CHAPTER 6

I'M TIRED.

Bryan waked up the following morning, feeling so weak. He sleep again tired to the bone, he keep recalling what Michelle said, how can she call him her brother? Is he that bad for a boyfriend ?

Joshua knocked on his door gently,come inside. He said, Joshua walked fully inside his room. "Son! This is past ten and you are still sleeping, is anything the matter? ".

Nothing dad, I'm just weak. "Let me take you to the hospital, no need for all that dad". I will be fine, okay if you insist. "Someone is here to see you, who could that be?". Your mom, I don't want to see her dad.

"Bryan! Yes dad, talk to your mom and find out what she want to talk to you about ". Dad! I'm doing this because of you, I know son. "He made to stand up but he fall back on the bed, don't worry son". I will bring her here instead.

"Is it a must I see her today? Just talk to her, it won't do you any harm son ". He said and walked outside to call his mom inside.

He stare at his mother, she gently walked closer to his bed. "Bryan! I'm sorry for all the pains i caused you, your father told me how you always asked after me". He is lying mom, i have never hoped to see you. He said, knowing fully well that he is lying.

"Even at that Bryan, I'm happy I finally meet my son". The truth is, I never wanted to admit I have a grown up son. But sitting with you made me realize how wicked I am, she said with tears in her eyes. "I wasn't there for you, I did not stand by you when I should ".

"It had always been your father doing everything, I know I'm a bad mother Bryan but please give me a chance to make it up to you". He stare at her, why am I having this feeling you want to showcase me to the world?.

Ofcourse, I will love to do that. "To tell the whole world how lucky I am to have you as my son, don't you want that". I don't mom, I heard in the news yesterday about the kind of model they want to use. I know you will come here today, I guess right. He said, turning his back to the other side of the bed.

"Why is her son this stubborn? She only want to show him how much she love him". It true she had a problem in company she had been working for, yesterday came with a new challenge. They are looking for a model who had given birth and still looked awesome, they are going to use her son along side with her.

"But she was not after that, they can use anyone they want". She just realize model did not stopped her from giving birth, she should be happy for what she as not neglect it. She feeled really bad about it, that why she decided to come talk to Joshua not knowing she will meet Bryan at home.

"Here is her son, doubting her". What can she do to get close to him, she really want to spend quality time with her son. "Bryan! She called gently, why don't we travel out and get to know each other more". Bryan smiled at the other side of the bed but his smile disappear immediately he remember his father and Michelle.

"What about my dad? He asked facing her". He can come with us but truth me, your father is mature to take care of himself. I'm already use to him, I can not travel without his presence. "I will talk to him and I'm sure he is going to accept, okay he said slowly".

"What about his Michelle? Nothing will happen to her, she is a smart kid". I'm just going for awhile, he said feeling sleepy again.

"The following day, Bryan and his parent travelled out of the country". His mother was the happiest woman on earth, she feel blessed to have the most important person in her life sitting close to her.

She keep smiling at Joshua but Joshua keep giving her the "I don't want look", Bryan sleep soundly on their way to Italy. He wake up immediately he remember he did not tell Michelle that he is traveling.

He pick his phone and call her, she pick up immediately. "Bryan! I'm sorry for what I said to you yesterday, I'm sure that why you did not come to pay me visit since yesterday ". She said even before Bryan could utter a word.

I'm not angry with you Michelle, you know I can never stay angry with you. If you are not angry with me , I want you to come over to our place now. She cut the call.

"Bryan did not know what to do, how will he explain to her that he is already on his way to Italy? ". He decided to text his dad about the matter instead, Joshua adviced him to take the available flight back home immediately they get to Italy. "But what will I tell Mom? Tell her you have a business meeting to quickly attend that you will be back the following day". I love you dad, I love you more son.

Bryan did as his father instructed, he went back home while his parent wait for his return. "It was late in the night before he got back home, he went to Michelle's place immediately ". Michelle was crying, he sit quietly beside her.

"Why are you crying Michelle? I guess I'm not important to you again Bryan ". Have talked to you since, you are just coming now, it not like that Michelle, It like what Bryan, you can just go. "I'm about to sleep before you came, I'm sorry Michelle ". Just go, he moved closer to her and pull her close. He clean her tears, just know I will always be here for you. He kissed her lips softly and walked out of her room

Michelle stare at him till he was no longer in sight, did he just kissed her?.

The following day, Bryan traveled back to Italy.
