Chapter 9 Eighth Chapter.

"Rhei, i think your boss is outside. I'll let them in-"

"No need Monchi, my boss is in a hurry. I'm all prepared already." I bowed and kissed Monchi's forhead, she extended her arms so I kneeled and she gave me my favorite hug.

I can't help my eyes to get teary, i will miss you Monchi, although this mission has no certainty, i promise to be back with you again. I'll be back alive.

"Ssshhhh, stop crying Rhei. You won't be gone forever. Go on, your boss is waiting outside, I'll be waiting for your comeback Rhei. Take care, i love you." She released me, i really get emotional in goodbyes, it feels like hell.

I used my hands to get rid of my escaping tears. Fvck this ain't who i normally am, wtf Ezekiela? You're so OA.

I composed myself and bowed again for our eyes to be leveled.

"I'll be back Monchi! I love you too. I will miss you" and i kissed her cheeks.

Gosh! Hendrix wtf?

I stood up and fixed myself, picked up my bag and went to the door.

When i went outside an old styled car greeted me with Hendrix busy looking at his watch. Wtf? Is he really in a hurry?It's still 9AM!

Monchi sent me outside, i was about to give her another kiss before i leave when i heard Hendrix fake coughed. Fvck you Hendrix.

I looked at him in my killing stare and started walking towards him, it's still early, gosh. Before i finally entered the old car i waved at Monchi and said "I'll miss you!" I surely will.

"That's enough girls." And Hendrix closed the door and went to the driver's seat. He immediately started the car.

This car is a shame! Are we in 1980s? Gosh.

"Stop it Miss Fuentes. You should be thankful that i fetched you for free." I just rolled my eyes at him, i can afford to pay taxi bruh.

"Girls." I raised my right brow, he got a problem with it? Tss.

"Wear this." And he gave me a blindfold.

"What for?" I still didn't accept the blindfold, i won't wear it duh.

"Take it and wear it or I'll do the honor" and he looked at me, is he planning to get us killed? We are not the only car in the street!

"Look at the street! I don't plan to die at a car accident droved by an addict." And i irritatedly took the blinfold and wore it.

Isn't he the angel i met at the cafe? Looks can really be deceiving. He's aura and mood now is totally the opposite to it. Is he bipolar?

"Are we not there yet?" I yawned, i sleeped in the middle of the trip. He's unusually silent, only the 1980s song makes the car alive. Is he a fan of old things? Is he from the past?

"We're almost there." Gosh, how many times did he say that? The trip have been approximately more than two hours! Gosh!

"Wtf?! You said that a while ago and still!!"

"We're here." And i felt the car stopped moving, finally i can stand, my b*tt hurts.

I was about to take off the blindfold when he spoke.

"Not yet, don't take it off yet." Huh? Is this a surprise? I hate surprises.

"Are you gonna bring me to my last destination? When i take this off, my breath will also be took?" He laughed, is he really bipolar? He's back in his angel form.

"Your so cute. Ofc not, trust me." And he held my hand and guided me out of the car.

"Are you bipolar?" He chuckled, gosh he really is.

We started walking and he's still guiding me, i don't know where we are, but i can feel strange warmth and ease in here. Maybe because of the aroma of fresh lavender with the balanced temperature.

"Walk faster Miss Fuentes. We'll never arrive there!" And here comes the evil form of Hendrix, again.

"Then take off my blindfold Hendrix! I can't see and i don't trust you. Fvck off." Gosh, he's getting in my nerves.

He got silent and continued guiding me, is he in his angel form again?

We stopped and i felt him behind me, he slowly took off my blindfold and i got blinded by the light for a moment.

"Welcome to HQ51 Miss Ezekiela Fuentes."

My mouth hang open, am i in a dome? I can see metal all over the place, lots of lights is attached in every side. It has up to three floors and the upper part is transparent, revealing the beauty of the sky. The all sort of color of plants around the side releases a relaxing feeling. Metals is hard but with love, everything melts, i can't help to get nostalgic of my experiments in my young days; Modern technology combining with nature.

"Mr.happygiver has a message for you." Hendrix said behind my back that pulled me back to reality.

I faced him with my usual expression, i can't show how amazed i am by this.

For the second time, i heard Mr.happygiver's cencored voice, still in a hologram.

"Welcome to the headquarters Ezekiela. At 2PM, Hendrix will send you to the place where your search will start. Feel yourself at home, if you have questions ask Hendrix."

And the hologram ended.

"Let me handle your bag Miss Fuentes." I just let Hendrix take my bag, it's heavy!

"I'll take you to your room Miss Fuentes."

"Kiela, just call me Kiela, Hendrix." He stopped and looked at me, his deep dimples met my eyes again, cute.

"Okay Kiela."

While we are walking, i roamed my eyes around and saw people in the same uniform walking everywhere, i wonder what's their job.

"Hendrix can i ask you something?"

"Sure. What is it?"

"What is this place? And those people, what is their job?"

"Curious huh? This is our headquarters, we call it HQ51, i don't know the meaning of it, just followed the people with higher level. Our work is to help people, we assess those who needs a hand and provide job to skilled people like you."

"Help people?" Seriously? It doesn't sound like it.

"Yes. We help rich people, they send us missions, all kind of them. The people in the third floor receives the missions and they pass it down to the people in the second floor, the missions is classified and passed to its specific department. I'm one of the people in the second floor. We then finds people perfectly fit for the job and invites them."

"How sure are you that those people would accept the invitation?" Like hello? It's an invitation from a stranger.

"We are 99.99% sure. We are good in picking people."

"Y'all are stalkers of everyone huh? What a 'decent' job." He just chuckled.

"We're here. Feel at home, you're free to roam around the first floor, only the first floor. Take a rest first. If you need me just press this" and he pointed the green button at the side of the door.

"I'll leave. Have a good time here Kiela." And he closed the door.

I layed down on the bed, it's so comfy! I roamed my eyes around the room, everything is still metal and high-tech too! Almost everything is automated. I fetched my phone at my bag and what? It's only 10AM? The trip felt so long, gosh. I still have four hours of free time. I'm hungry, i better check out the kitchen.

I'll roam around to find helpful stuff. There's more in here, there's voices calling my name, secrets waiting to be uncovered.
