Chapter 5 Dinner with him

"can you please explain to me how that boy knows your name," maxwell asks glaring at her as they sat inside the car and catherine kept quiet not knowing what to say.

How was she going to explain to him that he had a one night stand with a mafia, how hurt he is going to be because she has remember he had been trying to have sex with her but she kept denying him saying they should get married first yet she broke that same rule.

They were just in front of her house but maxwell had stopped her when she tried coming out of the car.

"I just asks a fucking question catherine am sure you are not deaf," maxwell yells and catherine sign.

"I don't know how he fucking know my name maxwell I swear," she said boldly trying to avoid being suspected and maxwell scoff before gazing at her back.

"Are you sure?" He asks like he was doubting and catherine nodded smiling.

"Okay then I believe you," he said and catherine sign in relief.

"Okay sweetheart I will call you later," catherine said and tried opening the door but maxwell drag her back making her frown in confusion.

"I heard you open a fashion store so how did you get the money," maxwell said glaring at her and catherine gulp down nervously not knowing what to say.

She taught she just escape a big question with a lie but this is more way heavier.

"Hmmm....hmmm... actually,"

"Cut the crab catherine and explain to me," he yells in anger hitting the car starring and catherine gulps down tears gathering in her eyes already.

"Wait is it true you had sex with lucca Govanni?" He asks and catherine eyes widened in surprise at the question.

How did he know he had a one night stand with lucca.

"Is it true?" He ask again this time with a hard and catherine bursted into tears immediately.

"I am sorry maxwell, I swear I didn't want to do it but my brother life was more important," she pleaded crying bitterly and maxwell just stare at her in shock trying to believe this was a dream.

"How could you?" He yells and slap her making her hair scattered all over her face and catherine groan in pain as she held her cheek.

He deserves everything so she taught, but all she wanted right now was maxwell to forgive him.

"Maxwell please forgive me I didn't mean to," catherine pleaded crying ignoring the pain she was feeling on her cheek.

"How could you catherine?" After all I have done for you you still went ahead to become a slut for a night," maxwell said in a broken voice as tears fell down from her eyes and she bursted into tears again seeing her boyfriend hurt.

"I gave you everything, the only thing I could not do for you is providing your brother bill but I make sure I could come up with something to support you but yet you went to be a hook up for a night," maxwell said with sadness filled in his voice.

"I swear with my life maxwell I didn't want to do it but my brother condition became worst and the doctor said I should provide the money as soon as possible. I didn't want to loose the only family I have so I did the only thing that could give me moeny quickly." Catherine said crying bitterly and maxwell just scoffs cleaning his tears off.

"You know what get out of my car," he said and catherine sign knowing where this was leading to.

She knows he was going to break up with her but all she seek for is his forgiveness.

"Maxwell please have mercy," she pleaded with her both hand join together and maxwell scoff.

"Get the fuck out of my catherine else I will kill you with my bare hand," he yells hitting the car starring and catherine jerk up in fright before opening the car and she step out and almost immediately the car zoom off.

"Why me?" She muttered to herself.

She walk to her apartment and open her apartment before walking inside.

She sat on the couch and tears fell down from her eyes when she remember what happens between she and her boyfriend.

"Welcome back," she heard a familiar voice say from behind and when she turn around she saw the devil leaning on the kitchen door wearing a apron and catherine looks at him with hatered.

Since she met him he has always be causing trouble and she hate him.

"What the hell are you doing here and how did you get inside my apartment?" Catherine asks standing up starring at him with hatered and lucca just rolled his eyes.

"How was your date?" He asks in a mocking tone smirking as he walk closer to her.

"You told him didn't you? "You were the one that told him I opened a fashion store," she yells amd lucca nodded smirking.

"Yes sweetheart, I messaged him. I mean he needed to know that I paid his girlfriend for having sex with me and that I was even the first boy to get in between that sexy legs of yours," he said smirking and catherine slaps him immediately leaving lucca in surprise.

She didn't know why she did that but she enjoy it.

Lucca scoffs as held his cheek and then he smiles.

"I will pay a million dollars to have your hands on my cheek again." He said and catherine just stare at him in shock.

"You are insane," catherine yells.

"Of course, I told you already that you are the one that is making me go insane," he said and catherine sign.

"Now come here," he suddenly said and drag her arms.

"Hey you let me go," she yells but lucca just ignore and drag her to the dinning making her sit on the chair and he also sit beside her.

"I prepare something for you," lucca said smiling and then catherine notice a well cover plate.

Lucca open the food and the aroma of the food filled the whole room.

It was pasta and beef one of her favorite food.

"And I refuse to eat a food cooked by a devil like you," catherine said and lucca huff.

"You don't want to get me angry catherine so I suggest you fucking eat that food now." Lucca said his voice becoming hard and catherine gulp down in fear before taking the spoon dipping it to into the pasta.

She brought it slowly to her mouth eating the pasta and she could tell it was damn so delicious.

"Delicious right?" Lucca asks and catherine scoffs without answering him.

"I can see you are also stingy with complement too," lucca said and catherine hiss moving her hair backward making lucas smile.

He stare at her as she eat and all he wanted to do was to kiss her.
