Chapter 5 SCHOOL RESUMPTION

The holiday only stand for three weeks and all the whole students report back to school for second term. Adeola mum ask her to bring her list of things she needed for school resumption. School start early Monday on the month of july, Adeola mum followed her to school to see her class teacher for a brief discussion, the conversation was clo wise on Adeola and her studies, the class teacher started that , she is a slow learner and she more of extra coach and going for counselling period during school hour.

She follows the statement saying that counselling section start for short break tomorrow, her mum felt relieved to depart. Adeola started the counselling section during break which her favourite friend Damola accompanied her. And all the second term section went on and on. Until an evening bade had a quarrel with Adeola and the fight leads to insult where by she use her predicament ti reel her, she cried, then Damola said to why will you ever insult her with that, that's bad why cant use something else. That ended the friendship between her and bade.Tge four of them seperated and they pick themself two two, Bade and tope started working together while Damola and Adeola picked themselves. All through the second term they stop sitting together and the whole class wonder what happens between. Although her resuit for 2nd term improve a bit but not too. Damola is a faithful friend despite the fact the love each other. While in other hand bade and tope grow wings to be the most sophisticated, and althrough they mingle with different kinds of boys.Now their 3rd tern section comes in a twinkle of eye, where upright and have different subject thought by their teachers in different ways. Damola teaches adeola any subject there tbisught in class the friendship is like a love of a dove birds. At the end of the section for jss1 she was given untrial promotion to the next class. Her mum dont know what to do again she felt the next thing to take her too is pastor for a deliverance. Her mum took her to family friend pastor and told her everything about her daugther especially her studies, The woman look at her mum in her face and say to her, just be patience woth she is going to be a great child. Her mum look solely and and make a slow sound with her mouth. But you will bring her here for three days fasting and prayer deliverance. Adeola look in distress, why will i skip food for three days. Her mum keep her into fasing and prayer for 3 days and prayer went in aware. Still Adeola, resume JSS2 with untrial promotion. The jss2 was quite different because she remain very gentle while she move around with friend Damola, her mum told her things she needs and what she must not. Here they have another class teacher for the jss2 he is uncle laye, who beat the hell out of any sturborn students in class. The frist rule is that the class must be clean evertime, any one refuses to do their class work or sweep at his own time will award a beaten. Everyone all fear him. There was time the school set up a competition which must be anchor by eavh student in jss2. Damola was choosen. which is Adeola friend, she us one of the most bright among thestudent in class. she was choosen with some others student in class jss2, which the school bus carried them for that competition, The topic for the comptetion is "Nigeria my dear country" which every one of them must talk about. Any student which represnt their school ver well will takr trophy fir tge school. The compettion, went on and on and Damolatook the overall position which makes alk the student to jubilant that their school. Adeola was given a Queenie, welcome back to the school foe winning. Adeola was proud of her friend, she was given a reorganisation at the assembly the second day while the student all shout and hail her for joy. she is shy shine girl who don't like crowd.

one day Adeola home economics subject teacher came to class and gave them a turorial on how to bake, although Adeola can cook well because her mum teaches her how to cook.As the explination is going on, she recall the way her sister teaches get during the holiday period. After the tutorial, she took them to lab and ask them to do exactly what she thought them. Every body get busy with there own. Adeola was happy doing it because its what she can do very well. At the end of it all, the subject teacher taste everbody meat pie, het conclusion wss that Adeola have the best meat pie, she said good. The whole class screamed and went to hug her. she was happy atleast they know her to be good at something, immediately she got home, she broke the news to her mum. and they merry together. Bade has turnout to be different girl. Damola and adeola called her to talk about her kife styke of following boys and all. adeola said to them, don't disturb be every o e choose what they want. At least my new friend are not complaning, so who are you too. dont tell me this. immediately they heard this they walk away from her. And face their own life. The section running out Adeola, improve a bit this time and came 25th position.
