Chapter 4 School.

Sophia POV.

After we, well Victor got my schedule we walked outside and back to the parking lot. Adam just parked his jeep and got out along with Kyle and Sam.

Sammy said he'll go to see his friends wishing me luck on my first day. My schedule was handed to Kyle who just laughs before handing it to me.

"What's funny?" I ask curiously.

"We have the same schedule little sis," Kyle says with evil glee.

"Get her in trouble and I'm kicking your ass" Victor warns.

"Me??Neverrrr!" Kyle replies faking innocence making me giggle.

"Don't look at me, I'll hold you down while he kicks your ass" Adam says giving me a wink.

"Get her to class" he orders Kyle handing him my backpack. Before turning toward me.

"I'll see you at lunch baby girl" he kissed the top of my head before leaving with Adam.

Kyle took my hand and walked us to the first class, he seriously knew everyone since he said hello to way too many people, I felt like hiding behind his back several times. I couldn't go little in school, that would be really embarrassing.

We finally made it to our class, Kyle, of course, went to sit with his friends, they were all big guys with buff muscles, not as much as my new brother but still intimidating.

"I can sit alone?" It came out more like a question to Kyle.

He was about to say no, I saw it in his eyes but I gave him my best puppy eyes, and he sighs and hands me my backpack. I don't sit in the front, I prefer a seat closer to the window, away from most of the class.

A girl with black hair and black eyes sat next to me, even her skin was the complete opposite of me, we looked like ying and yang making me giggle.

I place both hands on my mouth, hiding my giggles, but it was too late she looks at me, probably hearing my giggle. Now she'll hate me or think I'm making fun of her.

"Love your hair," she says in a nice voice, for a second I thought she must be joking or being mean so I stay quiet.

"I'm Niti, you must be new," she says again with a gentle smile, maybe she isn't making fun of me.

"I'm Sophia" I reply blushing, why am I blushing. Damn my shyness.

"Nice meeting you soph," she says again and I relax. Okay, she's nice, I give her that.

The class began and I had to pay attention, some people eyed me weird, but I did my best to ignore them.

After the bell ring I got up and got my backpack and got ready to leave for the next.

"I got history next what about you?" Niti asks.

"Me too" I say shyly and she smile at me again.

Kyle came toward us, he greeted Niti, of course he know her too, he tried to take my bag but I kept it on.

"We can go to class alone Kyle" I say.

"Can't do, boss order to stay with you" he says before he placed a hand around me and the other around Niti.

Almost half the school eyes us while walking, I felt like crying now.

Kyle on the other hand kept nodding and smiling to everyone, who's his boss, I need to file a complaint.

We walked in the next class and we took a seat far away from my new brother. He acted the same until it was time for lunch and I had enough, I told my new friend that we need to get away from him.

"Sure, it would be fun" she said with a small laugh.

When the bell rang, we took off without him while he was busy with his friends.

We ran through the hallways laughing, she was right this is fun. I didn't have many friends in LA, and the one I had we definitely didn't run around the hallways avoiding my new step-brother.

I was too busy laughing and trying to catch my breath when I hit a wall, A ouch, should watch where I'm going.

"You okay Sophia?" the wall asks.

I look up and it wasn't a wall, it was my other step-brother, now I wasn't sure if this is Victor or Adam. I still had hard time knowing whom is whom between them.

"Yeah I'm fine" I reply taking his offered hand to help me up.

"Victor" Niti says bowing her head a little, so it's Victor who I stumbled up with. He nodded back to her before turning to me.

"What got you running like this baby girl?" he asks and the nickname make me wanna go to my little self so badly but I resist.

"Uhhh...we're hiding from Kyle" I tell him truthfully.

"And can I know why?" he asks raising an eyebrow.

I just shrug, I couldn't take being walked by Kyle for another second.

"Come on let's get you some lunch" Victor says offering me a hand.

We walk to the cafeteria and all eyes are on us again, I couldn't help but hide behind him this time, I didn't like all this attention.

"It's okay baby girl" again with the same nickname making me feel small.

"Why don't you go sit down and I'll get you lunch?" he asks and I nod yes, anything to get away from the center of attention.

He point me toward a table where Adam must be sitting, along with a red looking Kyle.

I dragged Niti along with me before taking a seat.

"That wasn't nice little sister" Kyle scold the second I sit down.

"Sowwwyyy..." I say slipping before covering my mouth and looking down embarrassed.

"Hey it's okay, just don't do it again" Kyle says offering me a smile.

I smile back too, Victor got both me and Niti lunch along with his own. I had a deal with Kyle that he'll just hold my hand from now on and I won't run away again, although it was fun.
