As I was driving, I came across one coffee shop along the road, I stopped my car and went in. The shop is a bit small and that was a perfect place to think rather than all those big restaurants where people recognize me easily. I walked to the table at the extreme and sat down, thinking of Morris, after what she did,she still have guts to tell me she hate me.......

At Mr Johnson 's residents.

Mrs Johnson 's pov

"Honey, are you sure Mr Lucas will agree to your proposal?", I asked my husband as we were eating breakfast.

"He will, the question here is "Does Dave love Amelia?"

"I don't know but I think they will come to know each other more and love each other ". I said

"I'm off to work, we can discuss that later in the night, but for now, you got to talk to Amelia to be very careful, she's becoming more saucy as the day passes by "

"She will darling, she's just a kid."

"I don't care about that, is that how she will get dave to marry her?, bye." He said and kissed me goodbye and left. I just ordered the maids to clear the tables and rushed upstairs to my room.

Amelia's pov

"Do you think our plan will work ?,"best asked me as we were discussing in my room. I sat on top of my bed with my laptop as usual while Doris and best sat on the cushion beside the window, Doris eyes were focused on her phone while best had a novel with her, I wondered what she learns from those stupid novels she reads all the time, sometimes I get pissed off seeing her reading it beside me.

"It has started working out already, just relax, this time, I'm gonna wipe off everything about moris". I replied her.

"You still have grudges against her, while she's not even fighting with you, "best said pissing me off, Doris just laughed.

"Sometimes, I wonder whether you use your head or not, you are just......., I don't know what to call you best, moris stole my man, she knows I had a crush on dave and she stole him, I will so deal with her."I shouted angrily

"Talking of dave, he has become a womanizer sleeping with women that comes around him, now that new girl is his target." Best said again and Doris bursted into laughter, this girl is biting more than she can chew.

"What's the meaning of that?, why are you insulting my man?" I asked angrily.

"Your man?, you said your man?, your man that I saw going over to the garden house yesterday, he was talking to moris, chill girl, he doesn't love you".

"Wait a minute, talking to who?" I asked her, seems like it was the only thing I heard from her just now.

"Moris of course." Doris looked on, I shut my eyes and opened them again, even a blind man will see that I have gotten more angrier than before, I need to calm down.I stood up immediately and rushed into my bathroom with my phone. I looked at the standing mirror, I could see myself sweating.

"You again, moris. "I muttered loudly. My phone rang immediately.i picked it up, it was an unknown number.

"What did you find?" I asked curiously.

"She wasn't in school and someone told me she is at Lily's grave since yesterday, I don't think she is going to be in school tomorrow. "

"Good. I will send you some cash now, but got to do another job for me".

"What's that?," he asked.

"The new girl in school, keep your eyes on her."

"Yes boss, sure". he said and I cut the call. I dressed myself and went into my room. I didn't see Doris and best again, they must have left. I just lay on my bed thinking of how to get rid of moris once and for all.

Dave's pov

"Sir, what would you like to take?", I heard the coffee attendant say, I looked up and it was she, yeah the cute dog. Her eyes widened as soon as she saw me

"You.?"We shouted together pointing at each other.

"What are you doing here?", I asked.

"I should be asking you that, wait a minute, are you stalking me?," she asked me and I started laughing, she's crazy to ask me that.

"Stalk you?, hahaha crazy girl, why should I follow you around, infact who are you to ask me such question?", I asked and she rolled her eyebrows. I just noticed she has this cute eyebrows too, she's such a pretty girl, I love taunting her, she's so beautiful just like moris, the first day I met her.

"Look, you are beautiful doesn't mean you are the type of girl I would love to hang out with," I said and I looked at her from head to toe and noticed she was on apron.

"Are you working?", I asked amused.

"It's non of your business fool."she fumed.

"Ava, come and help me with this," an older woman shouted, I looked up, it was a woman, she looks like someone I know, I can't remember where and how I met her, she so much looks young and pretty just like ava.But I think I have met her before.

"Yes mom. I'm coming". she replied and left immediately.

"So that's her mom, they even owns this shop", I smiled widely thinking of making it a routine to come here everyday. I kept looking at Ava ,she's beautiful and have a sexy body. Now what am I saying? 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

She came back few minutes later and said

"My mom has been disturbing me to attend to you, what would you like to take?",

"Get me some chilled drinks first," I answered and she left quickly avoiding eyes contact with me.

my phone rang and I picked it up, it was my father, he must have heard I left home angrily, I think the maids told him, I'm no more angry, ava just made my day without even knowing.

"Come back home young man", he shouted immediately i pick up the phone.

"I'm coming dad" I answered calmly and left.

Ava's pov.

I came back with the drinks but didn't see Dave,he must have left.

I've been disturbing Ann to tell me about moris but she refused, I mean what were they hiding from me?, or why would they hide it from me, since I will still be in school.

"This is the one of the reasons I came back here, so..........

"Do you want to know why I refused to tell you about moris," Ann asked

"No why? I asked back

"I've something to show you, follow me," she said and dragged me out of the class, I followed her to a very lonely place, I wondered if this place was part of the school. The place was so quiet and no human being was seen. It was only a building in front of us, it was dirty and look unkempt, probably it has been deserted for long.

"What is this place?," I spoked out.

"ssssh, don't talk," she said as we went nearer to the door, she brought a Golden Key and inserted it to the small opening and the door cracked open. we went in silently, everywhere was dark, i switch on my phone light, she collected my phone from me and went deeper and switched on the light.

A basketball court? It's dirty and dusty too. "What are we doing here?", I asked her and she looked at me.

"Ava,moris dad built this place seven years ago, she was the founder of the basketball team white with the help of Lily".

"Who's Lily?, I asked.

"I'm coming to that, I have more to show you." she went straight to the extreme part of the hall,i followed her. she bent down, I just watched her as she brought another key, I continued watching her closely. she inserted the key down to a small opening and it opened. I was amaze.

"Don't tell me there's another room down there?", I said and she just nodded. she lifted the door and there was a step leading down. she looked at me and smiled.

She switched on the light and I could see so many pictures, trophies, balls, jackets and snickers, I noticed one of the pictures was closed with a curtain.

"Sit," she ordered and I looked at her strangely. She ignored me and went straight to the table, brought out a magazine and gave it to me. I flipped into the first page and saw Ann, she looks so young and beautiful, then moris who was smiling so beautifully, so this girl can smile, then a girl, she was wearing a white gown.

"She's Lily", Ann said.

"Really?, the Lily girl?, gosh she's so beautiful."

"Yes, but she's late." my face fell immediately, such a beautiful girl.

"We were best friends, lily, I and moris. she was jovial and respectful. "

I nodded sadly and flipped to another page, it contains Ann, moris, lily and this girl. I know her.

"Is this not the rude girl I met at the cafeteria?", I asked to be sure.

"She's a very dangerous girl, we were closed then but not now, she's our greatest enemy, she's evil. "

"By mere looking at her, you will know" I muttered loudly.

"Yeah, she was the one that poisoned moris's mind against Lily, she made moris believed Lily was after her boyfriend Dave."

"Dave? "

"yeah, they were once lovers, moris believed Lily Was The evil one, and so hated Lily, she threw Lily out of the team and made life unbearable for her, it was later found out that Amelia was actually the bad one. That was the day Lily died. She died while driving to moris's house,it was an accident. Everyone loved Lily so much and we miss her.

moris wasn't herself anymore, she blamed herself for killing Lily, she went as far as to break up with Dave, she refused talking to anyone and even me, she resulted on being lonely, she abandoned the team and it was not heard anymore, Amelia created her own team and became exceedingly popular, and was respected by the school authority. "

"What about tomorrow?", I asked her.

"I don't have any idea, I will be watching only. if moris decides to take up the leadership and save it for the sake of Lily, it will be good. Come, I will show you where Lily was buried."

"OK," I simply answered and we went outside, we went to the back of the building and saw a tomb.

"Here", she pointed at the tomb. We went closer, immediately she stopped walking, I just looked on.

"Why did you stop?," I asked inquisitively.

"Someone's here", she said and walked quietly to the tomb.She peeped inside and whispered to me

"Someone is inside, let's go."She said and we left.

Moris's pov

I have been here for two days, last time I came was to tell her I broke up with Dave, now I have come with a different news. I sniffed and wipe my tears with my handkerchief .

"You remember when you suggested that we create the team? I agreed and we altogether created the team which was so powerful and we won so many trophies together. our team was heard and popular in and out of the school. Do you know what? ,they are trying to kick all what we achieved together out of the basketball teams. But Lily, why did you have to die?, why did you?, do you know what I have become now?, now I'm not ready to go back Lily, I'm fed up. I'm going to watch all our hardworks go down to drain. "

I cried more as I poured out my soul to her, I regret betraying her, I regret listening to Amelia, I regret meeting Dave, I regret being in existence, right now, I'm not going back to the court. I dropped the rose flower on top of the grave. I stood up and turned to go, I saw Ann staring at me. I ignored her and moved out of the cave. She went after me and called me. Surprisely, I turned to listen to her this time.

"Hi, "I simply greeted with my hands folded around my waist.

"Are you really leaving the team? are you really leaving what you guys tried hard to build?," she asked me, I just stared without uttering a word. She seems angry, Who cares?

"Moris, I'm talking to you,"she shouted.

"What do you want? ",I asked.

"What sort of question is that huh?why are you like this?, have you forgotten? have you forgotten how Lily sacrificed most of her time, auditions, careers even her parents for the success of the team, now you gonna throw that away and make it look like it was never created. why are you bent on losing to Amelia again?, you gonna regret it, I promise." She tried to go but I blocked her.

"I can't play with out Lily, if you're concerned, you still got the time, do it."I blunted out rudely and ran towards my car, my driver drove off immediately. I cried all the way home. I went upstairs, locked my room and wept bitterly. It's still fresh, it seems as if she died today, all the memories were still fresh. I couldn't stand it anymore, lily left me, Dave left me and now Ann?, I cried till I slept off.

Dave's pov.

I don't in anyway know what my dad is talking about, it seems as if he's speaking Spanish. What's he saying now?, that I should get engage to Amelia, what sort of stupid talk is that?.I, Dave, marry Amelia, I can't believe this. I laughed so hard that anyone who sees me would think I've gone deeper in madness.

"Why are you laughing?, you think I'm telling a joke right now or what? "he asked me.

"Dad, I've been a good son to you, I've done all you've told me to do, please do this only one for me, let me be the one to get a wife for myself, and besides we are still young."

"It's business son, Amelia's dad is..............

"Don't tell me that, what are you insinuating dad?, yeah we all know he's your business partner, must you use me for your business transactions?, huh, let me make it clear to you, I am not going to marry any Amelia , not now or in the future." I shouted and rushed upstairs. We are friends doesn't mean that we must get married, yeah I'm single but I still have feelings for her, I still love moris. Gosh!.

Moris's pov.

Right now, I'm at home drinking myself out. Today is the day. lily forgive me for what I'm about to do. I told myself.

Amelia's pov

"Do you think our plan will work? "Best asked me for the hundredth time today.

"It has started working, let's have patience. "I answered her.

"Are you sure?", Doris asked.

"Did you see moris in school today?", I asked them.

"Not sure ".They chorused.

"I sent someone to find out where she is, "my phone rang immediately, it was an unknown number.

"What did you find?," I asked curiously.

"I saw her at home. she has been sitting at the balcony of her house drinking alcohol," the caller replied and i smiled and ended the call.

"You See?, she isn't coming."

"You are very smart Amelia, you just succeeded in kicking the group out for good". Doris complimented.

"Told yah".

Ann's pov

Now the bell has been rung, and everyone seated for the meeting, I've made up my mind to take up the leadership, at least I will do it for Lily. Moris is no where to be found neither is ava.Talking of ava, she seem smart and have been into moris and Lily lately. But where is she now?, I thought she wanted to help.

Moris's pov.

There's traffic and I'm late for school, what will happen now?, I hope they've not started the meeting.yeah, you all might be surprised, I'm rushing to school cuz of my dad.

"Moris,moris?,"my dad called. I couldn't answer, I was so drunk.

"moris, just take a look at how miserable you are, moris.........

You and Lily tried very hard to make up the team and now you're gonna throw it away ."

"Dad, you don't understand. I can't do it.yes she tried to make it a success. She gave up her career but dad I can't do it without her."

"Listen to yourself, can you just hear yourself?, lily fought hard, she even refused to travel to USA with her mom" He stated.

, I could remember how Lily slept off while crying cuz her mom disowned her. I stood up immediately, I wonder how fragile I can still be after drinking six bottles of eagle stout. I rushed to my room and freshened up, took my car keys, rushed outside ,entered my car and zoomed off.

"Now what the heck is going on ?,I blunted and came out of my car, I met a road safety officer and asked him what happened.

"A taxi driver collided with a bus, now they are fighting. "he said

" Holy shit", I muttered and entered my car, parked it on a safer road, took my phone and locked my car. I ran off immediately to school.
