A guy was removing a pile of books from his locker. They were a lot of books and he was finding it difficult to carry all of them. One book fell off the heap of books to the floor. Almost immediately, before he could even blink, Lucia kicked the book away as she walked past him...unknowingly at first.
"Ohh!", she bent down and saw the book, "Who owns this book?", she asked herself.
"Hey please! That's my book you kicked away", the guy spoke to her calmly.
Lucia turned back and saw a guy that made her feel irritated and nauseous. Not like the guy was stinky or tattered...you prolly by now should understand how she was, she hated people not of her class.
This dude saw Lucia was irritated after seeing him. "Just kick the book gently back to me...I'm sorry for calling you earlier", he used an apologetic tone.
Lucia smiled sarcastically and the guy sensed so. "What does she wanna do now?", he asked in his mind, becoming slightly worried.
"Okay then...I'll send it back to you", she feigned a smile. She strongly kicked it and it flew away, past him, hitting against someone else's locker. Some pages got turn out of the book and were everywhere. That was really rude of her!
"Next time...think twice before calling me", Lucia catwalked away to the cheering of all the cool students around. Like how would she ever fess up when she was always being supported by fans. I was just leaning on my locker, looking at Lucia angrily. My locker was close to the locker the book was kicked to. That dude actually was my classmate, Chris.
Chris kept his books back into his locker and closed it. He walked up to his scattered book and squatted by it, looking very angry and sad. I squatted by him to comfort him.
"Don't be mad buddy...that girl's insane. I hate her a lot", I said, patting his back.
Bruce joined us, very annoyed also. "I don't know why she treats us, the not cool people rudely", he began picking up the pages on the floor. Chris and I joined him and picked the pages left.
When we got done, Chris kept them inside the book. "Lucia will regret what she did to me", he said to us.
I didn't take his statement seriously. I felt he was talking about the Law of Karma...probably. Chris I knew would never be able to hurt a fly. All I did was to pat him at the back to cool down his temper.

"There's a small party tonight at my house", Lucia announced to the entire class, as she stood in front of us.
"Can I come along?", Mr Wallace interrupted her with a question, so joyous at hearing this.
"Of course Mr Wallace. I'll be happy to have you at the party", she smiled at him cheekily.
"Uhmmm...I won't be able to come, there was a happy event in my family yesterday", a nerdy girl stood up, giving her excuse.
Lucia didn't like nerds also. "Oh well! I'm happy you're not coming", she replied rudely but calmly with a smirk on her face.
The class laughed...I mean the ones Lucia was friendly to. The rest felt really bad for the young girl. I was taken aback when I spotted Mr Wallace giggling over it surreptitiously. What the hell! Why wouldn't Lucia on hurting people when even the adults found everything funny?!
"You knew what! You guys should just forget about it", the girl sadly sat down, broken down emotionally.
Because of Lucia's attitude, not only did I decide not to attend the party, my hatred for her was fucking increased to the highest point possible.
"Don't go to any fucking party of hers", something on my mind instructed me and I promised to heed to such instruction.

Back at home that same day...my parents were about going out to attend a formal ceremony...that was what I felt, not really sure where they were heading off to. I only assumed so because my parents were on formal outfits.
So back to the topic, they were leaving the house as I walked with them to the door. Dad opened the door and Mum stepped out first.
Dad stood by the door and made some inquiries from me. "Where's Sanchez right now? He isn't home?"
"He's home Dad...in his room right now", I replied with great certainty.
"What's he doing in his room?", he questioned Dad. I noticed some suspicion on his face, didn't know what the suspension was about.
"He's actually reading one of my books right now Dad", I answered with great certainty again.
"Oh yeah!", he smiled, "I'm done reading your Love And Money book, I'll like to read another one. That Love And Money was extremely awesome Jorge. I love it", he praised me.
Wow! Have you guys ever felt like a demigod? Well...I felt so that day when I heard those words escaping out of my Dad's mouth. The sky was just my starting point that day.. lol!
"Well...I've got another one I bet you'd love. The name's Casuistry", I tried concealing my blushes.
"Woah Son! Sounds intriguing! When I get back, I'll get it from you right?", he grinned at me. I nodded my head, feeling very amused.
The sound of the car was heard twice, it was Mum calling on Dad to come over. She just found the perfect time to end my wonderful moment!
"I'm coming in a sec", Dad said to her and then turned to me. "Goodbye Son...be right back" he said to me.
"Goodbye Dad", I responded to him. Mum beeped the car horn again.
"I'm coming honey", he said loudly as he hurriedly walked to the car. I closed the door and went to the kitchen.
I wanted cooking up some pasta to devour...I was really hungry. My stomach was rumbling. Pasta was the only thing I could cook perfectly myself then, so I had no choice.
I'd brought out the pasta I wanted to prepare when a thought came into my mind. "Go check out how far Sanchez has read your book", was the thought.
Since my bro had always loved reading all my books, I knew he was gonna say something nice if I'd asked him how the book was. And besides, after what Dad said about my book earlier, I only needed one more sweet word to levitate me in the air...hahaha!!
I looked at my pasta with a moody face. "Don't worry, I'll come back for you. Right now I gotta attend to my wife, my book", I said to it dramatically, kept it on a drawer and swiftly walked to my brother's room.
I was about approaching the door when I saw him coming out of his room with a girl, both having a playful chat. I was startled...my joy had to be short-lived.
They walked past me, not even acknowledging my presence. I wish I'd continued attending to my side chick, the pasta, instead of being disappointed for my wife's sake.
"Bye handsome", the girl opened the door and walked off.
"Catch you up some other time", my brother replied and closed the door. He turned and suddenly saw an angry me that was standing right behind him. He yelled like a lady out of terror. At that moment, I felt like rolling in the aisles but no...I should be annoyed, shouldn't I? I had to comport angrily, even when I felt it was now fading away gradually.
"Hey! Why you angry bro?", he questioned, composing himself after the scream.
I sighed and replied to him calmly, but still expressing my annoyance. "I told Dad you were reading a book of mine with keen interest in your room", I had to add that for emphasis, "I never knew you were boning a girl in your room all along."
"But actually...I did read your novel", he saw my doubting look, "Fine! I didn't...but I will. You know your books always stimulate the taste buds in my eyes", he attempted to make me happy with a joke. Taste buds in my eyes?! Where the hell did he get that stuff from?!
"Now I really feel better with those words", I replied sarcastically and laid on the couch. I didn't want to argue over it again.
Sanchez sat down on another couch perpendicular to mine. "Lucia told me she invited the whole class for a party at her home tonight. I wish I could come but she said it's meant for only her classmates."
The Lucia alone made me bored to get involved in such conversation but, Sanchez being my older bro, I had to show some reverence and reply.
"I know about the party, she invited the entire class but I'm not going", I replied levelly.
Sanchez got shocked at my words. "What the fuck dude? Why ain't you gonna attend? It'll be lit."
"I don't want to have anything to do with rude people", I replied, worried another argument would come up.
"I've never seen Lucia being rude. I'm surprised you're saying this", he looked at me with curiousness.
"It's okay bro. The last time we talked about Lucia, we argued. I don't want us haranguing each other this time around, especially because of the same reason", I said to him, making sure I didn't use a tone that'd offend him.
Sanchez understood me this time and I was happy. "Okay bro. We all have our different beliefs and opinions right?", he smiled at me.
"Yeah bro! We all have our articles of faith", I replied also with a smile.
After the short reign of graveyard silence, Sanchez uttered;"I'm gonna check out your book bro." He stood up and went to his room.
I loved the way I avoided an argument from coming up this time. I was feeling like a level-headed fella. A thought rolled up my mind, it was my pasta. That was when I remembered I was hungry, could now hear my stomach grumbling. I quickly got up from the couch and ran to the kitchen to prepare my instant pasta.
Jorge is finally happy to have been able to avoid an argument with his older brother...
Seems they won't quarrel over Lucia again...
