Chapter 5 Episode 4

Later that day William insisted on taking me home I couldn't refuse him but instead of showing him the direction of my home I took him to Nora's house. On getting there we saw Nora fetching water immediately she saw me she ran to me and hugged me soon she started bombarding me with questions I just replied to her that I'll explain later.

She turned and saw William than she whispered to me "wow hailë who is that cute guy at your back ?" I turned and saw will staring at me, I blushed and cleared my throat, and then I introduced them to each other after some pleasantries btw them Nora invited will in but he politely rejected her invite saying he had somewhere to go on hearing back this I became very sad for no reason but I shrugged it off and waved him farewell.

After a day's rest, I continued my Hawking business (since my stepmom refused to assist me with my enrollment fee I started Hawking and doing minor jobs). Within two weeks William and I met we became best of friends that wherever one was the other must be there. At home whenever I come back home my stepmom continues to harass and insult me, even when I can report to her how her son tried to rape me she called me a liar and that I was the one who seduced her son and wanted to use him for rituals but I failed, she even beat me for reporting her son and even after thing she wouldn't let me eat she will hide the pot in her room.

One day, when I went to my savings box I found out that some money was taken from it, I went to my stepbrother and asked if he has taken any money, but he denied it and went to report to his mom that I called him a thief, my stepmom became angry, she beat me up and drove me out of the house that night and I knew Nora traveled and wasn't around so I had nowhere to stay that night as I was wandering about I saw some gang of boys smoking as I was about to leave they all surrounded me, I pleaded with them not to harm me but to no avail, one of them picked me up, placed me on his shoulder and started walking towards an uncompleted house structure, I began to scream and shout for help seeing this one of the boys use on a handkerchief to close my nose and I lost consciousness.

I woke up the next morning in an unfamiliar room,on a bed I turned and saw someone sleeping on same bed as I almost screamed but calmed down when I saw it was Will (William) my hands soon started itching me wanting to caress his face but I stopped halfway when the memories of last night came flashing back "was will one of the guys who wanted to rape me,is he dangerous,how and where is this place??"this were questions running through my head I quickly withdrew my hands and quietly stood up but I found no sore ache on any part of my body and I was confused cos according to novels and movies when a girl is raped she feels pains all over her body and most especially when the girl is a virgin and taken roughly I remembered the gang was made up of at least eight boys "or is will their master and he told them he wanted me for only himself,did he really take my cherry"this were the thought going through my head and as if sensing my restlessness wïll opened his eyes and I blushed on seeing him awake.

"Good morning hailë" he greeted in his hoarse sexy voice, he stood up and walked towards me touching my head "how are you feeling?" I blushed and told him "I'm fine but I will how did I get here and please where are we because the last thing I remembered was being carried by a boy on his shoulder into an uncompleted house," I said this a little shy and worried

"Um don't worry, I was passing by and saw a girl being carried into an uncompleted building not even realizing it was you that was being carried I rushed to help the damsel in distress, and after I taught them all a little lesson they all scurried away, I took u to Nora's house but no one was home and since it was late I had no other option than to bring u to my home, sorry it's not properly furnished and it's not too large but please do feel at home," he said this and held my hand and led me to a chair where he said I should sit that he was going to prepare breakfast.

Later that day I went back home on getting home I heard the moans and groans of a male and female I knew the voice of the male was Xavier, hearing this I was shocked to know that Xavier could bring and have sex with the girl in his father's house I shrugged off my shoulders and walked to my room.

On the day of the deadline for the enrollment, I went to the principal's office to beg him to give me more time to pay my enrollment fee but to my surprise, I was told my enrollment fee had been cleared up by a good Samaritan I was so happy and asked for the person's address but I was told that the person doesn't want me to know he's identity although I was suspicious and surprised I was happy, I told the principal to help me send my appreciation to the good Samaritan.

That day when I got home I went straight to William's place of work (he worked as a clerk in a little business shop) and I announced to him what transpired at school, he was so happy and assured me of having a little party celebration on my behalf I was so happy that I didn't know when I hugged him and smashed my lips with his, at first the kiss was normal but soon it deepened with each of us trying to claim each other lips with our affections for each other after some while we broke away from the kiss I blushed and quickly ran away.

That night I couldn't sleep I was restless only thinking of how wïll lips were soft, how I felt when I kissed him and how he stared at me with a strange but caring expression.
