Chapter 7 STOPPING THE SPEARS

The Kings from each kingdom called a meeting with their council and discussed with them the matter to raise more army and improve the standard of the army, and that matter lead to arguments and some fought on the matter.

TWO DAYS LATER

Noah woke up scared after dreaming about himself turning into a dragon, he looked out the window and saw it morning. Noah looked around the room and didn't see Ramsay, he went out of the room.

Noah saw everyone sited at the dining table about to eat.

''How come you are all about to eat without waking me up?'' asked Noah making everyone notice his presence where he stood looking at them.

Ramsay (happy to see Noah) stood up and went to Noah.

Ramsay asked Noah ''are you alright, hope you are not feeling pain anywhere?''.

''What kind of question is that, why won't I be alright'' said Noah confused to Ramsay.

''Because you have been unconscious for the past two days'' said Gabriel to Noah.

''Unconscious? That's a joke right?"' asked Noah.

''No, you have been unconscious for the past two days. I hope you are fine now cause I pray to the gods to make you well'' said Lythia.

''That is impossible. I... I.....why can't remember anything from last night?'' asked Noah (confused).

''You mean the day you fainted, which is two days ago not yesterday'' said Ramsay to Noah.

''Two days? what happened, how did I become unconscious for two days?'' asked Noah.

''You became unconscious after stopping the knife master threw at you'' said Ramsay.

''I stopped the knife? Why don't I remember that'' said Noah (trying to remember).

''Both of you should come sit down and let eat. And you should rest yourself, Noah, sooner or later you will remember what happened'' said Zussorender to the two royal princes, then the two royal princes went to sit down.

As they were all eating, Gabriel said to Noah ''I think it best you know because I will miss you''.

''Know what?'' Noah asked Gabriel.

''Am going with mother to spend some days with grandparents'' said Gabriel (excited).

''That is very good, am gonna miss you too'' said Noah with a smile to Gabriel.

After breakfast, Lythia and Gabriel were seen off by the three of them then they returned home.

Zussorender sat down on his chair (sticks next to him on the floor) and the two royal princes stood in front of him.

''Ramsay has been trying to stop the sticks while you were unconscious but he couldn't, so before we will begin with today's training let me ask you something, Noah. Are you okay and will be able to train?'' Zussorender asked Noah.

''Yes I am, and am ready'' said Noah.

''Okay. The reason you both failed to stop the stick is that you both were trying to use your mind to control your magic which you haven't learned how to do.

You both have only learned how to summon your magic and controlled it with the use of your hands, not the mind.

Whenever I threw the sticks at you both, instead of the both of you stopping it by controlling your magic with your hands you expected to stop it with your mind when you haven't learned how to control your magic with your mind'' said Zussorender to the two princes.

''What about what Noah did that night?'' asked Ramsay.

''That is something different and that is why Noah is finding it hard to remember what happened because he forcefully summoned his magic and controlled it with his mind.

Now to stop the stick do exactly like I told you and concentrate'' said Zussorender.

''Okay, master'' said both royal princes (in a union).

Noah and Ramsay moved a few paces away from Zussorender ready to stop the sticks.

The two royal princes breathed in and out slowly and summon their magic and can feel its energy surging through them, then they stretched their hands forward.

''We are ready now'' said Ramsay to Zussorender.

''Remember before you release your magic, you must always give it a purpose'' said Zussorender to the two royal princes and they nodded their heads.

Zussorender raise two sticks and threw them at them, they were able to stop the sticks as they got in front of them.

Every stick and stone around Zussorender was thrown at them and they were able to stop it and were happy.

NIGHT

Zussorender took the two princes to the forest where he laid a trap without them knowing.

As they walked through the forest, suddenly Zussorender disappeared. The two princes became scared and called his name.

''Don't be afraid'' said Zussorender's voice said to them

''Where are you master?'' asked Noah.

''Am there with you and am not there with you'' said Zussorender's voice.

''Where are you and why did you disappear?'' asked Ramsay.

''Don't worry about that, I brought you both here so you could both train'' said Zussorender's voice.

"Train? What does that mean and why does it have to be in this forest and during the night?'' asked Ramsay.

''Don't try to run away because you both won't be able to. All you need to do is stop the spears'' said Zussorender's voice.

''What spear?" asked Noah, then a spear came out of nowhere toward them.

The two royal princes dodge the spear by rolling on the ground to the other side

''Now you see the spear. Make sure you stop all the spears from killing you both, I will watch from here'' said Zussorender's voice as the both of them stood up.

''Killing? I don't like the word killing'' said Noah to Zussorender but there was no response.

''You heard him, we have to do as he said'' said Ramsay to Noah as they walked to each other.

They got to each other, ''we don't know the exact location of where the spears might come from, so we need to watch each other back'' said Ramsay to Noah.

''Okay'' said Noah.

The two royal princes rested their backs on each other and looked around waiting for the spear to appear.

Suddenly spears came at them from different directions continuously.

The princes either dodged the spears or stopped the spear with their magic at the same time changing position and watching each other back, while Zussorender was sleeping at home.

Ramsay and Noah couldn't get sleep because they spent all night stopping the spears till morning when the spears stopped appearing.

Zussorender came to the two royal princes as the both of them were sited tired and all the spears on the floor.

''Well done boys'' said Zussorender to them.

''We might die on your hand sooner or later'' said Ramsay (tired) to Zussorender.

"I got a question for you master. Where did you get all this spear?'' Noah (tired) asked Zussorender.

''They are not real spears, they are illusions created with a spell'' said Zussorender.

''You mean, these spears are not real?'' said Ramsay in disbelief.

''Yes'' said Zussorender and the spears faded away.

The two royal princes became shocked.

''So we were stopping and dodging things that are not real'' said Noah.

''That's why it's called illusion. It looks real when it is not and if the spear hurt you guy, you will feel pain because you believe it is real and it can hurt you.

I create them so they could help you train and make you scared that they might kill you both.

Now I see you both are truly ready to train and learn magic. Let go I made you guys breakfast'' said Zussorender.

''Can't you just teleport us home please, I don't think I can feel my leg'' said Ramsay anymore.

''Then stay here'' said Zussorender and began to leave.

''Wait master'' said Noah as he stood up, while Ramsay lay on the ground.
