Chapter 4 Three

"Are you hard of hearing, stupid, or both. I said unhand her you ignoramus." It was a deep male voice some where from behind me, my hope and saviour right now.

I tried cranning my neck around to see the person but the hold the fücking guard had on me kept me in place. That and the guard was like a brick wall.

"This doesn't concern a palace guard, now keep moving pretty boy." The guard says, and I stiffen.

What the hell does a palace guard want here? I wonder.

"This is the last warning." The mysterious man says, coming closer to the guard and me.

I couldn't see what was hapening but the next thing I knew the guard was off of me and on the floor howling with pain and I was free staring in disbelief at the man on the floor.

Never had I saw anyone take down the guards here.

It was pretty damn awesome in my books.

"Thank god I got lost in here or else I would have been to late to protect you." I turned to look at the man, slowly taking in his attire.

He wore black dress pants, a matching black blazer and a deep navy blue dress shirt.

A silver belt with a gold buckle held his pants up and attached to the belt was a sword sheath and a gun holter.

Both held their respective weapon.

He also had a black leather jacket on over his blazer and it was this jacket that he was slowly taking off, handing it to me with slow movents as if I was a scared child ready to run.

"Thank you." I say with gratitude, putting the jacket on and zipping it up just under my breasts, smiling at the warmth.

I could smell his lingering scent, giving me a sense of déja vu.

"You hurt?" Came his deep response and I turn to look back at him, catching the insignia on his blazer.

Its the same crest thats on my necklace. I think, my eyes searching his face for answers.

Even he was familiar to me. His startling blue eyes and black as night hair.

I clutch my necklace as I slowly become dizzy, everything bluring infront of me.

"Hey did he hi-" I couldn't hear the rest of his words as I feel myself lean closer to the ground, knowing that I was falling.

The last thing I remember was strong arms catching me before my face could crumble against the hard concrete floors.

I spent my time in and out of consciousness after that, those strong arms always holding me against a broad chest as dreams swirled in my head, some beautiful and some terrifying.

Nothing made sense to me.

I could tell we were moving as the whirling of an engin could be heard softly but I never moved, the dreams always keeping me between consciousness and unconciousness.
