Chapter 2 Revelation

" No! No! No! Please don't kill me Noooo!"

" Isa! Isa! What's wrong? Whose killing you" Aida rushed into Isabel's room to find her sweating profoundly.

" Mom I had the same dream again, and this time a man tried to kill me" Isabel replied with teary eyes.

" It's just a dream, my dear, go back to bed am sure it's because of all the stress you have put yourself through that's why you are having this kind of nightmare"

"Don't worry, once you have taken lots of rest you will be perfectly fine and ok" Isabel's mom replied, and after hugging her daughter and making sure she goes back to sleep she switched the lights off and left the room.

The Next Day

Isabel's POV

"Today is going to be a very bright, wonderful, and joyous day for me, I will be going to the best universities in Mexico City"

" Oh! Am so excited, I've been working hard to get this scholarship and I finally got it, my parents and my friends are all happy for me and the woman I have become".

Flashback:

Isabel rushed down to the diner to eat her breakfast and after saying goodbye to her mom she left with her dad who is taking her to the airport to board her flight to The National Autonomous University of Mexico.

Isabel is from a middle-class family and a middle-class town called Colima in Mexico city the capital of Mexico.

Growing up and living with her parents she had a peaceful childhood.

Then everything changed two days after her 16th birthday party. She was watching TV with her friends when she suddenly slumped and fell.

They rushed her to the hospital and she was diagnosed with coronary heart disease, it was like a huge weight thrown on the shoulders of her parents, they didn't know what to do the doctor said it can be cured but they will need a lot of money before it could finally leave her.

Coming from a middle-class family her parents did have much money to start with and the cost of living in Mexico was very high. They had no option but to sell their house and Isabel's father's car.

Her parents used the money to pay for her bills and after some months she was discharged and said to be free from the illness. Her father later got a job and her mother became a businesswoman, though it was a hard lifestyle In Mexico living in a place where crime, mafia hoods, and trafficking is based. But it didn't stop them from working hard.

Back To Story:

After reaching the airport Manuel hugged Isabel and told her goodbye before letting her board her flight, as soon as the plane left, he got inside his car to return home but was surrounded by four black pickup vans.

They stopped their engines and the middle van glasses were winding down and a man could be seen dressed in all black from his sunglasses, gloves, and clothes, he was simply dressed as a spy assassin who was on a mission to kill.

" Why are you bothering me, I have left the brotherhood for 22 years now why then are you people hear?" Manuel asked the man. He first took off his sunglasses reviewing a reddish brown hazel eye just like Manuel.

" Long time no see big brother!" The man said smiling looking towards Manuel.

" Fedrick what are you doing here, who sent you to follow me did father send you?" Manuel asked

" Yes and no, he sent me to give you a message that you should come and see him when the moon is due, and for the follow part I just decided to follow you by my free will and I saw my niece for the very first time in 18 years, and oh my has she grown to be a very beautiful and strong girl!" Fedrick replied

" You better stay clear path away from my daughter or I will make your life a living hell! And why does father want to see me now after 22 years, am no more part of the hood so tell him am out" Manuel said in a stern tone.

" My oh my looks who is now a big boy, you've got some guts in rejecting father's message remember no one has ever done that and leave to see the next day but you are an exception because he is our father".

" Look Fredrick you better get out of here right now and leave me and my family out of any of Alejandro's world, I am no longer one of you I have a wife and a daughter now and I leave a peaceful life with them what makes you think I would come to see father again after all these years!" Manuel replied still either a stern face.

" You got some nerves brother, I will send your message reply back to father, am just afraid of anything that might happen to good old Aidan while you are at work or what will happen to Isabel on campus, but anyway it's your choice!" Fredrick said laughing out loud before starting his engine and driving off with the three other vans following behind.

" What! No! You people wouldn't dare I will not let that happen, keep my wife and daughter away from all your scandalous deeds" Manuel shouted back at the driving cars even though they didn't hear his reply.

He rushed home immediately to check on his wife, when he got there he discovered she was still ok he then calmed down.

" I think I should go see father know why he wants to see me," he said to himself.

Isabel's POV

I got to the university and as the name sounds that was how beautiful it was, it was Accommodating.

The school tends to all its students' needs in terms of their individual and general needs.

In other words, no student is left behind, the school does its best to provide a space for all students to thrive. This is good to use when you feel like the school did you some sort of favor.

The second thing I noticed was how clean the school was it was magnificently clean. I also noticed that the students I was seeing were all from the Elite class they were the rich types It was as if all the rich kids went here and some of them scoffed at me as I walked past them.

After walking for some minutes I then saw my department which was the computer science department. I was directed to my hostel space on campus, I was supposed to share the room with 2 other students, I already saw that they arrived before me and have already unpacked so I started doing the same.
