Chapter 6 Took Her Virginity

Herbert's words made all the members of the Newell family look at Gerald nervously.

What if Gerald changed his mind?

Winnie's face fell. She pursed her lips and tears welled up in her eyes. "Gerald, last night was my first time..."

"The marriage will push through. We shall discuss the details later," Gerald interrupted her calmly. Then he stood up and said in a monotonous voice, "Miss Newell, please forgive Herbert for offending you today."

Seeing that he was about to leave, Winnie wanted to ask him to stay, but before she could say anything, Miranda shot her a meaningful glare.

Miranda could tell that her daughter was annoying Gerald. They couldn't afford to frustrate such a powerful man, so she put on a considerate smile and said, "Gerald, be careful on your way home. I'm sorry we didn't host you well this time. Please let us make up for it in the future."

Without saying a word, Gerald nodded and left with Herbert.

When they made it to the door, they happened to run into Sheila, who had come back from cleaning her face.

Seeing that Sheila's eyes were a little red and swollen, Gerald frowned imperceptibly.

Herbert noticed, too. He exclaimed in shock and hurried to check on Sheila. "Oh, my God, your eyes! Don't let that area get wet for the next couple of days, okay?"

Sheila nodded meekly. Seeing that she was okay, Herbert dared to joke, "Otherwise, I'll take the blame for scarring a pretty girl's face."

Gnashing her teeth, Winnie watched as Herbert cared about Sheila.

Why?!

Why did men always want to protect Sheila?

How could she be inferior to such a lowly bitch?

"It's late. We should get going," Gerald reminded Herbert, seeing that the latter still wanted to say something.

For some reason, he didn't like seeing Sheila getting close to other men, even if it was his own brother.

The Lamont brothers left, and Enoch went to see them off. When the men were gone, Winnie could no longer hold back her anger. She raised her hand to slap Sheila, but Miranda promptly stopped her.

"Mom!" she whined.

"Don't you know that it isn't a right time and place to teach her a lesson? If anyone sees you slap Sheila and tells your father, he'll scold you again."

Winnie gritted her teeth and glared at Sheila murderously. After a long time, she withdrew her hand and turned around indignantly.

Sooner or later, she would kick this slut out of the Newell family.

Meanwhile, when the two brothers got inside their car, Herbert turned to look at his brother incredulously. "Gerald, are you really going to marry Winnie?"

"I was the one who took her virginity."

Herbert pursed his lips. Since when did his brother become so responsible?

He sighed and muttered, "But that pretentious woman doesn't deserve you at all. I think you're better off marrying Sheila."

The docile adopted daughter?

Gerald's grip on the steering wheel tightened subconsciously, but he didn't say anything. He seemed to be deep in thought.

As soon as Sheila got home, Winnie stopped her by the door.

Sheila stiffened and knew that she was doomed.

Today, she had inadvertently humiliated Winnie, so it was to be expected that Winnie wouldn't let her go so easily.

Biting her lower lip, Sheila followed Winnie to the bathroom and broke into a cold sweat.

As expected, as soon as she arrived, Winnie grabbed her by the hair and slammed her face against the bathroom mirror.

With a ferocious look on her face, Winnie pressed Sheila against the mirror and said coldly, "You bitch, do you think that you've gotten away with everything just because the Lamont brothers protected you today?"
