Chapter 3 It's her, the call girl

"But mum, how can I not....." he tried to question and she cut him off.

"You can always have sex outside marriage, we need her just for the company and nothing else" she convinced and he nodded a bit reluctantly.

Tears streamed down Ashley's face but she uses her hands to toast away the tears that streamed down her cheeks .

Yes her father might have used her for a deal, but she isn't going to let them treat her like trash. She descended the stairs angrily.

Ashley scoffed inwardly as anger gripped her, she has tolerated enough and she won't watch them call her names.

"As much as you see this deal as a benefit to us, it favors your company more" she chipped in and they both turned to stare at her.

"You don't have a say here" Mrs. Wilfred gave her a dagger stare and Ashley scoffed trying so much not to let fear take over her.

"Why??"she questioned with anger resounding in her voice

" if I don't have a say then watch me ruin what you work so hard for" she replied looking dangerous and Kai stared dagger at her.

"You've no right whatsoever to talk back at my mother" he stepped forward and defended while Ashley scoffed.

"If your mum wants respect, she shouldn't demand it, she should command it!" she replied her deep blue eyes holding anger While Kai gripped her hands. His reddish black eyes held fire, as anger reflected in them. If it had supernatural power it would be sure to burn her up.

"I will not have you speak to my mother that way. Now listen to me clearly, the next time you raise your Voice at my mother I will be sure to send you packing" he threatened and Ashley Scoffed before pulling her hands roughly from his grip.

"Try it and watch yourself fail!"She muttered calmly like a whisper but Kai could sense the power that followed the words out of her mouth. Without waiting to hear another word, she turned around and took the stairs this time tears burning the back of her eye. Although she had managed to say her mind, she is still not fine. She wishes she never chooses people's happiness over hers.

Kai Wilfred is the eldest son of the Wilfred family, he is the most cherished by his mother, maybe because she gets to use him to her advantage. Kai is a tall, slim, and elegant-looking guy. At age 30. He is cute and appears to be the apple of every lady's eye, he has a pair of reddish-blazing eyes and his complexion is almost pale white, he had this brown-colored hair that was styled to the right side of his cheeks giving him a demi look. Although He has a very cold aura, he is nice and sweet.

Kai is the Manager of a well-known cosmetic company. (skin nourish). Although his company has been at its lowest which was why he arranged to partner with Mr. William who has a modeling company in other to boost his fame as suggested by his mother. Mr. Williams insisted that he marries his only daughter to strengthen the connection.

Stepping into the room, Ashley walked to the bed and sat down heaving a very huge sigh as tears rolled down her cheeks. Her heart tightened in her chest in pain, She regretted going back home, she should have just traveled out of the country.

She heard the beeping sound of her phone and just when she planned to pick it up, she discovered it was her boyfriend, she hissed angrily and slammed the phone across the bed and laid back to cry.
