And every Crescent moon, the king and queen managed to receive letters that contained information on how the young crown princess was living. She was growing up to be a beautiful princess just like her twin brother, she is just a girl yet when she speaks her words were clear and strong, two scholars were recently sent to the other castle to educate the crown princess on how to read and write, and the Queen was satisfied with it, and the king made a fine deal with her, allowing her to see her daughter, every day of the full moon.
The first time the queen laid eyes on her three-year-old daughter, she watched her from afar being impacted by the scholar beside her, she couldn't be more touched seeing how she was concentrated on learning so much, her bright emerald eyes danced around in excitement and her small hands tried to scribble something down.
The queen had no choice but to approach her.
It was the first time seeing her mother, and the scholar couldn't help but excuse them.
Looking both at the Queen and the Crown princess, their beauty, and resemblance were impeccable.
The Queen smiled at the crown princess, and she smiled back, not knowing why.
She had no clue it was her mother she was looking at, for the midwives brought her up to be the young girl she is now.
Unlike her brother who lives a life of royalty and loves her case was different, she was made to live a sacred life, and she is different from people.
"How are you doing, young girl?" The queen smiled.
"I am fine." The crown princess replied, and the queen smiled even more.
"Do you know who I am?" The queen asked.
The crown princess shook her head Negatively.
"Well, I'm your mother" The queen smiled.
"My mother?" The crown Princess asked, making the queen nod.
The crown princess said nothing and just watched her mother for a while...
And she finally spoke. "Are you here to take me with you?"
"You dislike it here?" The queen had asked, and the little girl shook her head.
The queen was heartbroken hearing that, and she promised they would be together someday, tears drop from her remembering her twin brother and how he is living the life of a prince, and here is her daughter Jacinda
living the life of a commoner in her fatherland, but she was helpless in this situation
"sorry baby girl, you wouldn't be coming with me today" some other time
"why, but you just said you are my mother" she replies
"I am your mother, but you can't live with us" the queen replied holding back her tears.
.
And every day of a full moon the queen would visit her daughter who seemed normal that she started to doubt if the so-called curse of Orramander was real.
The Queen would watch her daughter from afar before approaching him, though he had no one, he always talked to himself and kept himself busy with his unique way of playing.
The crown princess always welcomed her mother every time she visited, and he would spend the whole day with her mother and the queen still promised her they were going to be together someday.
Ten years passed and the king and queen agreed to bring the crown princess back to the castle of Orramander, to live with her. Her twin brother because she didn't exhibit or cause any catastrophe like they said the bearer of the cursed mark will.
Two days before bringing back the crown princess to Orramander, the king received a letter from the other castle from the Royal reporter informing him of what had happened the previous night with the crown princess
It reported that the crown prince had gone berserk and pushed one of the servants of the window from her room due to extreme anger and that the servant falling from such a high distance, died immediately.
She didn't do just that, that same night, she had requested a hot bath and when the servant prepared the water to be hot enough and compatible with the human skin, the crown princess requested it wasn't hot enough, the servant had to boil the water to extreme hotness that was dangerous to the human skin, but surprisingly the crown princess walked into the bath and didn't even flinch and then got angry again saying the water wasn't hot enough when the servant tried to convince her it was the hottest, she dipped her hand into the water telling her to feel it and causing her skin to react and burn. And after that night it was like a strange switch in her because she never smiled again.
She became aggressive and got angry at the Littlest thing.
When the king read the letter he head to the queen's Chambers to share the news with her but when the Queen decided to read the letter herself, she disagreed with everything.
"So what is the Royal reporter trying to say? That my daughter is a beast for getting angry?" The queen scoffed, walking back her forth in her room, her dress sweeping the floor.
"He's saying we should be careful!" The king stated.
"Careful? Of my daughter? I laugh not".
"Elliot Don't let your emotions sweep you off, she's my daughter too and the character she's exhibiting is just plethoric, she is just a twelve years old girl" The king sighed.
"So you're saying my daughter can't get angry? Like everybody else. You just don't want her back In Orramander" The queen yelled.
"Of course I do, but with what he did, he killed somebody Saphira, you read what the letter said, he pushed a servant off a window" The king sighed.
The queen paused and let out a sigh.
"She's exhibiting extreme anger and that is menacing" The king added, taking his wife's hand.
"I want to see her myself, I won't be waiting for a full moon, tomorrow morning I'll be leaving the castle, he's my daughter, I have to see to believe" The Queen upbraided before flouncing out of the room leaving the king in a confused state.
Immediately the sun rose, the next day, the queen set off on a journey to the other castle to see her daughter, she couldn't wait to prove to the king how the Royal reporters were wrong about her son.
.
The Queen fell to her feet as she stood in front of her daughter in her room and watch her stab her royal scholar with a sharp stake.
Splattered blood laid on her shirtless body and white britches.
The young girl turned to her mother with her eyes red, her eyes were no longer emerald but red.
"And why are you here, mother?" The young girl asked, giving her scholar a final stab.
"WH.what?..
The queen couldn't find her words as tears fell from her eyes, This person wasn't her daughter.
"My teacher was being a bit annoying, I had to make him quiet" The crown princess stated.
"This... This... This isn't right." The queen shook her head.
"Does this frighten you, mother? Because it sure is a wonderful sight" The crown princess smiled.
The queen stood up and shut her eyes, it was the curse mark. She's just twelve years old but yet, she has killed two innocent people.
:.
"We can't bring her back, I'm afraid to say our daughter isn't our daughter right now," The queen said to the king after returning to the castle of Orramander.
"I'm sorry," The king said as he watched his wife's eyes gather so many tears.
"Why us? Why my daughter? Why her?" The queen cried.
"Jabir is 12 already he needs to know about his twins, she is alive, but she lives as if she is dead" the Queen stated, crying.
"I can't guarantee anything about her getting better or the curse leaving her, but I hope she gets better, let's just hope for the best, and take care of the crown prince," The king said embracing his wife.
Getting better was an overstatement to say because as days passed the king and queen received letters containing horrid stories about what was happening with their daughter and how she was slowly becoming more of a murderer and a beast.
Unlike the crown princess, the crown prince has grown to be a handsome boy, he's always happy and cheerful which gives his mother joy.
"Good morning mum" the crown prince greets his mother happily
"morning boy, how are you" the Queen smile
"mum, I am the crown prince, not a boy" he started frowning
"you heard him right, he is the future king" the king chipped in
"Sure he is, I wish you become a great king" she prays as her. The mind drifts back to her daughter, who is turning into a living monster day by day!
The Queen never wanted to lose hope in her daughter returning to Orramander, but with the information, she received from the Royal spy sent to watch the crown princess secretly, the Queen knew, it was, for her daughter.
.
At eighteen the crown princess was already at an intimidating height, and many servants had fled the castle because of her ruthlessness of the crown princess while the crown prince is now a handsome boy loved by all he is different...from his sister, living with the people who know about the twins wondering
"The crown princess is always seen with just a singlet and a more boss he gets angry when things don't go her way, she locks herself in her room and only comes out at night, I never stood before her, but the servants who did all testified that, if you stand too close to her, you will feel the heat coming from her body, her eyes are not the eyes of a human, your majesty for I have not seen the crown princess in person, but was told her eyes were red and thicker than blood. For this is the beast of Orramander taking over the crown princess I am just a gardener at the other castle, but your majesty I want to live, I shamelessly fled the other castle to live, please spare me for doing something so foolish, I am purely a lowly gardener and have no right to flee, but your majesty, I wish to see the sunrise every morning and if I keep staying at the other castle, I don't know what the crown princess might do to me, for the other castle is empty, all servants had fled the castle, leaving the crown princess alone. Have mercy on all of us, your majesty..." The cry of a lowly gardener made the queen shut her eyes as the man bowed very low to the ground.
"You fled the castle without the King's permission and for that, you shall be punished, but for reporting all this instead of fleeing, you shall be banished, and as for the rest of the servants who fled without my royal consent, death awaits them.!" The king ordered in rage.
The gardener was taken away, and the Queen fell to her knees crying.
"My daughter "she was still crying, when the crown prince walk-in
" daughter, who is your daughter, "the brown prince asks taking them surprised
"my prince why are you here," the queen asks as she stands up
" mum" Jacinda calls his mum
"you are not allowed to come when elders are here" the king warned.
"Dad" he tries to speak.
"Go to your room, little one" the king ordered.
the crown prince turns to go to his room, his dad only calls him Little ones when he is sad or angry a look ok at things he is angry at or sad about, same with his mother
"My queen, do not cry!" The king consoled immediately, the crown left to his chambers.
"She's all alone, there's no one at the castle to take care of her, my lord she's all alone, we should send more servants to her, she shouldn't be alone"
"And let her kill them? Sapphire, I understand where you are coming from, but that girl is no longer who we call our daughter... The best of Orramander has taken over her and there is no way we can break that curse!" The king sighed.
"You want her to be all alone?" The queen sniffed.
"For loneliness is what awaits the beast!".
"My daughter is not a beast! Please!" The queen cried. "She doesn't deserve what is happening right now, even if it's just one, just a single servant to attend to her, then I will learn how to breathe properly!"
The king sighed not knowing what to say.
He pulled his wife in a big embrace and while stroking her hair he said.
"For everyone's lives matter, and so does our daughter's life, I can't guarantee the life of that servant going over to her, but our daughter deserves to live too. Sapphire for everything will be fine
