Chapter 7 I'm here for You

Luke drove into the mansion and rushed out heading towards the main entrance where he met his grandfather waiting for him impatiently. It looked like he had been waiting for a long time.

"What took you so long to arrive here, young man, don't you know how to drive again?"

Senior bleak questioned his younger

grandson. He can't believe how clumsy they are becoming.

"Sorry grandpa, I am here now. So why do

you need me home so urgently."

Luke asked, hoping that he would say something else other than what he told him on the phone.

"Like I said, the wedding has been canceled. The Sahery has called to say that their daughter has gone missing therefore no wedding but the information I got said that she has secretly married her long-term lover and there is nothing I can do about that. After all, I never supported your relationship with her. So take heart, son and have a nice Christmas Eve, I will be in my room."

Senior Bleak said and left with his bodyguard, he did not give Luke a second glance, to him, everything that is coming Luke's way, he deserves it big time. That's what happens to you when you joke with the one who truly loves you.

Senior Bleak had met Alex Coker once and had loved her, he couldn't believe his grandson would wake up one morning and decide to call the relationship to quit.

Alex Coker does not come from a wealthy family like his but she is down to Earth and he loves her like that. He only needed someone who would give his offspring peace of mind.

Luke stared at his grandfather as he went inside the mansion. He did not understand what he was feeling at the moment. He is the biggest fool of his time. How is he going to go back to Alex to take back his words, would she accept him back, he can't afford to think of such.

He hoped it was not too late for him, as he made to go back to his car, maybe to find solace somewhere, he saw the family Bugatti being driven in. He wondered who was in the car, as far as he is concerned, his parents are coming home tomorrow from London so it can't be them.

His elder brother, Josh is in town but he went out with his Rorce car so it can't be him either.

He stood and waited to see who. The back side door opened and a lady who was handcuffed was pushed out. He wondered what she did and who brought her, he hopes it was not his grandfather that has ordered her arrest.

Then the other side opened and his brother Josh stepped down. Luke creased his brows. "What happened to his car and what is he doing with the lady." Luke thought

Josh came over to the lady and began dragging her forward. Luke caught a glimpse of her and gasped, it was Alex but why is she there, being dragged like that? What is Josh doing with his ex-girlfriend or rather his girlfriend because he tends to go back to her?

Questions he had no answers to were churning up in his mind

He hopes what she did is pardonable however he smiled. Maybe this will be in his favor. After he might have saved her, she would have no option but to accept him back.

"Don't worry Alex, I am here for you" He muttered and awaited their arrival.

Alex stumbled as Josh dragged her. When she becomes a criminal is what she doesn't know.

These rich people can frustrate your life, that's why Luke could break up with her without a second thought and now another rich dude is maltreating her.

Her wrists were aching and she hoped for this handcuff to be taken away from her wrist so that she would massage them. She had pleaded with the madm*n that she would not run if he takes the handcuff or even pulls the sellotape off her mouth yet he never heeded to hear her plea. She wondered if he even has a heart and with what she is seeing she does not think he has an atom of emotions in him.

"May God help her to see her escape route soon." She prayed.

Josh dragged her and stopped in front of his younger brother Luke, he was amused by the look he saw on his face. He wondered why Luke has to pity someone he does not know. Only if he finds out what she did then he would remove those looks of pity in his eyes.

Sighing with relief that they have finally stopped, she looked up to meet the shock of her life. Luke was staring at her with pity all over his face. Her heart stopped beating for a split moment.

She was feeling exhausted before but seeing Luke here all exhaustion flew off. She gritted her teeth and glared at him. It looks like these two are related and there is no doubt about it. Funny enough, they have brought too many troubles to her, one broke her heart and the other wants to break her body.

This kind of entanglement is what she does not want. Having nothing but anger towards Luke, she frowned and threw her face away, and with that, she realized that she has been here once or twice during the early stage of their relationship and Luke's grandfather has accepted her. She had hoped that their relationship would work because she was accepted into the family.

So it only looks like the brother Luke could not stop talking about is this dude that has refused to let her go, what an irony! She bet the guy does not know that she was his younger brother's ex or maybe he is aware. Anything is possible with these rich people.

"Yo bro, what are you doing here? Are you not supposed to be at your bachelor's Eve party?"

Josh asked Luke, smirking and Alex frowned. So the reason he broke up with her is that he wants to get married.

It was beginning to make sense to her, he has been cheating on her all this while.

"Big bro, what are you doing with my girlfriend?" Luke asked with a slight frown on his face.
