Chapter 6 AFTER 1.5

He pushes Edward's body away at him and sit's in the middle of the road, crying as the moon and star soar the sky, the road is peaceful yet sad the cold wind sways his dark brown hair. Nathan sat on the road for an hour crying, hitting his head.

He stands up and grabs his father's shotgun and Glock pistol. Nathan counts the bullet of the guns starts with the small magnum.

The small magnum has only one bullet left, the Glock pistol and shotgun are out. He starts walking towards the new market. He notices that military soldiers are staying at the gas station knowing that his father is right.

He hid in the burnt car while he watched the soldiers," Captain George, it seems Lieutenant Edward will not arrive," said a random soldier leaning on one of the gasoline pumps.

Captain George is sitting on a crate with a cigarette in his mouth; he has a mustache on his upper lips that is wide towards the corner of his mouth. His hairstyle is flat on top and short at the side the color of his hair is white representing his mid-fifties age, and his grey eyes are hooded yet fierce and strict, his body is well built for a fifty-six-year-old man.

While Nathan watches from afar a random man runs for help carrying his daughter," Help!" he said with a teary look.

"Hold!" shouts the soldier.

"Please, I need your help, my daughter is-" the man's words cut off as the soldier replied with a strict look. "Is she bitten?" asks the soldier bluntly while aiming a rifle at the random man.

The man looks tense and replied," No she's wounded, please,"

Captain George throws his cigarettes and blows the smoke in his mouth," I'm sorry sir, but we can't help you we have strict orders," Captain George looks at the man with a remorseful face.

"Please, please, she needs help," stated the man with an anxious face.

"Captain, what should we do," asks the soldier again with fierce eyes.

"Hold it, corporal, sir we have strict orders not to bring any random people on our chopper. If I have the authority to make it, I will easily allow it, but I'm afraid I can't," said Captain George while he put his hands in the hair.

"You have the authority," said the random man with a furious look on his face.

"Captain," said the soldier as he aimed the gun at the random man, his face is tense.

The Civilian pulls out the gun and points at Captain George," You all have the authority!" The Civilian shouts the soldier points at the man at gunpoint." You all have! You fucking vermins, the world is ins fucking chaos. Instead of saving innocent people, you choose who to live and who to die, how fucking unfair is that!"

"Sir put the gun down, or we will shoot," said the soldier aiming his rifle at the man.

"Fuck you," said the random man as he spits at the soldier.

The civilian aims his pistol in the air and shoots two times," How about that, those fucking freaks will come here, and we will all fucking die, now you assholes start the fucking chopper and get me and my daughter here!"

Her daughter wakes up growling as the man gets bitten on the neck." Captain!" the soldier shouts." Holy Shit! Let's go!" the soldier shoots the man and her daughter, and they heard a loud screech from afar notices a horde is coming right through them. The chopper propeller starts spinning." Goddamit, Edward, where the fuck are you!" Captain George shouts as he sits on the chopper.

Nathan looks from afar as he sees a hundred deranged people running towards the gas station, he runs with a nervous face he jumps on a dumpster and hides from there.

Day 1

Edward and Helen stand in the middle of the road as Nathan, aiming at them at gunpoint. He screams as he pulls the trigger. It was a dream he opens his eyes and his heartbeat rashly, he peeks on the dumpster and the horde is gone, the reek of dirt and blood now felt normal to him, as he exits the dumpster. His eyes are dead lifeless as his movement; he scavenges some food on a supermarket.

As he entered it's was empty most of the shelves, but he notices there is food that fall to the ground most of them are canned. As he picked them up, he saw a man headless the remaining of his head is splatter on the floor he looks perplexed, not scared anymore while putting the canned food in his pockets, he moves away and opens the restroom.

As he gazes from the mirror, his charmful smile diminishes only a plain and emotionless man standing in the mirror. While he glances through the mirror, his other-self smiles, and slowly pulls his small magnum, and points it on his head. The magnum clicked as his mind clicked it's all in his imagination.

On the way out, he notices a shovel. He grabs it and walks his way to the crash of his parents. He pulls them out and starts digging their graves. He pulled the branches of the trees and tied them up to create a cross.

He buried them at the side of the road of the crash site; he sat there the whole day peacefully while eating the canned food.

Day 2

He goes back to the city, the city is peaceful yet dangerous as one loud noise can attract a horde he uses narrow streets and small buildings to cross the city while he scouts at a small store. A man smirked with beef jerky on his mouth, walking out holding a baseball bat that has nails on it, and then another man exited it holding a rifle.

They are dirty and bloody, and menacing, while Nathan watches them from afar, he saw a lone survivor walking with a backpack. The two men standing in the store notices the lone survivor.

The lone survivor run and the two men in the store chase him," Come here!" they shout with enjoyment. Venture deeper until he found a place to sleep in a small abandoned apartment, the windows are barricaded, but he found a small door at the side of the street he crawled and rest there for a while.
