Chapter 4 Married woman

Catherine looked at the small red booklet in a daze as she came out of the Marriage Registry

"Is it too late to burn this and escape" She couldn't help but wonder.

She opened the booklet for the fifteenth time

"I really don't know how they edited this photo but looking at the not so clear photo the groom looks quite handsome".

"Madame, we will leave now " Kelvin reminded her.

"To where" She asked as she handed the small red book to him.

"Bashan estate" Kelvin replied as she nodded.

"That old man still has a good eye " She muttered and entered the car wondering if she should forgive Mr. Blake a little.

They drove silently as Catherine fell asleep again in the car

After a long drive they finally reached the estate

"Madame we are here" The Guard spoke lightly but Catherine woke up before he stopped speaking

she stepped down from the car without saying much while she moved her stiff back

"Such a smooth ride, I don't know the last time I fell asleep in a car" Catherine muttered to herself

"Madame please go in" Kelvin spoke as Catherine' finally recovered and looked up to the Retro styled mansion

"I should go in there" She pointed at herself and asked not really sure if she heard him correctly

"Yes, that would be your home from now" Kelvin spike respectfully

"What's the name of your boss" She couldn't help but ask to see if it sounded familiar

"It's in the marriage certificate" Kelvin replied as she looked at him for a second and pulled out the marriage certificate to look at

"Alexander Maverick" She called out the name but it didn't sound any bell to her

"His name is Alex?" She asked as Kelvin nodded

"Whatever, I will see him sooner or later. let's go in" She motioned go Kelvin who nodded and led the way

Walking into the mansion Catherine couldn't help but praise the Architectural crew

They indeed did a good job here

"Or should I find them to do something like this for me" She muttered to herself but Kelvin who was right in front of her twitched as he heard what she said

"Madame" An Elderly man greeted as they both stepped into the house

"Uncle Ben" Kelvin called out and bowed slightly

"You can go, I and the Maids will take over from here" He said as Kelvin nodded and left without looking back

"Welcome Madame" Uncle Ben greeted with neither a humble or arrogant posture but with a gentle expression as he led her in

"Welcome Madame" They chorused concurrently as Catherine took a step back startled

She looked at everyone who were in a uniform but male and female looking at her with a standardized smile

"Did I transmigrate into a Cinderella fairy tale" She turned to Uncle Ben whose eyes twitched but didn't answer

"Madame would get to know them with her stay here, everything is ready for you. No 24 and No 3 should take Madame to her room and will serve her from now on" He ordered as two girls walked out

"It is an honor to serve you Madame" They two girls sworn as Catherine took a step back in a daze wondering if it's too late to go back to the airport and return to where she is coming from

When she recovered they've already led her to her room, She looked at the Retro styled room that had everything she needs.

A walk in wardrobe, a special room for skin care routine, but the thing that left her puzzled is that there is no make clothing or anything that belonged to a man in the room

"Hey, what about the man's room" She asked as the two maids turned to her

"What man?" No 3 asked not really sure

" That man... I mean your boss" She scratched her head awkwardly

"The Boss Room is at the extreme end and no one is allowed to get into the room" No. 24 replied but unconsciously woke up the trouble making demon in Catherine

Catherine smirked as she walked over to No 24 and stood in front of her

"I am officially married to him but we still need to sleep in different rooms?" Catherine was puzzles but at the same time she decided to not let some people live so peacefully

"That is the instructions given to us" No 3 replied indifferently

"Unfortunately I don't plan to sleep indifferent room" Catherine dropped her words and walked out of the room not caring about the 2 that were left to serve

Seeing her walking down Uncle Ben was puzzles and thought that she was dissatisfied with their arrangements although everything they did was according to her preference

"Is there anything Madame is dissatisfied with" He walked over to her and asked

"Were is his room" Catherine stopped and asked

"Whose Room?"

"Your Boss'"

"I'm sorry Madame but I can't tell you" Uncle Ben replied neither overbearing nor humble

"Good, I don't also plan to sleep separately from my cheap husband"

"That..."

"If Uncle Ben thinks that I'm asking too much then I will go back to my father's house. After all I don't lack anything there even though it's a little bit worst than here" Catherine sat in the sofa and relaxed lazily but one could see that she is ready to make trouble

"Then I would talk to the boss about it" Uncle Ben could only give up and call Alex

"Hello Uncle Ben" Williams voice sounded from the other side after the call was connected

"It's about Madame, so can you give the phone to the Boss" He asked

Williams looked at the man who is in a meeting with the executives and looked like he is about to murder everyone in the conference room

"Boss is in an important meeting _" He explained

"Williams what's the matter " Alexander's voice sounded startling him

"It's a call from Uncle Ben , he said it is about Madame" He reported as Alex tapped his pen on the table ignoring those in the office

"Bring the phone over" He ordered as he handed the phone over to him immediately

"What's the matter"

"Madame has refused to stay in the room we prepared for her" Uncle Ben reported

"Then Find another room for her"

"Not it..." Uncle Ben didn't know how to explain it.

"What?"

"She wants to stay in your room she is threatening to go back home if we don't let her" Uncle Ben explained as Alex raised his eyebrows not expecting the news

"Then let her stay transfer everything from her room to mine" He ordered simply and hung up the call
