it is a beautiful morning in the castle, the castle is quiet as usual, each maid performing their duty wholeheartedly

the crown prince is seen moving around happily, With the way he looks one could tell he won a lottery but too far from it, he's going on a tore, to see his beautiful kingdom and his people

the palace guard is ready to go on a beautiful, adventure with the crown Prince, Kelvin, and some men are ready for the torn, they walk out of the castle into the beautiful village of orramander happily, expecting to fill there. eyes with beautiful sights and different shades of beauty

"greeting my prince" the beautiful maiden greeted immediately after she saw the prince.

"greeting beautiful maiden, how are you "

"better than yesterday my prince"

"oh good to hear, do have a fulfill day " with that he left with the guard.

Mr. Charles walked briskly to his hot with so much fear in him, wondering why the king spare his life and decide to send his only son to the castle.......he enter his hot looking very weak, Drake sight his father who was about to fall, he rushes to him surprised at what happened to his ever energetic, father

"dad is everything okay," he asks, supporting him to the hot.

"yes son, Just a beat of stress for the day," he said while taking a sit.

"it is just morning, and you are already this stress for the day," he said worriedly

"worry not son, for I will be fine in due time"

"Father, you need some rest, while I go to the farm too hot," he said about to leave when his father called him

"yes father" he turns surprised at why his father sounds a bit unease, with his eyes noticing the sack of potatoes on the floor

"Would you like to work in a castle?" Me Charles Drake's father asked.

Drake Hazel's eyes sparkled immediately after his father mentioned the castle and he let out a gasp.

"The castle! Yes! I certainly would love to work at the castle, it's intriguing, rather than locking my old rump in here all day."

"Look Drake I know how playful you can get, the castle is not a place you make flower crowns and chit-chat or perhaps jungle. A lot happens and you don't want to get caught jugging around you're supposed to work" Mr. Charles stated.

"Father, I know when to work and when to visit the juggle I am not a child.!" Drake declared dauntlessly, walking up to the stack of food behind his father.

"What is this?" Drake asked, as his eyes danced around the juicy tomatoes in front of him."Where did you get so much food, father?"

"I... Uhm... Ran some errands inside the castle today, and Uhm... The king gave me these!" The old man expressed, his fingers raking his white hair.

"Really? That is incredible! What sort of errand father.? For the king to offer you so much food. Just yesterday we were starving!" Drake said, pulling out corn from its sack.

"The food is not for my errand but you Drake!" Mr. Charles said.

"For me?" Drake gasped. "what did I do? And how does the king know of my existence.?"

"Now listen carefully drake this is a secret between you and me. The king has a daughter!" Mr. Charles started.

"A daughter? But I thought she died, everyone said she died and only the prince survived" Drake whispered.

"she did, but surprisingly she and her twin survived, the king stated that he's keeping his daughter hidden in the other castle outside Orramander, from bad people, and surprisingly, you've been picked as one of her loyal servants to serve her at the other castle." Mr. Charles explained.

"What? Me? I'll be working for the King's Daughter?" Rosanne's lips curved into a smile.

"Yes you will, and you'll be getting paid In coins too" Mr. Charles added.

"This is an amazing father, we'll become rich! The gods of Orramander are finally looking out for us!" Drake smiled.

"And... You'll be leaving tomorrow!" Drake stated.

"So soon.?" Drake said in disappointment

"The earlier the better and the richer we become, these foods are like a payment in advance and of course, you'll meet other servants in the castle, and you'll get to sleep properly and eat properly!" M.r. Charles explained.

"Can I tell Rose about this father?" Drake asked.

"Just Rose!" Mr. Charles stated and immediately the front door opened.

Rose walked into the small cottage, her eyes towering gon Mr. Charles and Drake

"Good day father..." Mr. Charles smiled.

"And how are you doing Rose?" Mr. Charles asked.

"I am indeed fine," Rose replied.

"And how are your wonderful parents?" Mr. Charles asked.

"They are unquestionably fine as well" Rose replied.

Mr. Charles looked back at his son and then at Rose

"I'll be heading out for a while, I'll be at Mr. Huggins'sins bakery if you need me" Mr. Charles started stepping out of the hot.

Rose quickly rushed up to Drake, she took his hand in hers and let out a smile.

"I just received the most outstanding news ever!" Drake squealed.

Rose smiled. "And by outstanding you mean?"

"Look at all these foods, my father brought all these from the castle." Drake grimaced, prancing towards the stack of food.

"Really? Tell me more..." Rose smiled releasing his hand

After giving Rose an earful of the 'good news his father had passed to him, Rose lost her smile, her back slouched from her sitting position.

"Rose... You don't look happy like I expected you to be." Drake said standing up.

"And when will you be back?" Rose asked.

"Oh, that doesn't matter now, what matters is that I get to work at a castle." Drake grinned. "Do you know how mighty this job is, it's way better than living in juggling like the abandoned shepherd"

"When will you be back, " Rose asked taking Drake's hand.

"I don't know when, but there's no rush in this Rose!" Drake smiled.

"I will surely miss you," she said sadly

"Will miss you also!" he said, his light brown eyes staring into Rose Hazel's eyes.

Rose suddenly lets out a sigh. "But you're leaving tomorrow morning!"

"Yes, the earlier the better!" Drake nodded.

"So I just have today to spend with you!"

"Rose! We spend time together every day, me being away for a few moons will not cost a thing!" Drake shrugged.

Rose quickly got on her feet, being the hard-working young woman everyone described her as she took her a lot of gut before leaning down towards Drake to give him a kiss

It was the first time she would be sharing a kiss with Drake, she have always been in love with Drake right from childhood, even when Drake never reciprocate her love

Drake quickly disengaged from the kiss, understanding what had just happened he get up from the sit and create a distance between them

"I don't think we should do this," he said

"sorry for that " she replies leaving very fast

"Rose..." he called but Rose ignore him and run away.
