Chapter 6 ROSE POWDER

When this charming guy slowly approached me, I had a hunch that something bad was going to happen. The pleasant scent of his strong body wafted out. I could see my reflection in his beautiful amber eyes since we were so close.

If the person in the above circumstances were other girls, they would either shyly ask, "What are you doing?" or smack his hand directly. But I was not the type to act lightly, my tongue had always been unpredictable. So I said in a calm voice:

''I think they're enough for a week.'' My face turned cold. ''So.. there's no need to add more one.''

"What the...?"

Ryan was going to say something when he suddenly stopped. He shifted his gaze to the counter. There are a total of seven women. He smirked and chuckled. What kind of person did this girl consider him to be? He just asked himself. Although she covered half of her face, there was no denying that she had a pair of glittering, soulful eyes that, if he stared at for a long time, he would spiral deep within with no way out. Ryan whispered gently before letting go of my hand and walking away.

After he left, I gently rubbed my wrist and sat quietly in the room. Big Howl strolled in with a man a few moments later. As the fat man at the auction, he held a strand of pearls that he had just won.

"Impossible." He stated this necklet as he walked. "How can that be a forgery?"

"If it's all right with you..." With a professional gesture, Big Howl drew up his chair. "I happen to know an expert with ten years of expertise in this field; you may ask her."

I was the "expert" here, so I immediately bowed and took out a few fake papers as well as a fake business card. My outfit and makeup for today were all prepared by Big Howl. He hired a make-up artist to make me seem like a 40-year-old aunt. As I had planned, I gradually transitioned from astrophysics to pearl knowledge, the production process, and assessment. Everything went so well and smoothly that we easily tricked that dumpy man. The rest will be left to Big Howl after this man has listened to my representation. And I was confident that the necklace will eventually be dropped into Big Howl's hands for less than half the initial price. He truly was a capitalist thief.

I went to the restroom to remove my makeup. Then I came to a halt in front of the mirror and took a deep breath. The light in the bathroom was flickering to frighten people. The fact that there was no one else here than myself, although the room is spotless, added to the weird feeling.

Just as I was ready to go, the door burst open, and a large ''thing'' dropped from nowhere on my shoulder. But after a few seconds, I recognized it was a human, albeit he appeared to be unconscious. Cold eyelids and a large splotch of blood on the floor. His body trembled as if he had a fever. If it was another girl, she would have been scared to cry, but to me, he just looked like a wounded animal.

From my judgment, it looked like he was running away from someone. The person I just met in the chamber earlier. I sighed helplessly and made the decision. The priority was to get him out of here. I chose a narrow room hastily, almost like a storage room. His fishy odor of blood on my hands continued to haunt me. The footsteps came to a halt at the door. My hands were faster than my thoughts, and I was able to pull him out of the cabinet just in time. The sound of the two guys talking echoed:

"Where has he gone?"

"I'm not sure. But don't worry, sir."

"You can't be sensible once you've hit that powder." It's the most efficient of any I've worked with before."

After that, I only overheard the last part of the conversation. But I knew for sure what the other two exchanged. The guy next to me exclaimed, perspiration running down his chin and adhering to his brow. His shoulder blades trembled as if he was battling a bloodlust. The cut on his palm started oozing once more. He must have injured himself to keep himself sane. But it doesn't seem like this will work for long as he is still losing consciousness.

He had to have ingested "that powder." I was thinking to myself. They called that powder "rose powder" or something.

Even after the other two men had gone, I couldn't get out after a while. The ''heavy thing'' was still panting on my shoulder. I fidgeted with difficulty. The space between us has shrunk to the point that I can count his heartbeat.

I was doubtful before, but when I was up close and personal with him, I became much more skeptical. It appeared as if we'd met previously. This strange yet familiar sensation struck a chord with my sympathy. Of course, I have to admit that he is quite reserved. But he was still in discomfort since "that thing" had been pressing on my waist since then. I clenched my teeth, repeating to myself in my head:

"It's to save people's lives....It's to save people's lives damn it's to save people's lives."

I took a deep breath, directly grabbing the thing that was poking my waist a while ago. The boy let out a low growl but still obediently leaned against me without any resistance. His breathing was getting faster and faster. The object in my hand also started to heat up.

This was my first time doing this. I've never done something like this before, so I didn't know how to adjust the speed, but the other person's face was still extremely enjoying and excited.

"Hah...hah..."

The room was so closed that the sound coming out of his throat became more urgent, filling my ears seductively. His shirt was attached to the charming collarbone by the sweet.

After a while, his whole body trembled slightly.
