Chapter 2 The Dream

The two never spoke to each other again after a few days. Cherie is angry of Elena because she refused to apologize for what she had done. After being confronted by Elena, Cherie

transforms into a terrible bitch. She raises her eyebrow at her and taunts her even in class, so Elena is even more angry with him. She prefers to do it badly as revenge.

When Elena returned home, she walked straight to her bedroom to lock the door. She didn't bother to help her mother, who is now guarding her grandmother's wake, because she knows their other relatives will question her about the gift that she acquired from her

grandmother. She took a black book hidden in her wardrobe and opened her cabinet. She also took the three candles she had purchased on the sidewalk. She lit three candles in a triangle formation. She prayed and put a picture of Simoun in a picture frame.

"In magica nigra meus,

Da mihi potestatem, ut illi somniant de mihi,

Et eum amare est mecum"

Elena read from the black book she inherited from her grandmother in hushed tones. The black book of terrible magic, packed with evil.

"What happened to Elena?" Herbert asked as he sat on the pool's edge.

Simoun simply shrugged and sipped his beer. Cherie and Elena's feud is discussed by the two of them. Simoun laughed and shook his head as Herbert continued, "I genuinely believe she likes you."

"Is she really a witch?" Simoun asked Herbert. Herbert replied, "They said yes, her grandma recently died, so the power is passed on to her."

Simoun asked, "How do you know those gossips?"

"What kind of person are you? That was talked about all over the university, so no one was making friends with her, and I really don't know why that became your girlfriend's bestfriend," Herbert replied. A few minutes later, Herbert felt a pain in his stomach, so he said goodbye and jumped into the pool.

Simoun was swimming in their private pool when he became aware of an unusual presence. He got up for a moment and rolled his eyes because he felt he was being watched.

Simoun screamed, "You beast! Get away of there!" because he believed Herbert was observing him. He looked in every direction but couldn't find the young man. Before losing consciousness in the water, he felt pain in his head. Simoun's body was discovered floating in the water when Herbert returned.

Cherie rushed to the hospital to see her boyfriend Simoun, who had been admitted. She noticed that the young man was still unconscious when he entered the room. "Can you calm down, Cherie?" Herbert demanded angrily, pushing Cherie away from the young man.

"He's OK, he just needs some rest, okay?" Cherie merely nodded and tried to calm herself while Herbert spoke quietly to her.

A few days later, Cherie noticed Simoun was upset. Simoun is not in itself and looks at nothing when they meet; sometimes Cherie notices that it is always glancing at Elena.

"Simoun, what's the matter with you? You're always silent, you weren't like this before," Cherie replied, taking Simoun's hand in hers and urging him to look at her. As he glanced at Cherie, the young man's eyes darkened. Simoun's final words before passing out were "E-Elena..."

Simoun has been unable to attend school for several days due to his frequent fainting. His parents saw that he was often sleeping and drowsy and decided to take him to the doctor, but the doctor did not see anything wrong with him. Cherie was always concerned about her boyfriend's health since one day he didn't wake up and appeared to be very drowsy till his uncle from another country arrived.

Simeon, his uncle, inquired of his parents, "Where is Simoun?" "We have an issue upstairs," Simoun's father explained.

"What?" asked the man. Simeon noticed Simoun's mother about to say something when he noticed the family's dried plants. "There appears to be a problem here," Simeon said as he ascended to the second story. The couple simply followed Simoun to his room.

"Simoun is dreaming. Simeon sat on his nephew's bed and stated, "He needs to wake up right soon." When he opened the young man's eyes, they were completely white, which terrified his parents, particularly his mother.

"Woman, a woman made it..." Simeon said, reaching into his pocket for a red bracelet made of thick thread. It has a circle in the center that functions as a bracelet pendant. Simoun wore it on his right arm. When Simoun woke up and inhaled the air, they were shocked and happy.

When Simoun saw his parents crying, he questioned, "What happened? Why are you crying?" They grabbed him closely as though he had lost time.

"When he heard a familiar voice, he instantly looked at his door, delighted to see Cherie, and welcomed her with a hug, saying, "Thank God you're alive!"

Simoun's father asked, "Brother, what did you do?"

"Be cautious because someone is attempting to seduce your son. What happened to Simoun is dangerous because if anything happens to them with the woman in his dreams, he can be certain that the woman will become pregnant," Simeon, who was shocked by his brother and his wife.

"Pregnant? In his dreams? That is very impossible, brother, "said Simoun's mother. "Yes, it is impossible but that has already happened to Uncle Simmon. I know you know that Simon, " Simeon said to his brother. Simoun's father remembers what happened to his uncle Simmon who was 24 years old at that time.

There is a woman who is madly in love with his uncle, but she is not beautiful or wealthy, so her uncle Simmon ignores her until she appears in his dream, where an incident occurs that he never expected to occur.

Uncle Simmon was depressed, and he never left the house or went to work. His nephews only saw him crying while he's sleeping, screaming as if he was fighting for his life till he died. He died in a nightmare as a result of his failure to take responsibility for his child from a witch.

Simon- Simoun's father did not want his son to die in a nightmare, so he simply followed the directions of his older brother, who was

aware of the event, despite the fact that it was impossible.

Cherie is enjoying dinner with the family. He drank so much water and ate so much that his stomach felt empty. After all, when he was sleeping, he didn't eat much and didn't drink much water. Simoun's strength is gradually returning, thanks to his uncle's efforts.

"Never take off that bracelet," Uncle Simeon advised his nephew, who was shocked by Simoun, especially Cherie.

"Woman?" Cherie said as she put down her fork. Cherie locked her gaze on her boyfriend, completely oblivious to what was going on. Simoun's brow furrowed in surprise.

What woman? What is going on? She asked herself.

Simoun's mother told Cherie, "Eat your food first, sister; we'll chat afterwards." Her eyes were welling up with tears, and her heart was racing. In her mind, Simoun was hiding something in her.

"Thank you for dinner, aunt and uncle, but I have to leave," Cherie said and stood up trembling.

As she ran away from the dining room table, Simoun's parents did nothing. Simoun was going to follow when he was stopped by his uncle in front of him. "Don't worry, Simoun; we'll explain everything to her," Simeon said.

"What's happening on?" Simoun asked, his face puzzled.

"Don't you remember?" his father asked, surprised. "What's going on?" he asked, shrugging his shoulders.

" Why do you have such a strange expression on your face when you look at me?" Simoun asked when he spotted his three companions' surprised expressions.

"And who is the woman you say?" he asked, scratching his head. Cherie might become enraged and reasoned, he thought in his mind.

His mother questioned him, "Don't you know you've been sleeping for a week?" Simoun shook after a brief minute of pondering.

He remembers nothing but swimming before falling asleep, the bliss of his sleep, and the fact that he only slept for a few hours.

He also had no idea of going to school because he believed he was still sleeping.

"Someone loves you a lot, but she can't approach you, so she uses your dream to reach you, so be careful..."

Elena was gasping for air as she awoke. She examined the candle; it had not yet turned to ashes, but why had she awoken so quickly? She jumped to her feet and dashed to the triangle, ignoring the fact that she had done nothing wrong. She simply ignored it and walked out of the room.

She noticed her mother, who was holding a bucket and a towel. "You're awake; I would have rushed you to the hospital if it wasn't for the fact that-"

"I know. I'll go to school," Elena said and took her towel to go to the bathroom.
