Chapter 2 No.2

I felt my eyes drop as the teacher spoke something stupid .I hated history ....from the bottom of my heart .The bell rung and I finally let out a sight.

Finally .

I stand up and walk to my locker .2 days in this school and I haven't made a friend. Anything new there girl ?It took a month for me to make friends in the last school .

But then this happened.

I still don't understand, why does my dad accept so many transfers ....?

To get away from those memories?

He should cherish them ..not try to forget them .I heard whispers and giggles from the girls behind me .Well ....talk what you wanna talk about me ...i am not getting affected by that .I was pushed to the wall yesterday. But I couldn't speak why ?

Because I have no courage.

After mom died ....i was a living dead girl .The bell rang and I moved to my next class .

I heard the sound of heavy rain and lightning from the hall ways .All the students either went in there friends car or had their family member pick them up .I never called my dad ..i knew it would be a burden to come all the way here .His company is 2 hours away.

I decided to walk home .The rain finally slowed down ,i stepped out and walked to my house .

But just before I leave the school grounds it started raining heavily again

Dammit !!!

Not giving it one more thought I started walking to my house .

Looks like storm is gonna hit the area .

Well ...i don't care ...

The wind slapped my cheeks as I struggled walk faster .

I felt like an abandoned child on the road .

After 5 minutes when I though I reached my home ...there was huge tree broken in the way , the branches were pulled down with a tower and its cables sparked with fire, there was big commotion ahead Many cars and people were standing near it .Some of them turned opposite side .

There was another route ...but it was way too long .Almost 10 more minutes.

I sigh

Well ...the tree isn't gonna move ..so I had to walk more .

After taking the other way I saw a car slow down behind me .I increased my pace but it followed me .I felt a knot in my stomach as too why was the person doing so .The car honked making me jump .I look back to notice a familiar car .

The door opened from the driver's side .

"Mam ...sir requested you to step in , he would like to help you since the weather seems quite harsh "

"Ummm ...no thanks ...my house is just straight ahead "i refused

"He insists mam " I was gonna politely reject , but the back door opened .

A gasp left my mouth.

The man was the same guy who I saw at school .His sliver eyes made me weak .

"Get in ..now " he commands

His voice held authority almost made me shiver .

"Get in or I'll have my ways " he said .

Without thinking for a second I ran away but the thundering started and I shivered , suddenly a hand wrapped itself around my writs .

My breathing became fast as his stern eyes made a get in look . " I won't do anything . Its good if you get , the are fallen cables over the road , you don't wanna die ? get in " he said and I sigh .

My hands felt numb as the car started .His effect was too much to handle .

"What's your name sweetheart? " he asked .I felt myself shiver at his voice .He voice felt like it never could be ignored.

I gulped .

"A-Ava " I whispered .

"Ava ...pretty name " he commented .My name from his mouth seemed different.

"W-What yours ?" I ask timidly .He didn't respond soon .

I got embarrassed as looked out the window .After a while he spoke up .

"My name is Roman Anderson , you can call me Roman " I nodded .

My house soon came in view and I told the driver to stop .Roman stepped out as well I

I thanked him expecting a welcome but he just kept staring at me .

"See you soon sweetheart " his fingers brushed my chin as he laid a lingering kiss on my cheek .

I shudder as cold shivers go through my body .

Biting my lip I look at him to see his jaw clenched .

Did I do something wrong ?

His eyes were furious .

He gave me one last look before walking in his car as the driver drove away .I hope I won't see him again , he seemed .....dangerous? Yet I could still feel the hotness on my cheek where his lips laid .
