/Ava POV/

I am really sorry sir, i woke up late that is why i came late but i promise not to let it happen again " i pleased with him so he could let me go to my sit because i don't like been the center of attention.

Is woking up late an excuse miss ava, what were you doing all throughout the night that you forget that you were going to school the next day and i have also notice that you have been coming to class late for a week now " mr John said"

I am sorry sir "I said trying to cut our conversation short,so i can go to my sit"

Hmm, it not about you pleasing with me miss ava, it about you been late for school for almost a week now. I am only going to allow you attend my class today but if you let it repeat itself again, you will be receiving punishment. Am i clear "mr john strictly said to me"

Yes sir, it will not happen again "i respond"

You can go to your sit now but don't forget what i just said "he warned"

It better not happen "he said before i rushed to my sit and then he continued his teaching"

Why are you so late today, i have been calling your phone to ask you why you were not in school but your phone was switch off "my best friend violet who was sitting next to me whispered to me immediately i sat down on my sit"

Violet had been my best friend ever since we started six grade today which was almost five years now. I still find it weird that she is my best friend because she comes from a very rich home and her parents are one of the top billionaire in London but she doesn't act like it. I remember when we first met, it was my second day at this school and i was so lonely because the kids there didn't want to associate themselves with me because i was schooling there with a scholarship and that very day i forgot my school map at home so i couldn't location were the music class was. No one offer to help me when i ask them but violet came out from no where and offer to show me the way to the music class since she was going there too and that was how we became friends and later we turned into best friends.

Are you even listening to me, i am talking to you Ava "violet whispered into my ears bringing me out of my thoughts"

Oh i am sorry, what were you sayings "i whispered back while putting my lunch box inside my desk locker"

You see, you were not even paying any attention to me Ava, what were you even thinking about. Anyways i was just asking you why you came so late for school today and why was your phone switch off "violet whispered to me"

Oh, i slept late. That was why i came late today "i said and when i was about to yawn, i use my hand to quickly cover my mouth before yawning "

Hmm, what is really going on with you. You have been coming late to school for over a week now and you also look stress out, but anytime i ask you about it. You will always have an excuse to get, why are you are refusing to tell me the truth Ava "violet whispered while gazing at me"

Stop looking at me like that okay, i am not hiding anything from you "i whispered back while removing my math note book and text book from my school bag before putting my bag inside my desk locker"

And just when she was about to ask me any question, Chloe and her friends walked into the classroom as if theirs father own the whole school. My bad Chloe father especially owns the own school and the thought of it always makes me to roll my eyes at them secretly.

They just walked into the clas and went straight to their school without the teacher asking them why they were late or even saying any word to them,i guess that is what money can do.

Did you just see that, they just walked into the class and just went to their sits without the teacher asking them why they came late to class but when you came late, he had the guts to ask you why you were late and he even wrong you not to come late again or he will punish you. Is this teach really doing this right now or he is just joking because i am not finding it fun "violet almost yelled out in angry but i quickly whispered to her to lower her voice down"

What if i say it aloud, what is going to happen. You think am i afraid of them or anyone "violet said raising her voice and i immediately gaze at her"

This is just the typical violet, she act crazy almost all times especially when the matter have to do with Chloe and her friends anna and lucy.

Miss violet, is there something you will like to share with the class "mr john asked violet and the whole class attention was draw to us, making her the center of attention"

Yes and i have something to share with everyone "she said standing up from her sit"

Mr john I have alot of things that i want to say, that it making me so angry. why did you "i quickly interrupted her From finishing her statement, as i dragged her to sit down while use my hand to cover her mouth to prevent her from saying anything"

because i know when she says what is on her mind, i will get into trouble because anytime she talk back or rebel against Chloe and her friends, i always get into trouble with them since they can't do anything to violet or even try to bully her.

I didn't really tell violet about it because if she knew that they usually bully at her back when even she talks back at them, this school is going to catch fire with Chloe and her friends burning inside it and i don't want that to happen.

She was about to say nothing, you can continue with your teaching sir " i said and mr john raise his eyebrows at us strangely before he continued his teaching and i was so happy that nobody was paying anymore attention to us"

What is your problem ava, why did you dragged me down to sit and why did you also covered my mouth when i was about to say something very important "she whispered to me while looking so annoyed at what i just did"

That is because i don't want us to get into trouble with the teacher "i lied"

Ahh, you are so annoying ava. you will always have an excuse anytime the matter have to do with Chloe and her stupid friends, i know you just lied to me just now because you are so bad at lieing. I know there is something going on that you are not telling me, so you better start talking now "violet said question me"

I am not hiding anything from you okay, i just hate it anytime you get into a fight with them and we both know how it always end "i said while trying to convince her that i was not lieing"

I know that you are lieing to me right now and i no that you are definitely hiding something from me but i will let it slide today but if i find out they are bullying you or doing something to you behind my back. I swear i will make sure they bleed before burning the whole school to the ground since her dad owns it " she said with a very serious expression and i no she really meant what she said and it made me to panic inside on what will happen on the day she will found out it"

And you will definitely go to jail if you burn the whole school down, so don't even try or think of doing that and for your information they are not bullying me behind your back, so you don't have to bother about me or thinking of burning the whole school down "i said"

I asked you why you came to school late early and you have not yet told me why you have been coming late to school for over a week now "she said"

I have been coming to school late because i was busy watching movies almost all through the night "i said trying to sound truthful"

And why was your phone switch off this morning "she asked again"

That was because i forgot to charge it when it was low yesterday, so i guess it shut itself down "i explained"

So because you have been watching movies, that was why you have be coming late for a week. I also noticed that you have been lacking behind in your homeworks which you don't normally do even if you watch a movie for the whole night and it been going on for a week now and anything i ask you about it, you will always have an excuse to give me "she said and i kept quiet because i didn't no what to say and she stared at me for some few seconds before looking away "

You should know i don't care if i go to jail because of you, that is what i can do for my best friend and i actually mean it "she said before focusing her attention to what the teacher was saying, before i could even respond to what she said"

This is the main reason that i am afraid to tell her about the bullying because she cares about me too much and i know if she finds out about the bullying, it going to lead to something dangerous and i know when it happens, that i was going to take the fall for it. So it better that i keep it a secret from her until i find a way to come out of it.

I knew i could bare all this bullying and i also knew that i had to be strong for now as it is remaining only one year to finish this nightmare called high school.
