Chapter 5 Lake city

"I am coming with you" Logan found himself saying.

"Wh....what" Felix stuttered with shock.

Felix couldn't help but to think that he imagined Logan saying those words until he saw the serious glare Logan gave him.

"Is there a problem?" Logan asked still glaring at Felix seriously.

Felix gulped.

He found it strange but he thought that it was best that he didn't say anything. He was leaving his home for the first time.

"Why?" He asked Logan which made him shocked. His mind and body weren't going together again. His wolf growled as his mind fought with him.

Logan leaned his face close to Felix. Their noses were almost close to each other and their closeness made Felix forget to breath.

"I want to know who you are to me....if you are truly my mate or not" Logan told him.

Felix heart sank.

The word "who you are to me " ate him up.

He knew that Logan was his mate as long as he could remember. He always wanted Logan by his side and wanted to embrace him and all that.

Logan brought him up in strong ways, Logan was the one who was with him when he shifted into a wolf for the first time, Logan taught him to walk, hunt and so on but he knew that Logan was only doing all that because of their betrothal.

Felix knew the reason of their bethrotion but didn't go deep as it didn't affect him in any way. He hadn't witness a battle nor had he ever seen dead bodies. He had always witnessed peace as he was always safe except from when he went to steal things and almost got into fights. Politics between his packs and other packs were none of his business. He didn't want responsibility. He knew his pack and Logan pack was powerful and that they were from royal blood.

Logan moved away from the blue eyed puppy whose mind had wandered.

He knew what was coming, he had to protect the blue eyed puppy. The Aries wolf pack must have made peace with the Venice wolf pack but they didn't with other packs because they only saw Venice pack as their true and strongest enemy so the next Alpha was in grave danger. Brandon didn't think much about this, he just wanted his son to stay away from Logan, no one would expect that Logan would go with Felix.

When they arrived at the airport, Felix inhaled deeply as he stared at the vast beautiful city that he had left. His vision zoomed to his home. He quickly cut his vision and sighed.

"It will be okay, don't worry" Logan told him without looking at him, he was staring at the clear blue sky.

"Where are we going exactly?" Felix asked curiously.

He only knew that his father took care of everything but he didn't know his destination.

"Lake city" Logan answered and looked at the curious blue eyed puppy.

"Its far away from our country " Logan added.

Valerian was a hidden country yet it was big name and the country of werewolves. Though, werewolves were all over the world, Valerian was special and ancient but it evolved the more werewolves and humans in the country evolved. Werewolves were more than that humans and the humans who lived here were descendants of some humans who made alliance centuries ago with the werewolves. Valerian was a paradise, tourists weren't even allowed into the country and the werewolves here weren't like the others.

It was a private flight which meant that Felix and Logan were the only ones the the huge aeroplane and a few servants.

Felix was playing video games on his phone while Logan had dozed off while sitting at the opposite line of chairs.

Felix stopped his game and breathed deeply. He was going to live a fun life not a boring one. He stood up and walked towards the sleeping gorgeous dark angel. He looked so peaceful that Felix couldn't help but to smile.

Logan treated him like the one he cared about but he wanted love and affection from him. He realised that Logan didn't really feel love and affection to him the day Logan left him without telling him and he couldn't follow because Brandon banned him to.

He bit his lips and sighed.

"Why are you staring blue eyed puppy?" Logan suddenly asked.

Felix heart skipped a beat.

Ever since Logan came back, he didn't know how many times his heart had skipped a beat.

He wanted to move away put Logan was fast to grabbed his arm even eyes closed.

Felix swallowed hard startled.

Logan opened his eyes which sparkled.

"I...i...sorry" Felix stuttered nervously and found himself apologising.

"It hasn't been twenty hours yet since six years blue eyed puppy" Logan smiled.

Felix tried to jerk away from Logan's grip but Logan ended up pulling him. His phone fell, while Felix fell onto Logan's lap and his head met the other chair.

His heart was beating rapidly.

"Did you miss me?" Logan asked with a mischievous smirk which made Felix's eyes widen in shock.

He couldn't believe Logan's question. He wanted to burst out in anger but he controlled himself.

"I don't want to answer that" He straightforwardly said.

Logan was impressed. He allowed Felix to get back on his feet, picked his phone and walked away to the back into his room.

Felix closed the door behind him and inhaled deeply. He kept his phone on the bed and placed his hand on his chest.

He was disappointed.

Logan didn't love him like he loved him. Logan only saw him as his betrothed. The door opened behind him. His gasped and turned seeing that it was Logan.

"Go away please" Felix pleaded nervously.

Logan's eyebrows rose up in surprise.

"Are you mad at me because i said i want to know who you are to me?" Logan asked him.

Felix couldn't help but to look away. Logan walked towards him and cupped Felix's face making him face him.

"We won't live together but if anyone asks for your relationship status, tell them that you are betrothed because you are bounded to me" Logan told him, he voice was husky and deep and had a possessive tone which made Felix's ears turn red.

Felix blinked rapidly to know whether he was hallucinating but the hot sensation on his cheeks due to Logan's touch made him believe that what was happening was real.

"Understood blue eyed puppy?" Logan asked to clarify if the shocked red ear blue eyed puppy heard him.

"Y...yes" Felix stuttered.

Logan smirked and released him.

"Sleep" He ordered and walked out of the room.

Felix who was frozen placed his hands on his cheeks still blinking rapidly.

They walked out of the airport surrounded with guards in black suits and still met guards in black suit beside two black cars.

All eyes were on them.

Gawking humans shrieked at the beautiful drooling sight at the handsome yet cute youngster and drop dead gorgeous man beside him. Both with unreal looks that some could think that they weren't humans. They could feel the powerful aura that some thought that they may be the president accomplice or powerful politicians or something like that and above that. The men in black suits also looked handsome which made some girls faint.

Logan was unmoving at what was happening while Felix couldn't help but to pray that the ground could swallow him because he didn't like the attention he was getting.

He guessed that he had to get use to it.

Logan stood next to a black car while Felix stood next to the second black car.

" You will be taken to your resident and you better be silent here, humans mostly dwell here." Logan told Felix like a father who was scolding his child for spilling milk on the table.

Felix smiled cutely.

"Of course, plus i am a senior i am in my last year after all" He half agreed.

He didn't know why his father said "years" When he was only in his last year. Felix wasn't going to stay low, he loved extreme and wanted to live his life the way he wanted. He had read about his school back during the filght, Lake city university.

He swallowed hard and hoped that he would be able to put up his good boy act to his betrothed.

A guard opened the door which was the passenger for Felix. He waved at Logan who only nodded opened the door himself and got into his car. He felt like the rejected child. He got into his car and in some minutes, he was already on the road. He removed his phone from his pocket seeing a message.

(Freshen up before you sleep and stay safe) He knew that it was from his betrothed. He finally smiled and hugged his phone.

The gorgeous wolf wasn't just his betrothed but his mate that he wanted to spend all his life with.

Logan's mansion was located out side the city and in s small valley.

The mansion looked a mini castle though, his home back home was bigger. It suited his taste. He walked into the mansion and the scent of two familiar wolves filled it. He stared at the fire place with an expressionless face.

"You aren't even going to look at us?" Rhydian asked then scoffed.

Logan looked at the sitting room where the wolves were.

Rhydian and Alex.

Rhydian was a tall, slender muscular and handsome wolf who looked quite feminine yet firece. His light brown hair and hazel eyes suited him.

"You told us to come here" Rhydian added.

"We were already here, he actually left us in England" Alex growled at Rhydian yet referring to Logan who smirked mischievously.

Rhydian stood up and crossed his arms while Alex sat there on the couch with his leg on top of the other.

He looked furious and his fierce brown eyes were like beams and the some strands on his dark hair fell to his face. He was a hot beauty that no one could resist.

"If we aren't good friends of yours, we wouldn't have come here" Alex added.

"Go away if you are so mad" Rhydian groaned at the rude wolf who scoffed.

Alex stood up revealing his height and muscles. He was fitted.

"I actually have a life here" Alex sighed still staring at the expressionless wolf.

"He is schooling here" Logan told them and Rhydian jaw dropped while the slight reaction was in Alex's eyes but disappeared immediately.

"Lake city of all places?!, the damn Alpha isn't wise, doesn't he care about his son?" Rhydian exclaimed and clicked his tongue dramatically.

"No where is safe for that little dude" he added and sat on the couch.

Alex could tell that Logan silence meant that he was thinking and calculating. A small smile curved his lips then he walked towards Logan.

"You actually followed him" He said to Logan as a tease.

"Does it mean...."

"I just want to figure out some things by following him" Logan cut him off.

Alex rolled his eyes.

"If we weren't business partners...."

"And friends" Rhydian cut him off.

Alex sighed deeply and closed his eyes then opened them again.

"And friends, we wouldn't be here" Alex completed.

Logan smirked deviously like a wicked king while Alex rolled his eyes. Rhydian sat comfortably as he saw drama coming.

"Me or Raven?" Logan scoffed still with the devious smirk.

Alex felt offended yet defeated.

"He is just coincidentally here" Alex said a bit nervous.

Rhydian held his laughter.

"We aren't that different" Alex told Logan and placed his arm over his shoulder.

Rhydian groaned.

"Ugh!, here we go again"

"Raven is my mate while Felix is just you betrothed to avoid the blood shed" Alex told Logan whose smirk disappeared and he became cold.

Alex moved away from the cold aura filled wolf and chuckled deeply.

"Who knows, they might become friends and six years apart, your betrothed must have grown to be a strong wolf and achieved and acquired some personalities that you know nothing about, werewolves are always rebels " Alex added spiking Logan who ignored him yet took it in mind.

Rhydian groaned stood up and walked up to them then placed his arms over their shoulders.

"Can't there be peace for once?" He groaned.

Alex became serious.

"As long as he is here, there will be no peace" Alex said to them

Logan and Rhydian knew that it was true.

"Now i am the only single one" Rhydian groaned making the other two smile.
