Chapter 8 Missing Body

Lisa walked towards her wardrobe searching for the most decent clothes. The ones she had seen so far were so indecent and if she were to put them on they'll barely cover her breast and thigh. She sighed when she finally found one, a pair of blue jean trousers and a simple red crop top. She stared at the clothes in her hands and hesitantly put them on. She stood in front of the mirror and stared at herself. The trousers she was wearing brought out all her curves and this made her feel uncomfortable. There are no other decent clothes other than the one she's putting on right now.

She bit her lips as her eyes came in contact with the wall clock, Alfred had told her to come to meet him downstairs in five minutes and now she's 5 minutes late. Oh my God!! I'm dead! She thought as she wore her slippers and ran out of the room, downstairs. "Master!" She called out to Alfred immediately she got downstairs and Alfred who was sitting down, Clad in a black suit, with an expensive golden wristwatch that was worth millions of dollars on his wrist. He was looking as handsome as ever. He stood up, his eyes filled with so much anger as he stared at her in disgust. Why does she derive so much pleasure in disobeying his orders, is it that she loves being punished? Alfred thought as he stared at Lisa with hatred in his eyes, then he finally spoke. "I said 3 minutes Lisa," he said in the deadliest voice ever and a cold shiver down her spine. "I am the sorry master," she said as she looked into his eyes, both of them staring at each other with hatred in their eyes. Lisa quickly closed her eyes and bowed her head, she knew the repercussions of staring at him straight in the eyes. Waiting for him to hit her or rather punish her but he didn't, all he did was stare at her his eyes filled with loathing, he felt like strangling her that moment, he wanted her dead that moment because she disgust him so much and reminds him of everything her father did to him and his family, but no, not now, he needed to make her pay for everything her father did to him. He wants to make her suffer till she begs for death. Minutes passed by without Alfred saying anything, Lisa was so curious Wondering why he wasn't hitting her, opened her eyes and raised her head. Her eyes met with the deadliest looks and the most beautiful pair of eyes in the world. Almost lost in his eyes, she bowed her head and swallowed hard waiting for him to hit her like he usually does. She closed her eyes again, this time tighter mentally prepared for the pain she was going to receive. Alfred stared at his wristwatch and noticed he was late for office all because of this slave of his and he was going to punish her, not now but when he returns. He had important matters to handle in the office. Since the day he left the board meeting, he hasn't gone to the company. He was planning on taking Lisa to his company today but then he gave it a second thought, he wasn't taking her with him and the reason was best known to him. "Get out," He said in the deadliest voice ever and pushed her to the ground then walked past her. Lisa groaned in pain as she fell to the ground. Pain seared through her, tears burning in her eyes but no she wasn't going to cry, she's stronger than this, she thought as she blinked the tears back. She stood up from the ground and without spending seconds there Lisa walked out of the sitting room and went to her room. Immediately she got to her room she sighed softly and sat on the bed different thoughts flooded through her mind. Days back she was mommy's princess, she remembered how no one dared speak to her rudely or treat her badly but today she's a slave bowing at someone's feet, not just anyone but his master's feet. Oh, life is so unfair, she thought as tears were threatening to spill out of her eyes that moment. Just then the door burst open revealing Ria. Can this day be any better? Guards surrounded the car immediately and workers could be seen running Helter-skelter, making sure everything was in order. What do you expect, their boss has arrived and they needed to be sure everything was in order. A bodyguard opened the door and a tall figure came out wearing a black suit, putting on sunglasses. "The CEO has arrived... Oh my Gosh!! He's here.. the most handsome guy I have ever seen is here. Oh, God!! I feel my heart beating so fast!! I missed him so much" female workers whispered among themselves. He has not come to office since the day he barged out of the board meeting and now here he is again, looking as handsome as ever. All the guards and workers bowed their heads as he walked past them. "Welcome sir Alfred," his secretary said and bowed his head but he gave no response. Alfred walked inside the elevator to his office, it was looking well decorated. He sighed softly, how much he missed this office. This was the only place he felt at peace. He walked towards his chair and sat on it. Suddenly, he heard a knock on the door. "Come in," he said coldly and his secretary walked in holding piles of files in his hands. Since Andrew left with Grandma Teresa out of the country, Liam, Alfred's secretary has been doing the job of both secretary and personal assistant. "Sir, Mr. Connor is here to see you,'' the secretary said, looking as tired as ever. He has been working all day without rest and he needed rest. "Tell him to come in and drop those files on the floor there, I'll look into them myself later. You can leave" Alfred said plainly and his secretary opened his mouth wide in happiness. "Thank you, sir," he said and dropped the files on the ground and walked out of the office and just then a huge figure walked in holding a briefcase in his hands. "Welcome Connor," Alfred said as he shook hands with him and Connor gave out a small smile. Mr. Connor is Alfred's lawyer. "You can sit," Alfred said and he nodded before sitting down. "Let's go straight to business," Alfred said and Connor scoffed then opened his briefcase and brought out some papers and gave it to Alfred. "These are the papers of Cranston's companies and mansions," Connor said, smiling at Alfred as he scrutinized the papers. He was supposed to be happy because these properties were his father's property and he has gotten them back but no he wasn't happy, he wanted more than these properties, all he wants is to make Lisa pay for her father's crime. "Are you sure these are the complete papers?" Alfred asked as he dropped the papers on the office desk and Connor nodded. Just then Alfred heard his phone rang and he checked the caller's ID and saw it was his investigator, stone. "Hello sir" "Has the body been found yet?" Alfred asked. After Lisa was taken away, Alfred requested for her mother but Damon told him he killed her, then Alfred sent his guards to go bring him the dead body, he just wanted to be sure she was dead but to their greatest surprise when they got there they didn't find the dead body.
