Chapter 4 Everett

I begin to feel hot as I watched her body move to the beat of the music. The way it was like a waterfall slowly trickling down to the floor. I can't stop watching. I know Nolan is going to see the lust or hard-on for his sister. "Look if you stare at her any longer your eyes will pop out." I turn to face him not knowing if he believes it's Lily or Sky. "What do you mean?" I asked. "My sister, dick." I'm about to shit myself when I say, "I've never acted on my feelings for her. I knew she had a crush on me but I thought if I stayed gone she would forget about me.

However, I didn't realize she would grow up into this amazing woman and I would start having feelings for her looking at pictures and listening to you read her letters out loud." "Ev, I know you haven't out of respect for me but she's twenty-three with a son. Are you ready for that?" He asks. I'm still watching when I say, "I'm so ready to have a family with her," I say. "Then go get her. You're not the only one that has feelings for someone," he says looking at Lily. Oh, finally he's going to do something about it. We make our way through the crowd until I slide in behind her and I can tell by her breathing that she knew it was me. I wrap my arms around her and pull her in close. I start to lay soft kisses on her neck moving down slowly. I lift her chin and look into her eyes letting her know she's in control. She doesn't move or even waiver. When our lips meet I can't explain how I felt. I was elated, lustful, happy, and then confused, and worried. I felt her move in even closer and rub her body into mine. I'm about to tell her everything and how I wanted for her to have a good life when Nolan and Lily crash into us with drinks. "Did we walk in on something?" Nolan asks. "No, just was about to go sit down," Skylar says. I turn my attention to the seating area and grab hold of her hand so as not to lose her in the crowd. I'm a big man, I am over six ft three and I lift weights so I'm stacked with muscles. Her hand is small in mine. She's not much bigger than five ft. I find us a booth and sit her right in my lap. She tries to get away but she figured out that she wasn't moving and she turns to me and rolls her eyes. Nolan just laughs. "Sit still darlin or we're going to have an issue." She instantly stops moving and looks up at me with a wicked look. She starts so softly to move her hips to the beat then she would switch legs of mine to sit on but brushes across my member before I hold her higher. She starts to laugh and all I could do was smile back at her. I wanted to hear her laugh all the time. I made her a silent promise that I would get her to laugh every day if she would only be mine. After a few hours, all three of them are pretty drunk and I decided it was time to go. It was already after midnight and I was sober. I stopped drinking hours ago. I got everyone's coats and shuffled them to the truck. Lily and Nolan had been all over each other tonight so they climbed in the back seat while I helped Skylar into the front. I walk around the truck and hop in. I let her warm up before taking off and heading to our house. I figured Lily and Nolan would share a bed and I would give Skylar mine and take the couch. "Ev..." I hear a tiny voice say. She sounded so sad. "Yes, darlin." "Why did you stay gone for so long? Didn't you know I was in love with you?" Yeah, she's had too much to drink otherwise she wouldn't be asking me that. I knew that she wouldn't remember me answering her. "I left because I was eighteen and you were thirteen. I left to make a better life for myself and to help you get over your crush on me. I was going to ask you on a date but you were dating Daniel then you stopped coming around when I was there and I realized you might still be hurt by my leaving. You had done what I wanted you had moved on." "I was so young and didn't understand my feelings for you and you just left me," she says. And before I can say a word I hear light snoring and realize she fell asleep. Nolan wasn't as drunk as the girls but he had drank plenty. I pull us into the driveway and park the truck right in front of the house. I round the truck and start to help Sky out when Nolan starts to help Lily out and up the steps. Once I get Sky out and the door shut she says, "This isn't my house." "No darlin it's not. It's your brother's and mine." I get her up the stairs and into my room before I head to the dresser and pull out one of my shirts for Sky to wear to sleep in. "I'll take you both back in the morning so you can get ready," I say handing her the shirt. "Thank you Everett," she says before I close the door. I grabbed some clothes and went to the bathroom to change. After I'm done I make my way back to my room and knock on the door. "Sky...." And that's when I heard the noises coming from Nolan's room. My door opens and she pulls me inside before shutting the door. "I don't want to hear my brother and best friend doing that," she says. "It's natural," I say shrugging. "Not when it's those two going at it," she says smiling. We can't help it as we both crack up laughing. I know she's starting to sober up. "Do you want some coffee?" I ask. "Sure. That sounds nice. We hurry down the steps into the kitchen where I make my way over to the coffee pot and hit the brew button. She gets herself set up on one of the bar stools and sighs. "What's wrong mama?" "I remember everything you said in the truck. I remember the club," she says. I don't understand at first. "Your brother pretty much called me out on my feelings for you at the club," I say. "He noticed you were staring at me," she says. "How did you know that I was staring at you?" "I could feel your eyes on me before you came to dance." "You sure it wasn't all the guys looking at you?" "You were the only one that mattered to me," she says. I walk towards and lift her onto the counter before stepping into the space between her legs. "You have feelings for me," she says. "Yes, I've had them for years but I didn't want to get between you and Daniel. Then as you all you know, I didn't want to be a rebound either. So I stay away and let you grow into this amazing woman before our eyes," I say. I get lost in her beautiful green eyes. Her soft smooth skin looked like porcelain. She had a great body and she was looking mighty tasty in my shirt. I step closer into the space and practically pull her to me until she was barely sitting on the counter. I lean in and say while looking into her eyes, "Tell me to stop and I will." "What if I don't want you to?" It's all I hear before our lips collide with each other. "Sky, I'm ready for it all. I want to be with you and Cooper." Before she can speak her phone goes off. She ignores it, then it goes off again. She stands and walks to her purse where she pulls out her phone. "It's Daniel."
