Chapter 4 Out with my dad

It was around 8 pm of the day when Kim and her dad were about going out, her mum who was just entering the house, asked where they were going to and her husband said they were going out for a walk, Mrs.

Kris was jealous as she was not invited for the walk, to calm the little atmosphere, her husband proposed she go get her bath while the two of them wait for her at the balcony, she accepted the idea, went to the bathroom and took her bath in order not to waste their time, she wore a simple black gown and a white pair of slippers with the little white handbag she had to make up too, in less than 40 minutes she was ready and they were set to go, the driver was already in the car waiting for them. Kim proposed they go have dinner, in one luxurious restaurant, but her dad was not in as he wanted an environment accessible to everyone, there both ladies had no choice other than to accept Mr. Jerk's proposal. As they arrived, they sat gave their commands and we're waiting to be served, the few people in the area who knew Mr. Jerk came to their table to greet him. Mr. Jerk was a kind and generous man, the only error he committed was getting married to a wicked woman who in return gave birth to a dangerous daughter, Mr. Jerk was happy to be around the people, and the people were happy to be around him. But Kim and her mum never liked the area, they were praying to go home faster, Kris started regretting why she even accepted to follow them in the first place, she was feeling bad throughout that evening. Jerk looked at his phone and saw it was getting to 10 pm and asked them to start going as the next morning Kim was to go to school, he never wanted her to stay out for so long. Kris and Kim gladly rushed to the car waiting for him to settle the bills, in the car while waiting for him, they're having a little conversation, Kim told her mum when her dad proposed they go have a walk she taught he was taking her to a special environment, she said if she had known her dad was to go mix her with poor people she wouldn't have accepted such offer. Her dad was approaching and they stopped the conversation they never wanted him to know they weren't happy to be in such an environment. They were now back home, Kris and Jerk went to their room while Kimberly equally went to get a room. Her parents were already sleeping while she was in her room discussing with Malyse, she told her, her dad took her to an environment she never enjoyed and regretted going out, Malyse told her not to bother and that things were going to be fine, Malyse was already feeling sleepy and wished Kim a safe night and she went to bed. The next morning, the day was sounding good in Jennifer's home, William, Benedict, and Jennifer were already up they were working as they all had to go out, they were going to work while Jennifer was going to school, the school bus was made available for people who went to school early and for those who could not afford money for a taxi to school, for Jennifer not to miss the school bus she had to wake up early and do fast to meet the bus on her way. She stood by the road waiting for the bus and after 10 mins, she could see the bus from far coming towards her direction, she was happy because she met the bus, they were days that before she could meet the school bus was a huge problem, they arrived the school and she went to her sit, Malyse was already in school, she greeted her and went to her seat, she was revising while waiting for the teacher. Kim's driver dropped her, and as she was entering the school campus, Shay was doing the same, she was waiting for him to greet her, but Shay did not do that, she then stopped him from entering the class. Shay asked what her problem was and she said he had not greeted her, and Shay asked if she was a God and she answered saying she was the daughter of the person who paid his dad salary and if she wanted it could stop at any time, Shay told her she was a mad girl and needed urgent care, he then pushed her hands and entered the class, from the window Jennifer could see what was going on but she heard nothing since they were far away from her, she saw as Shay pushed Kim's hand with anger, once he entered the class and went to his seat, Jennifer ran outside to go check if Kim was fine, on her arrival, she tried consoling her without even knowing what the problem was, Kim warned her not to come close to her, she replied saying she just wanted to know if she was fine, Kim told her she was fine and asked her to get out of her side. Jennifer went back to class to go meet Shay, when she arrived at Shay's seat, he immediately told her not to ask anything concerning Kimberly, she pleaded with Shay never to treat Kimberly in such a manner, she added saying even though Kim was arrogant she was still a woman and needed to be respected, Shay told her he had heard. While Jennifer was going to her seat, he couldn't stop admiring her, she was very simple and kind, although Kim never wanted to hear anything concerning Jennifer, she was always taking care of her. William already left the house for his new job, Benedict was not yet dressed up to go for work, the lady who assisted her with the cleaning was already around and had already cleaned Mrs. Kris office including Mr. Jerk office, she was doing laundry at the same time singing, she was still happy about the previous day. Mrs. Kris just arrived, she was still at the reception as she was having a meeting with the board of directors in the staff room, the directors including her husband were in the staff room waiting for her to come to join them, while she was waiting for the receptionist to give her some documents which were in her possession, immediately she reported herself to the staff room, the meeting stayed for about 59 minutes, and important decisions were taken at this meeting. Immediately after the meeting Mr. Jerk went back to the office and asked his assistant to cancel all his appointment for the day, he was not in the mood to receive anyone. William arrived at his new job, and his boss daughter welcomed him, she showed him where he was gonna be working and with whom he was going to work, they had break for about 1 hour time, the boss was not yet around but, his daughter was surpervising the work done by the workers, as Williams was going out, Sandryne the boss daughter followed him to a nearby restaurant they sat and were having some good time, Sandryne wanted to know more about William and his family, he told her, he had an elder sister and a niece, Sandryne asked him if he had a child and he said no. William did not ask to know more about Sandryne's life because she was the boss daughter and he was not interested knowing much about his boss, his concerned was to work and to receive a pay check after that, they finished eating and the returned to work, he was now filing some files, as Sandryne asked him to do. After they were done working, Sandrine proposed to go see his little family since she wanted to know more about them, he did not accept her request as he never wanted to be seen as a bad person by his colleagues, he was avoiding planks like, he just came and was already after the boss daughter, he just told her that things were tight and he was gonna invite her some other day, she accepted and continued her way as they were each going through separate roads. After school, Kimberly was getting her back in order for her to get home, Malyse was already ready and waiting for her so they could go out together, as they were going out, Shay passed and greeted Malyse before going down and he completely ignored Kim, for some seconds she said nothing then she turned and asked Malyse why Shay was greeting her, if there were into a relationship, Malyse looked at her and was confused, she told Kim she was not in a relationship with Shay, her greeting him does not means they were dating, Kimberly excused herself and they continued going down, Kimberly never liked the idea of Shay greeting Malyse, even thou they were friends, she preferred Shay ignoring every girl in class. William was back home now, Benefit was now back from work and she was doing laundry behind the corridor, William came in and greeted her then took a wooden chair which was behind him and placed it not far from where Benedict was having her laundry done and sat on it, they were discussing his first day at work, he said it went well and how the boss daughter welcomed him, Benedict was happy to know her kid brother was comfortable with his new job. Not long, Jennifer entered the house, she was so hungry that she went to the kitchen to serve herself without going behind to greet her mum and uncle, it was after she served herself that she went behind and greeted them, her mum asked why she was eating cold food and she said she could not warm it before eating because she was so hungry, she took a chair beside her mum and sat down eating her cold food. Kimberley was back home, she was so tired that she lied on her bed before she could imagine she was already sleeping, the maid was in the kitchen doing her possible best to get something for her to eat while she takes shower, little did she know that Kim was at sleep. She maid her vegetables and plantains with fried chicken and served it to the table, she was now rushing to her room to go inform her that her food was already ready, to her surprise she met Kimberly seriously sleeping, she went back to the table and took the food back inside waiting for her to wake up, Mrs. Kris just entered the house and discovered the table was still clean and asked the maid if Kim had not yet eaten and she said immediately she came back she fell on her bed and was sleeping, it was strange, Kimberly hardly slept during the day, she left her daughter to have some rest while she went refreshing, the maid had to serve food again this time in Mrs. Kris room as she hardly ate on the dining table when her daughter or husband wasn't around. Not long ago, Kim woke up and discovered she was sleeping with her school clothes and even her shoes, she undressed and went to the bathroom to go take her bath, she later wore her dress going down to go see if the food was served as she was hungry. Her mum just finished eating and was going to Kim's room to check if she was sleeping, just then she heard her voice from the sitting room and went to meet her, they were having a mother-to-daughter discussion. She asked why she slept earlier and she told her mum they did a lot in school and she came back tired and coupled with the hunger, she guest were the two factors which pushed her to bed.
