Chapter 5 Pillow fight

Back in the boy's room

Ceda just had to make things bossy "you sleep on the left side and I'll sleep on the right, make sure not to roll over because I don't like much body contact" he said commanding but Ikiris is still not someone who just obeys anyone

"you should be happy I obliged to stay in this filth of a room, your father obviously wants us to be here and that is why we are still here" he says while rolling his eyes at Ceda he doesn't even want to share a room he just did not want to throw a tantrum,

"in your dreams, you are totally too baby to take care of yourself so you are just here to be babysitted" Ceda teased him, Ikiris might still be 5 years old but that did not mean he could not take care of himself so he would not stand someone even the same age as him looking down on him

"I don't need to be babied, Bali just wanted to see Jada and that is the only reason I agreed to be here" he said a little louder which made Ceda laugh, this annoyed him big time and he used a pillow to hit Ceda and Ceda obviously retaliated causing a big pillow fight, all the pillows ended up torn before Nema opened the door

"why are you both being noisy this night " she questioned them in a low but annoyed tone, Mal had just fallen asleep before the noise started, thankfully he didn't wake up

As usual they both argued on who started it, Nema had no strength to argue with them and just glared at Ceda

"I told you specifically to make sure you both go to bed early did I not?"

Ceda's head was lowered "yes, you did"

"now clear this mess up and go to bed" she said while pulling Ikiris out of the room

"why do you two always argue" she asked him but she was rewarded with silence, she took him to Mara's room her bed was big enough for three too but she was in the middle so she adjusted her and told him to join Mara on the bed and bid him good night then left the room.

Ikiris wasn't very sleepy so he looked around the room with the dimmed light that was lit on the table, the room was filled with a lot of purple that pained his eye sight a little 'she is really too baby and girly' he thought to himself while looking at the sleeping Mara, he dropped the light back and slept off, he did not sleep long enough before hearing whimpering sounds that made him open his eyes half sleepily, it was Mara who was crying in her sleep 'is she having a bad dream' he thought to himself till he heard her saying almost inaudibly

*dada Mara hurt, Mara hurt* and she was sniffing, he was still sleepy so he had to get rid of the noise so he rubbed her arm a little trying to console her but not wale her up in the process, after a while she stopped and he joyfully slept back.

In the morning

The maids had already started their chores around the mansion and the chef had already started preparing breakfast

Dami was the first to wake up so naturally she saw butler Gaius first at the front door talking to one of the Yera's maids, she felt happy inside because they were finally going to go home since butler Gaius came to the Yera's mansion this early he must have come to pick them up to go back to their own home, she walked up to him

"butler Gaius good morning" she greeted him smiling

"Young Lady Gowa good morning" he was frightened by the sudden noise and when he noticed Dami he had to maintain his composure the more

"am sure you are here to pick us up, I'll go get Ikiris and Bali immediately" she said excitedly before turning towards the stairs leading upstairs

"Young Lady Gowa that won't be necessary" he stopped her before she reached the second step he really felt sorry seeing her confused look but he still maintained his composure.

"What do you mean butler Gaius? Are you not here to send us back home?" She asked looking puzzled and confused

"well Young Lady Gowa I am indeed here for you three but that's not to send you back home" he replied with a little smile to cover up his hesitation

"isn't mom and dad back from their dinner date?" she felt a little sad and it has just been a few hours since she last saw her parents how will she stay for more hours then?

"Indeed they have but the Master and Madam decided to elongate their date to the remaining month so the Master sent me here to deliver your luggage" he explained guiltily,

Dami felt like she has just been poured a bucket of ice when she heard that "but why did they not pick my calls all along and told me themselves!" She raised her voice she was very unhappy

"the Master and Madam decided to send me instead probably when you called was when they were in the plane Young Lady Gowa" he felt bad lying to her but what other solution was there?

"So you are trying to say that our remaining month will be spent here? So we have to stay here?!" She just couldn't accept it

"yes Young Lady Gowa" he replied but Dami had already angrily left, 'The Young Lady Gowa really has a temper only God knows how long she will hold it in' he thought to himself before addressing the maid he was talking with when Dami entered.

(In Mara's room)

She just woke up and stretched a little but noticed she would have fallen out of the bed if she had turned too much 'why does my bed seem smaller today' she thought then sat up half way, she then noticed another Teddy bear on the bed

"wow it looks really big like me" she said cheekily then stretched her hands to squeeze the cheeks 'wow it's really soft' her eyes were really bright while she was squeezing the cheeks playfully and giggling.

Ikiris felt nuisance in his environment and body making him to open his eyes but slowly because he was still a little sleepy, when Mara saw the teddy's eyes moving she was frightened and screamed then fell off the bed and hit her bum on the floor, it hurt alot causing her to cry but not so Loud,

"why do you like crying all the time" Ikiris who was still sleepy had to wake up fully now because of the noise

"teddy turned into monsder" she said as she was still sobbing lightly,

"which teddy?" He asked looking at the teddy on the bed and the ones surrounding the bed he was confused

"you monsder teddy" she said pouting her lips, blinking her eyes and pointing at Ikiris with her little finger.

Freda walked into the room cause she heard something fall in Mara's room, her room is directly after Mara's room and she saw the situation when she walked in,

"Mara what are you on floor for" she asked sweetly pulling her up she really loved Mara more because she understands what she speaks, probably because they both don't speak well yet.

"There is a monsder Freda look" she said milkly and sofly like she was whispering and trying to convince her of the monster so it doesn't hear her while pointing to Ikiris

"I am not a monster" Ikiris said staring at her in disbelief he was a handsome boy he was sure of that because he knows the looks he gets when he goes outside, Freda did not understand why he fell asleep in Ceda's room then she saw her in Mara's room this morning she was sure she heard mum telling Ceda to sleep early with him but anyways he did not hurt her sister

"this is ikiri Mara, they came to our home yesterday did you not see him?" She asks her and Mara shakes her head signifying a no

"are you kidding me, we even ate lunch and dinner together " he stated feeling a little insulted, how can she not notice him?

"She notices papa many of the time so don't be suprisa " Freda tells him with her baby voice and she walks out of the room with Mara.

'Why are these people weird, first it was Ceda and now Mara, at least Freda seems better even though she still doesn't speak well' Ikiris thought to himself before heading out of the room, he couldn't sleep anymore now he just wants to go back home to his room.

Everyone was already sitted in the dinning hall

"I'll be taking the kids out to have fun today, the holiday will soon be over so they should stretch out more before resumption" Nema suggested at the table

"I am not interested in going out today" Dami replied in a disrespectful tone
