Jessica made a suggestion about someone who might be of help but she's not that easy to convince. Teresa asked who the person was as it happened to be Trixie, the ex-room mate of Ella and Jessica, as she's one of the best in operating any electronic devices.

"Trixie", said Teresa.

"Yes!", Ella replied. "But you'll need enough convincing cause she demands alot".

"Hmmm... It's not going to be a problem for Teresa", said Daphne. "I trust she can do it better".

They led Teresa to where Trixie was at the school cafeteria alone as they all gave them some privacy to discuss.

"Trixie!", said Teresa.

"I know why you're here!", replied Trixie. "What do I get in return?", She asked.

"What do you want in return if I may ask?", Teresa asked.

"I want the entire prom to be about me", said Trixie. "I wanna be the big picture".

"That's too much to ask Trixie, you of all people know that", said Teresa.

"You don't know anything about me", replied Trixie. As she was been served her coffee. And after much discussion for getting to know one another deeper they began their bargaining in song form.
