Chapter 4 The meeting

As Kimberly sat with Jennie at a corner of the club, she couldn't help but feel out of place, this wasn't her type of scene and she felt uncomfortable.

Jenny had given her a latex mini gown to wear with matching boots, even though this was not her style, she went with it and didn't complain as Jennie had stated how she was doing her a favour

"Okay! I got you here, it's not gonna be easy to attract a guy but try and do so, and smile it's one of the few beautiful traits you've got" She scolded "I'll be at the bar, try to get a man but don't be too desperate for it okay, bye, love you" she instructed before strutting towards the bar and leaving Kimberly sitting next to a creepy guy

She just sat and stared at the people dancing and those making out and drinking, how did Jennie convince her to come here? this was so not her scene and she was feeling very uncomfortable, she stood up to leave when something or someone stopped me

"Hey beautiful, where are you off to? " The attractive-looking man smirked down at her, he towered over her petite size and she couldn't help but blush at the thought of someone finding her attractive

"I was leaving to go get some fresh air" she replied timidly glancing briefly at him.

"Well I'm here now so stay with me, it'll be fun and I'll make it worth your time" The Guy suggested offering her a smile

"I'm Smith by the way" He extended his arms for a shake

"Kimberly " she responded taking his outstretched hand as they sat back down.

Vanessa had successfully gotten ten good men and women who had taken her contact and had planned various rendezvous with her during the week, at this rate she'd have her rent money by tomorrow night before she was kicked out.

She located the bar Nora was working on and Nora slid a shot of vodka towards her, who knew getting clients would be so draining both physically and mentally. She felt disgusted by most of them trying to touch and grope her, some had on their wedding rings and her conscience judged her for it but she had no choice, she needed the money.

"How's it going, Nessa," Nora asked, eyes focused on the drink she was making

"Okay, I got twelve clients already" Vanessa replied, downing the drink and enjoying the satisfying burn it gave her throat.

"Wow! That's a lot, I guess I'm not surprised you're hot as fuck " She smiled swinging the drink to the client

Vanessa got up, adjusted her dress again, and gave her best friend a thumbs-up before going back into the crowd for a few more clients.

Sitting in the upstairs room of The luxury clubs were the wealthy and influential men, the VIPs of the VIPs. Amongst them were Valentino Foxx and Wayde Patino, sitting in a room with stoic faces as they occasionally glanced at their wristwatches. Beside the expensive-looking men were two large men situated at both ends, with hardened faces.

The doors were pulled open and an equally dangerous-looking man hurried in followed by his own set of bodyguards.

"I'm sorry I'm late, I had to -"

"55-45" Valentino spoke curtly

"What? " The man asked, a frown etched on his face making his forehead crinkle

"For coming late, you now get 45% of the goods delivered" Wayde spoke, face void of any emotion as he sent a piercing gaze to the man who had taken his seat in front of her

"What the hell! That's not what we agreed on" The guy was slowly losing his cool as he slammed a fist on the table

"Drone, we risked our men and reputations to get the goods here, lives and money were lost, do you think we'd give you 50%? " Valentino asked with a menacing smirk as he stared at the guy, Drone.

"That was the agreement we had! You gave me your words'' Drone shouted losing control of his anger

"I don't remember us giving you or promising you shit! And bring your voice down when you speak to us" Wayde warned

This seemed to have scared Drone as he took a deep breath and sat back down, Valentino revealed in the fear that Drone tried to mask but he kept his expression neutral

"60-40" Valentino stated, gesturing for his bodyguard to bring him the contract they'd prepared in advance

"Now sign here let's get this over with I have other things to do, as you know we're busy individuals" He continued sliding the contract over to the fuming man

As he read through it the veins in his forehead and neck were popping out as he got furious

"I will not accept this! " He shouted, his bodyguards pulling out their guns and pointing them at the two billionaires who looked unfazed by the scene, the two giants standing behind Wayde and Valentino also pulled out their guns and pointed at Drone and his men

Valentino let out a sign and Wayde physically tensed, it was a sign that Val was losing his patience and things could turn ugly any minute now

"Drone, I suggest you leave and come back when you're more composed lest you make a decision you'd live to regret" He spoke calmly.

his words were soft but Drone could hear the warning behind them, the command, and that aggravated him further, he was tired of them ruling over the city and he'd put an end to it today, he didn't think of the consequences of the action he was about to take, being consumed by anger, jealousy and pride he dug his own grave.

As he reached out to pull his gun out, Valentino sensed it and within the blink of an eye both his bodyguards were lying lifeless in the pool of their blood and Drone was now clutching his shoulder blade that was oozing out blood.

"Wrong choice" Valentino sneered pointing the gun he used in killing both men at Drone

"Hey, you can't kill him, that'll bring unnecessary complications with the council" Wayde reasoned lowering the outstretched arms of his best friend and partner

"Marcus, take the worm back to the mansion and get someone to clean up this mess, and Ben get the club manager here, I think my brother needs a stress reliever" Wayde ordered as they both went out to carry out the orders, soon men came in and the bodies were dragged out along with a whimpering drone

Minutes later the club manager hurried into the room

"Sir, you called for me? " He breathed out, heads bowed in front of him.

"Yes, my brother needs a stress reliever" Wayde spoke stroking Val's shoulder to calm him down

"Right away sir, also we brought a little entertainment for the guests for tonight, if you know what I mean, I could bring in our best if you want?" He offered

"Oh that's alright, we don't pick cheap sluts, not our type, we have specific preferences" Wayde explained to the middle-aged man, all blinged out

"Okay sir I'll be back with a bottle of our finest champagne" He spoke before leaving the two men in the room

"You think we'd get in trouble with the council, we did breach the contact when I shot him," Val asked leaning fully into the throne-like chair he was sitting at

"I filmed the whole thing and he tried to attack us first, so we have no problem with the council but I'll report the case to them tonight, we'd probably get the option to do whatever we want with him since he violated their biggest rule" Wayde explained to his friend also relaxing in his seat as well.

As they sipped their expensive champagne they talked about business and other stuff

"So how's Maddie, heard from the cute fluff ball lately? " Wayde asked his friend as a warm smile ran across both men's faces as they talked about Valentino's adopted little sister

"Yeah, I just spoke to her last night, she's got a boyfriend now" Val spoke eyes shimmering in excitement

"What! Damn no, she is, no boyfriend for her, I have to meet this boy! " Wayde spoke sternly

"That's exactly what I said. No boyfriends for her till she's 30" Val commented

They both let out a laugh, this was a rare moment where the busy businessmen get time to themselves to just joke and enjoy themselves.

"Where are you going after this? " Wayde asked his friend who looked tired as hell

"I'm going home, I need rest, I'm travelling in a few days I need to rest" Valentino signed and downed the entire champagne in his glass

"I'm heading back to the office need to plan out my campaign," Wayde said also downing his drink in a gulp "Ben, call the manager we have to leave" He addressed the bodyguard that had resumed his position beside them.

The bodyguard arrived with the club manager and he led the CEOs to the back of the club through the same greasy door that Vanessa had come in.
