Somewhere in london, a girl called Ava could be seem scaring at her reflection in mirror and sighing for the tenth time this morning.

Ava are you still sleeping and why is your door even Locked "my mom yelled from outside while trying to open the door"

Am i already awake mom "Ava said and opened the door for her mom"

Since when did you start locking your door and why are you not yet dressed for school, it almost seven thirty and you know that i have to drop you off at school today and also rush to work after dropping you off "my mom said while checking her wristwatch"

I don't want to go to school today mom "Ava said with a low voice but her mom Heard it anyways making her mom to narrow her eyes at Ava "

Baby not today, why do you keep saying it almost everyday. I don't know what is going on with you anymore, you suddenly hate your schoo but i remember you were so excited to start that school but now you hate it so mush. It there anything going on or is there something you want to tell me. You know you can always tell me anything and i will always listen "mom said and when Ava was about to tell her, her phone rang and she immediately picked it up"

That is just my mom, she is always busy and she Hardly have time for me. Anything i want to tell her something important just like today, she will always be on the phone or rushing down to work or just be busy. she have been like this ever still my dad left us years ago with just a good bye and an apologize note, mom have not been the same since then as she buried her whole time in her work. she works at a construction company as a secretary to the owner of the company Mr Robert which is also Chloe dad.

Chloe is the main reason i hate going to school because she will stop at nothing in making my life miserable and alongside with her friends anna and Lucy. They are the main bullies in school and almost everyone is afraid of them which also includes me and to make the matter even worst Chloe dad is the owner of the whole school, so no one dare to tell the school authorities about the bullying. If someone dare to report Chloe and her friends, Chloe with turn the case to her favor making the person suffer more bullying in the hands of Chloe and her friends.

Honey, i really need to go right now. I got an urgent call from the company about some business file,so i really have to take care of us "mom said immediately she got off the phone and i just rolled my eyes because i knew she was going to say that"

Honey, i am really sorry. I will make it up to you. Please make sure you catch the school bus and also make sure you go to school or you will be ground from going to violet house or any where you will want to go. I really have to go work now, so see you after school and also make sure to eat before going to school. i promise to make it up to you when i get back from work and we will finish our discussion then " mom said and when she was about leaving she stopped and turned to you"

Oh i forgot to ask you, do you have any money with you for upkeep. Anyways, just take this "she said taking some money from her bag and stretch the money to Ava and she stared at the money for few seconds before taking it from her"

Love you " she said and pecked my cheek before rushing out of room and closing the door behind her"

That is what she always does and say every single time but we have never finish any of our discussion from every morning. it is so annoying that she always ditch me after promising, we will talk when she get back and i am even More annoyed that i have to go to that damn school.

Ava stared at myself in the mirror for some few minutes before going to the bathroom to have her bath. After bathing, she quickly dressed up and took her bag which was on her bed and walked out of her room locking the door behind her and then she rushed downstairs because she was already late for school.

Good morning grandma "Ava said immediately she saw her grandma eating at the dinner table and she wanted to peck her grandma check before sitting down at the dinner and she drop her school bag next to her chair"

Good morning darling, the time is already 8pm. I wanted to check up on you because you were running late for school but your mom said that you were fine and that you will come down soon. What have you been doing in your room when you no you will be going to school today "grandma asked while chewing her food "

I am so sorry if i make you worried, i woke up so late today "i said hiding the whole truth on why i woke up late"

The reason i actually woke up late was because i slept late, i was busy with Chloe, anna and lucy homework and i know if i don't do it i will be in big trouble at school. I have been doing their homework for a week now and it usually take almost all the night to do it because the homework are so many. So i am not really lieing to my grandma, i just left the rest of the story.

Ava I have been noticing you for a while now and i know something is bothering you because you have been too distances. You have been waking up late for over a week now and you keep giving me the same excuses anytime i ask you about it. You have been like this even still you started that school, i don't really like the school myself. So if there is something going on in that school, you no you can always telling me. What is really going on with you ava, please talk to me "grandma said looking worried and she even stop eating. So that her full focus could be on Ava"

Grandma is not the school okay, so you don't have to bother about that "Ava said assuring her worried grandmother"

Okay if you say so but i heard from miss mary the lady that live in the side of the street that rich kids always bully other students and if someone report about it, the school authorities will not do anything about it. So if any thing like that happen, please make sure to tell me so i can teach those rich kids a lesson not to mess with my granddaughter and you can also talk to your mom about it "grandma said"

It not like she cares to no, her work is her life "Ava said in a low tone but her grandma heard it"

Ava, you know she is "Ava interrupted her grandma before she could finish her statement"

You know you don't have to cover for her grandma "Ava said hoping to make their conversation short"

I know but please make sure you take good care of yourself "grandma said holding my hands"

This is the main reason why i love my grandma so mush, she is always bothering herself about me but i still can't tell her what is really going on in my school because my mom works under Chloe dad that is why i was privilege to school there on a scholarship. The school is really expensive, so we can't really afford it. It's not really about not going to the school but it about my mom job been affected. I afraid if i tell her or grandma about the constant bullying,my mom will make sure she do something she can about the bullying and she could even quit her job because the owner daughter is involved and i know how mush effort my mom have really put in her job and i also know how this job have really helped my mom to stop thinking about dad his appearance.

I am fine grandma so you don't have to worry yourself about me, i really have to go to school now because i am running late. so i wouldn't be able to eat right now but i promise to buy lunch at school " Ava said"

I knew you were going to say that " grandma said and went into the kitchen before Ava could repond"

After some seconds, she came back from the kitchen holding a lunch box on her left hand and she was also holding something on her right hand"

I knew that you are going to say that you were running late, so you can't eat. That was why i made sure to pack you a lunch box and also take this for your transport fare to enter the bus. I hate it everytime i see you riding that your bicycle to school, so take this money and don't think of riding it your bicycle today " grandma said before handing the lunch book and also money to Ava"

Grandma thank so much for the food but you don't have to bother yourself about the bus fare. Mom have already gave me some money and i also have some money from last week, so i can't collect it from you "Ava said taking only the lunch box from her grandma"

Don't tell me not to worry and i don't care if your mom already gave you money or you have some money from last week. You may want to buy something you like, so take it and don't waste my time in taking it. You know you have to go to school right now, so take it fast "grandma said while giving Ava the money"

Take it now, you are getting me annoyed or do you want your grandma to start feeling bad for not giving you money to take to school "grandma said frowning"

Okay grandma you win, thank you allot grandma. You are the best "Ava said smiling before taking the money from her grandma"

I really need to go to school now, so bye for now "Ava said hugging her Grandma for some few minutes before separating herself from the hug and then she put the money her grandma gave her inside her bag and then put her school bag on her back before holding the lunch box on her hand"

Good bye Ava, make sure to have a wonderful day at school "grandma said while escorting Ava outside the house "

I will " Ava said when they got outside"

Okay go now before you get too late for school "grandma said waving at Ava while standing at the door and Ava waved good bye before closing the gate"

Ava knew that the school bus have already left, so she didn't bother waiting for it. She walked to the bus station and waited for a bus to come. It took her ten minutes before she could finally see a bus to enter and she already knew that she was so late for school.

The bus was so crowded with people, so she had to stand all throughout the ride to school. When the bus finally stopped at her school, she was a Little bit relieve as She got down from the bus after she payed the driver and then she rushed inside the school. she didn't bother to stop by her locker to drop her things, she just went directly to her class.

Immediately she entered the classroom, she was stopped by her mathematics teacher mr john who was already teaching.

Miss Ava, why are you coming to school by this time. It already nine AM or did you not check your time before coming to school. Do you have any reason for being late today "mr john asked me and i was nervous because everyone attention was one me"
