Chapter 5 His slave IV

Ma'am Teresa sighed softly as she walked out of lisa's room. "Poor kid" she muttered and shook her head before walking away to Alfred's room. "Alfred!" She knocked on the door but there was no reply. She opened the door slowly and walked inside. "Alfred" she called again as she closed the door behind moving fully inside the room but still no answer. "I wonder where he is!! I needed to talk with him about something important" She muttered and turned to leave but then she caught a glimpse of a something on his bed stand.

"Oh my God!! What is this? Let this not be what I'm thinking"She thought stood for seconds staring at what she saw, just as she was about moving towards the bed to take a good look at it. The door burst open revealing Andrew. "Grandma!" Andrew muttered looking shock when he saw Teresa. "Hey Andrew. I thought you left for the office?" Ma'am Teresa spoke with a smile on her face. "Yeah, but I came back to get something" he said and Teresa nodded as Andrew gave her the look of "what are you doing here too?". Like she read her mind she spoke " I came to see Alfred but he's not here" "Oh, he's in his study room" Andrew said and Teresa nodded before walking out of the room to the study room. "Alfred!" Teresa muttered as she opened the door to the study room. "Grandma!" Alfred muttered as he closed his laptop and rest his back on the chair he was sitting on. He looked so exhausted and disturbed. "Oh little boy!" Teresa muttered as she saw Alfred had dark circles around his eyes. She was sure he didn't sleep again last night. He looked so stressed and tired. For the past 15 years he has known Alfred, he hasn't been able to slept well. The horrible memories came running back to his head making him look disturbed. Tears welled up in teresa's eye. "Grandma are you alright?" Alfred asked wearing a concerned look. "I'm supposed to ask you that question son. You look stressed and tired" she muttered and alterd scoffed and stood up from the chair he was sitting on. He picked up his phone and called Andrew to report to his study room shortly. He dropped the phone and walked towards his grandma, then place his hands on her shoulder. "Grandma I'm fine. You should worry less alright. It's not good for your health, please" Alfred said and she nodded and the tears she's been holding for long she finally let go. "Grandma!!" Alfred called and wiped her tears. "C'mon you should go rest" Alfred muttered lowly, it was more like a whisper. "Alfred, I need to talk to you about someterng important" Teresa said and Alfred sighed sofly knowing what she wanted to talk about. She had ask ria this morning about her grand mother and she said she was in lisa's room. I wonder what that girl told her. "If it's about the girl, you can't change my mind grandma. It's already made up" Alfred said and was about exiting the room when she said something that made him stop immediately. "I saw that thing on your bed Alfred, Are you planning to use it on the lisa?" Alfred stiffened immediately. "Oh Goodlord!! I thought I told andrew to keep it safe and made sure no one sees it" Alfred thought. "Alfred please do not use it on her. She's innocent" Teresa cried out "Was I not innocent when her father took me into slavery. For fvck sake I was 10 years old. Just 10" he yelled like he has lost his sanity. Teresa moved back a bit. She became scared at one. "God!!" Alfred muttered and just then he walked out of the study room. Tears slid down Teresa's cheek as she sat on the ground. "Grandma" Andrew who just walked in muttered and helped her stand up from the ground. "Grandma! Please stop crying!" Andrew said and took her into a warm hug. "Do you think Alfred will ever find that happiness he's always craved for Andrew?! Do you think he will ever be at.peace again? Do you think he will ever let go of the past?" She paused and then Andrew pulled away from the hug and wiped her tears. "I believe with time everything is going to be fine, Alfred is going to be fine" Andrew said and smiled. Sadness in his eyes, he's not even sure of what he's saying. He doesn't believe everything is going to be fine again. He doesn't believe Alfred can be healed from the past because the sore is just too deep. A sore that couldn't heal for 15yrs, how do you expect it to heal now. It's impossible. ************** ************** ************** Lisa walked out of the bathroom, different thoughts running through her mind. She felt so weak and tired. She'd lost all hope. "I think it's high time I accept that this is my new life, my new identity - A slave that is my new identity" she thought and wiped her tears. She sniffed, as the memories of her mom came running through her head like flash. All her mom ever wanted was for Lisa to live a good life like every other person out there but then it's a dream that will never come true. She smiled as she remembered her.mom last word before the ambush took place. "Lisa baby!! No matter what happens, I want you to be strong!! I want you to be tough!!" She sat on the bed gawking around the room. Just then the door to the room burst open revealing Ria. She was holding some clothes in her hands. Immediately, Lisa saw her she stood up at once and Ria shot her a hateful glare. "Put this on and meet me at kitchen. You've gat alot of work to do today" Ria said and threw the maid clothes on her and turned to leave but then she stopped and turned to her. "You'd better be fast if you don't want me to punish you" she muttered and left and Lisa sighed softly with no expression on her face. TBC
