I scrambled out of my bed .

God I am late!.

I rushed into my bathroom and did my business.

I rushed down stairs and met uncle max seating lost in his own world.

"Good morning pappi "I mouthed and took a cup of coffee which I gulped hastily

"Good morning angel how was your night"he asked worriedly

"It was fine papi ,I am sorry about yesterday .I was just upset, it nothing you should worry about " I said and picked my bag

"I am totally fine"i said again and rushed out of the house.

"Bye!"I yelled

"Have a great day at work hunny "he yelled back.

I walked hurriedly into Havana highschool. Mr Brad the gate man looked at me with a raised brows

God! I hate being late and this was that guy's fault.

I walked into the receptionist office to sign into work.

Are you ok pammy "mrs Johnson the receptionist asked me

She had always been a mother figure to me

Yes thanks mrs Johnson "I said and headed towards my office.

Hey " I heard someone say

"Hello dee" I said with a smile

You look tired but ravishing this morning "she said and I giggled

"I called your number twice yesterday and you didn't pick up I had to call uncle max who told me you were sleeping "she said and I nodded looking into my syllabus

" guess who I saw yesterday?" She asked

" Frankestin !" I said laughing

" ewww! Not my brother in-law "diana smirked

Anyways Frankestin was her previous boyfriend who gave her a promise ring 5 years ago then travelled down to Africa. Had it been that diana was a girl like me , she would have been in a phycratic hospital but she was smart. Frankestin married a beautiful black jumbo with impossible curves while diana got pregnant for Scott Wilson Frankestin cousin who she had been screwing behind. Both were guilty so no betrayal.

"Who"i asked suddenly interested

"Dave,he was with kim"she said

Oh!" I mouthed

" Is there something you are not telling me" she asked

I sighed then told her everything

"Omg! No wonder they were all lovey-Dover,she even looked round and full (pregnant)"she gritted her teeth

I peeped out through my window.

I have missed everything, the door opened and I stepped out of the car

Get me a cup of coffee and tell the board of directors to assemble in the hall"i said

Yes sir" della said and went away

As I walked through the first floor workers who met me freeze then scrambled away in fear.

I have missed this" I said to myself

I sat on my chair and twirl around .

Come in " I said

She walked into the office and placed a cup of strong coffee and a doughnut infront of me. Just looking at the doughnut my thought ran towards Pamela

God!I have missed her.

Sir are you listening "della snapped and I glared at her

I am sorry sir , the board of directors are waiting for you" she said .

I walked into the conference hall the air there smelled fear.

Bunch of cowards" I muttered . The directors stood up to acknowledge me .

Millions of people all on my shoulders. The grandeur empire is a business empire found 60 years ago with different sector

Fashion,entertainment industries, hotels ,construction companies ,restaurants etc around the world .

That is why I mustn't fail ,no sector must fail

So each directors took their time explaining their idea and their budget.

It took exactly 2 Good hours and when we were done.

I was the first to leave the hall.

Della eyes widened but I paid less attention to her

Nonetheless I could feel her whole body tense with nervousness making me want to ask her what was wrong .

Karl soon walked towards us with his hundred watt grin .

Della was still having that aura around her and I wonder why

She isn't the type that fear anyone talk less of being nervous just at the mere sight of them . By this time Karl was already coming closer ,he was trailing steps and walking with a air of arrogance around him .

"What a joker " I heard della rasped out looking at my brother .

I wouldn't blame her ,what she said was the truth .

"Why are you so slow " I grumbled out

"Weren't you supposed to be in Barcelona "chase asked looking at Karl.

"Phsssft, arrogant as usual" Karl said and hugged chase who reprociated.

Karl was the only Grandeur who wasn't against him,infact Karl wasn't interested in the family wealth . John chase fourth uncle just disowned Karl for being a footballer.

"How have you been Kiddo, I heard you were almost killed and they even arranged a welcome party for you ",Karl said

"How,have you been brother congratulations on your promotion to PSG" chase said and Karl smiled his gaze was on the beauty in the front seat.

"When are you moving to Paris?" Chase asked
