Chapter 6 YOU WILL START WORKING TOMORROW

Rita glared angrily at Helena. Obviously, she didn't like what Helena did, she's literally imposing a job on Valeria.

"Just go inside, Valeria, you won't take the job," Rita stated.

"But mum-."

"No buts, you'll do as I've said," Rita interrupted.

Valeria grumbled inwardly, she really wanted to assist her mom in any way she could.

"Since you've rejected my offer, how're you going to pay your debt?" Helena asked.

Valeria was about to leave for her room when she heard what Helena said.

"What debt?" She curiously asked.

"It's nothing dear." Rita stepped in. She knew her friend was a blabber mouth.

"She borrowed money from our daily..." Helena was saying when Rita quickly covered her mouth.

"Umm, Valeria, you can go ahead." Rita smiled nervously.

"Spill it, mum. You know how much I hate it when you're hiding things from me." She said, quite angrily.

Rita took her hands off Helena's mouth.

"You're just 15, Valeria. I don't want to be a burden to you. You have so much on you already," Rita said sadly. The situation at hand has really weighed her down, she's just trying to be strong for her daughter.

"I know mum, but we're in this together,remember? We have only each other, so please let me help you." She gave a pleading face.

"But I can't risk it, I don't want to be apart from you." Rita stood up and held Valeria close in an embrace.

"Come of it Rita, you'll get to see each other on weekends." Helena interrupted.

"Please mum..." She pleaded.

"Fine! You can go. But i still don't want you to go." Rita welled up and hugged her.

"I've heard what I wanted to hear. You can bond all day long. First thing tomorrow morning, I'll come pick you up. Prepare very early so you won't be late for school."

"Your clothing and everything should be intact. You will be staying with them, that's all I can say for now. When you get there, they'll give you all the necessary details," Helena said, and Valeria nodded.

"I hope they aren't bad people?" Rita asked.

"No, they are not. She'll confirm that herself," Helena simply replied. She stood up and left the mother and daughter.

Rita broke the embrace and she stared at Valeria, her eyes pleading for her to say no.

Valeria understood what her mom meant, so she smiled.

"I'll be fine." She assured her mom.

"I guess you're hungry, I prepared something delicious for you." Rita said, switching their conversation.

"I love you mum." Valeria said happily as she ran to the dining room.

"No..no..no, go take a shower first."

"Oh no!." Valeria stomped her foot on the floor and grumbled all the way to her room.

Rita smiled happily as she went to serve the food.

Mickelson's Mansion...

Ergon was sitting in the living room playing video games, while Sheilla sat next to him, fixing her nails.

"Where's Noah?" Shiella asked, but Ergon's attention was focused on the game he was playing. He didn't hear her.

Shiella hissed, she angrily took the remote control and turned off the game.

"What the fuck mum?," Ergon half yelled.

"Language boy, language!" Shiella scolded.

"So I'm not allowed to use the 'f' word, but Noah is always in his room ramming the hell out of every damn slut." He uttered it like it meant nothing.

"What!!" Shiella yelled in disbelief. Her eyes were almost popping out.

"Have you gone crazy? What did you just say?" Rita asked inquisitively, as if she hadn't heard him the first time.

"Oh, I guess he's asleep, because why not? The house is unusually calm, no screaming, moaning and cries coming out of his room. How many ladies did he have today? I heard from the guards that a lady ran out naked today. Was that true? You were at home, right?" He asked.

Shiella felt really embarrassed by his questions. The way he said it all made it seem like it was her fault as to why Noah became a sex addict.

She was taken aback for awhile, but she finally found her voice.

"I.. y..you should feel sorry for your brother." She found it hard to form words.

"Feel sorry for who?" Noah asked, walking closer to them. From the look on his face, one could tell that he'd just woken up.

Ergon stared at Noah, who was always shirtless as usual. No wonder the maids are only permitted to clean when their mum is around.

"Go put on something, Noah," Shiella said sternly.

Noah rolled his eyes at his mother.

"Give me a break mom, what's the problem if I walk around shirtless? It's my home, for fuck's sake."

"Mind the way you talk to me young man, I won't have you speak to me in that way. Use the right language when speaking to me, I'm still your mother!" Shiella snapped.

Noah sighed.

"Yeah yeah." He sarcastically uttered.

"Back to the question, I heard you telling Ergon that he should feel sorry for me, why should he feel sorry for me? It's not like I'm sick or something."

"Look son, now that we're on this issue, I'd love to say something, so please take a seat."

"You can just say whatever you want to say mom, there's no need for me to sit, something tells me i know exactly what you're going to say." Noah uttered with a wink.

"You know what, I'll leave you two to discuss, I'll go upstairs to my room and continue with my video game." Ergon interrupted.

He made to leave, but Shiella stopped him.

"Sit, Ergon, you should hear what I have to say."

Ergon wanted to protest, but one look from his mother kept him silent and obediently sat on his chair.

"Look Noah, Ergon is your younger brother, and he's only 16, so please, I'd prefer you stop doing what you're doing at home. Telling you to stop completely will be impossible. But the least you can do is to take whatever it is you're doing outside. I don't want you influencing Ergon." Shiella stated, as she stared at Noah.

Noah kept silent for a while. He took his gaze at his mother, and then at his brother.

"Guess you're trying to protect your favorite son. But as you know, Ergon is a smart kid. There's no possible way on earth that he'll end up like me. That'll never happen, and if he ever does that, I'll be the first to kill him." Noah said darkly. Shiella gasped, while Ergon froze.

Noah might be a jerk, but he still looked out for his brother, and he'd never want Ergon to end up like him.

"Keep my words in mind bro." Noah warned as he stood up and left.

"H..he doesn't mean that, right? H..he won't kill me for real, right mom?" Ergon shuddered in fear.

His brother's words really scared him, and Noah was always known to keep to his words.

Shiella fazed at Ergon, who still had a look of fear in his eyes. She didn't know what to say, all she could do was sigh frustratedly.
