Chapter 5 The clandestine

Diana had pursued them further into the woods through their scent. But she was too late their scent was gone and she had no idea where they were. She looked at her magical compass in her hands as it refused to pinpoint their location for the moment. She remembered the promise she made to herself that she would slay them all. The werewolves and the royal alpha werewolves then head back to the wine bar.

Grand Island City Nebraska State

"I wasn't stabbed, but I was able to pick up her sword without it hurting me, William was right when he told me from the afterlife," Courtney said facing John who was relieved and managing to sit up straight on the lounge. "That's good news Courtney," John said as he kissed her forehead.

"What happened?" Timothy an alpha and leader of the pack of werewolves under Courtney's command asked curiously. "Am sorry Timothy, the Hundreds of werewolves from your pack were all murdered during the fight between us and Diana," Courtney said. "She is going to pay," one of the male werewolves said. "Yes she would, we need to recruit more members into our pack," Timothy said.

"My siblings would be returning gradually as from next week starting from my elder sister and brother then my remaining three siblings would return finally next two weeks from now so we have time to plan to deal Diana," John said. "Next week is too far, I don't think you know who Diana is, she hunts and slays anything in her path," Courtney said. "So we don't have time,". "Yes, but for now she doesn't know about this place, so just rest for now," John said. "Yes, but she was able to find our place and killed my brother William back at Omaha," Courtney said. "Well we would be ready with the number of werewolves we have surrounding and marking this territory she won't be able to survive if she dares attack," John said as he hugged her and led her upstairs to the master bedroom meant for her.

Diana had changed back into a green Jacket and white trousers and headed back to the wine bar she was coming from. She met the man she was enquiring about Courtney still sitting down near where she sat. "You are back," The man said smiling at Diana. "Yes I am," Diana said as she sat down. "A bottle of merlot wine please," She said facing the Wine Staff. "Bills on me," The man said. "Thanks," Diana said. "You are welcome. Am Aaron, Aaron Benson," Aaron said offering a handshake to Diana. "Am Diana Johnson," Diana said as they shake hands.

Jacob rushed out of the taxi cab when he got to the airport. He remembered that he got a group call and a message from his siblings stating that they would all be leaving and want him to see them off. He reached the entrance and was stopped by a young lady. "Are you Mr Jacob," She said. "Yes I am," Jacob replied. Your family members said I should inform you that they have gone and would send a message across to you," She said. "Alright, thanks," Jacob said as he boarded a cab back home.

As Jacob headed for home, he thought about the way his siblings left without waiting for him. "I can't believe they were in too much of a hurry to wait for me," Jacob thought to himself. Jacob's face changed to joy when he thought that now he could bring Juliana over to their family house and they could have fun, eat watch tv and make love severally.

Aaron headed forward to the mansion Courtney was staying in. Has he entered the lounge room he greeted everyone including Courtney and John. "Am so sorry I heard about what happened how are you feeling now," Aaron said as he sat on one of the lounges. "Am better Aaron, what do you have for me," Courtney said.

"Well I met her, the werewolf slayer at the wine bar, the Diana you told me about and showed me her picture," John said smiling. "Really," John said curiously. "Yes," Aaron said. "It's possible, after all, I called to her from the wine bar she was," Courtney said. "Exactly, I was with her then, she showed me your picture about your whereabouts and I said I didn't know about it then when she returned I introduced myself to get then we became friends," Aaron said.

"That's good, get closer to her let's be able to monitor her and know what she is up to," Courtney said. "Yes, so I can finally have my revenge on the werewolf slayers since one of them slayed all my family members in Grand Island City,". Aaron said. "And don't get attached to her she has an irresponsible personality," Courtney said. "Never, I would never betray you especially after you saved my life from those wild werewolves that wanted to kill me," Aaron said. "Good victory would be ours at the end," Courtney said as she smiled.
