Chapter 3 FAMILY MEETING

"Nelson, I didn't know you were here either," Rosie stuttered when she saw her little friend standing behind her.

The man with athletic build answered without a facial expression. "Yes. I cancelled a business trip because I wanted to spend the night with my wife."

This took Anne by surprise.

The girl named Rosie pointed at Anne with her long index finger. "So she's really your wife? I thought she was just a maid claiming to be your wife."

There was a moment of silence after Rosie said that. Anne could only lower her head. She felt unworthy to be Nelson's wife. But, it's all for the money.

"When did you arrive?" Nelson asked Rosie changing the subject.

"I just arrived. When I heard that you were getting married today, it broke my heart. Because you didn't tell me beforehand."

Nelson did not reply to Rosie's reply. He immediately invited the girl to stay at his house. "You stay here? Sleep in the guest room."

Rosie, who was his little friend, immediately walked towards the guest room. Without being told, she already knew it in advance and even recognized all the rooms in Nelson's palace because she often stayed overnight.

"Herto!" Rosie shouted someone's name.

From the front, a young man with short stature like a dwarf appeared running in a hurry. "Yes, Madam. Herto is here."

"As usual, you bring my things which I put in the trunk of the car!" Rosie orders the man named Herto. He is Nelson's household assistant in the electrical field. However, whenever Rosie stays at Nelson's house, Herto becomes the girl's right hand in everything.

The night is getting darker. One by one the Nelson family who attended the closed party had returned to their respective homes.

Nelson glanced at Anne, and gave a code to immediately follow her into the room. The girl immediately stepped foot even though her heart was beating fast. She was afraid that the man would repeat their first night.

Nelson sat on the edge of the bed. He took off his suit jacket and was only wearing a tight, short-sleeved T-shirt. Showing the curve of his broad chest. While Anne was still standing in front of him with her head down.

"Come here!" said Nelson.

Anne walking slowly.

"You sign here, and this is your down payment for being willing to be my legal wife in the eyes of the law." The man gave them a piece of paper of their marriage contract and also a check with a fairly large amount.

The girl immediately signed it and took the check. "Thank you, Sir."

"In front of my family, don't call me that. Call me Honey."

Anne answered by giving a nod of her head in understanding.

"One more thing, from now on please be stylish with luxury. You must wear nice clothes. Don't forget to give your face a make-up look. I don't want people to say the same thing as Rosie said earlier, that you're cocky."

"Yes, Sir. I will start changing my appearance."

Nelson took a white parcel from his briefcase. He gave it to Anne. "I bought you this dress on purpose. Wear it tomorrow at the family gathering."

Anne accepted the gift and repeatedly thanked her.

Nelson also took out a black card from his wallet and gave it to Bella. "This is for you. It is a shopping card that is valid for life. You can use it in any Shop and as much as you want. Spend it for daily needs, including for your appearance."

Anne accepted the card with trembling hands. It was the first time she held and even seen an object that only elites like Nelson had.

"T-thank you, Sir." Anne stuttered.

Nelson immediately lay down on the bed wearing only his underwear. Until Anne accidentally saw something that stood out belonging to Nelson. Anne immediately closed her eyes and slowly walked back to go to the back room.

"Where are you going?" Nelson's voice made Anne stop in her tracks.

The girl answered very carefully. "To the back room, Sir."

"What is going on over there?" he asked again.

"For rest," Anne replied nervously.

Nelson patted the pillow next to him, signaling Anne to sleep beside him. Exactly in the same bed with him. Anne quickly gulped. She was very nervous.

"There's Rosie in this house. Later, she will suspect if you sleep in the back room, "said Nelson.

Then, Nelson closed his eyes again. The girl started to climb into bed and sleep next to the man who had just become her husband.

Nelson's eyes were closed, but he still spoke. "I didn't choose you wrong. You are still very virgin, hopefully you can get pregnant soon for me!"

"Honey! Hurry up, we'll be late soon." Nelson's voice called out to his wife. He was currently sitting across from Rosie in the living room.

Not long after that, Anne came out in a luxurious dress her husband had given her. The bright red mini dress looks elegant on her petite body. However, the make up she wore on her face was not neat. The lip color she used reached her chin. Not only that, the eyebrows and eyeliner that she uses are completely uneven on both sides. It made Rosie almost burst out laughing.

Nelson closed his eyes for a moment. He didn't think that Anne couldn't use makeup. However, he still had to defend his wife in front of Rosie. "My wife really can't use make up. Because she's used to using a private MUA."

"I just found out that there is a maid who uses a personal MUA. Haha!" Rosie said something that took Nelson somewhat by surprise.

However, the man did not heed what his childhood friend said. He walked over to Anne who was suddenly silent. "I'll call MUA personally to do your makeup, Honey."

Anne had nothing to do but be silent. She followed the rules of the game from Nelson that they must be intimate when in front of anyone. Although it was difficult for Anne to make out with a foreign man she didn't know very well. But, for the sake of money she must be ready to do it.

While waiting for about 30 minutes, Nelson and Anne went by luxury car to a family gathering. While Rosie had already followed.

In the courtyard of a skyscraper hotel, their car stopped. Family gathering is held inside there. Both get out of the car. Nelson took Anne's hand affectionately and whispered, "We have to look like newlyweds. We have to be affectionate!"

Passing the red carpet that stretched throughout the meeting room, all eyes turned to Nelson and Anne. Everyone knew that they were newlyweds. Some of them are happy, and vice versa.

From a distance, a middle aged woman with a very modern style walked proudly to welcome Nelson and Anne. "Hey, Nelson!"

"Hi, Shane!" Nelson returned the greeting from his aunt. They kissing each other on the cheek.

"Long time no se, My nephew. I couldn't attend your wedding last night. Since you know my business is in any country, I didn't get to see you." The woman named Shane spoke to Nelson, who was her niece.

"Yes. I know," said Nelson.

Anne smiled at Shane and greeted her. "Hi, Mrs. Shane."

There was no answer from Shane. She glanced at Anne with a disgusted look.
