Chapter 2 Surrending to Them

In a office a man who exuded a cold abd gloomy temperament is sitting there and watched the screen with a cold expression and his body exuded more gloominess. but although he was in a bad mood that didn't stop him from looking as handsome as ever

Alexander Maverick who is the only son of Mr and Mrs. Maverick Williams and the most successful grandson of Mr. Maverick Anderson.

The Maverick family is known as a family which has laid it foundation since the ancient time and even till the present 21st Century nothing has been able to move their position in the society, a lot of rumors have been going around about the existence of the Maverick family but still no one has the evidence to prove the groundless rumors

Alexander Maverick is known for his ruthlessness when dealing with any affair, since he took over tye century old company which has evolved as the time passed, he has been a figure feared by many since then

Alexander Maverick has a pale skin which looked different from that of a normal person and his eyes is light green

But that didn't seem to hide how handsome he is

And only a few who are the same know that both the grandfather, the father and Alexander himself are all one person

"Boss, Madame is resisting" A voice came from the headset and one could hear how anxious the voice sounded

Alex tapped his hand slightly on the Soft sit he sat on without a word but his cold eye turned to the man who immediately wiped a cold sweat from him face

"I'm sorry Mr Maverick, my daughter has a little mental problem and can be mischievous sometimes" Mr. Blake pleaded,

At the moment he really wanted to kill that dead child

"You didn't tell her" Alex hoarse but magnetic voice asked

"If I told her, then she wouldn't even come back home" He trembled as he answered

"Settle it yourself " Alex ordered as Mr. Blake nodded his head repeatedly.as he took his phone and dialed Catherine's number

The phone in her hand rand as she looked at the remaining guards

"See my phone is ringing and you are not allowed to sneak attack" She waved her phone to their faces and gave them a warning glance

"Hello Dad" She connected the call

"You dead girl, don't resist and follow them immediately" Mr. Blake's voice sounded from the other side

"Huh?"

"Follow them obediently, in this way you can save the company" Her Dad yelled from the other side as Catherine frowned and looked at the people on front of First

"You old man, I have been trying to be good to you and gentle as much as I can but you can't just come from nowhere and tell me to follow them" Catherine yelled back at him

"You!! You!!" Mr. Blake was suddenly speechless as he couldn't help but look at the side to see Alexander's lip curled, he suddenly felt like he is going to have a heart attack but Catherine wasn't done yet

"What, do you think you can tell at me and I won't tell back

I just came back, I didn't even blame you for not picking me up at the Airport, but here you are are talking rubbish" She scolded loudly no longer caring about those in front of her

"I understand that you are selfish and that you can do anything to make sure that you save your company, but do you really have to go as far as sacrificing your own daughter" She continued

"Kate!"

"What!! you want to apologize like you did at first, sorry but I won't accept it even in my grave and I wish your company goes ..."

"Miss Catherine Blake" A hoarse and magnetic voice sounded as Catherine paused on her words

"Hello whom am I speaking with?" A sweet smile appeared on her face as she flipped her hair

Guards; ??... The face changing skills is really perfect

Mr. Blake;... it's indeed a face and voice control

he really want to dig the ground and bury himself in it immediately

Even Mr. Alex was taken aback as the voice switched from angry to soft as he looked at the projector just to see her face change in time

"Miss Blake should follow them peacefully" Alexander spoke as Catherine nodded

"Are they your men" She asked as Alex paused but his fingers kept tapping the chair

"You will know soon, so will Miss Blake follow them" Alex voice softening a bit couldn't help

"Of course, just for you" She replied sweetly

"Good" He muttered and hung up

Catherine looked at her phone and took a deep breath

"Where are we going" She asked man in front who was still a bit dazed by the turn of event

Master should have just called right from the beginning

"Hey where are we going" Catherine asked again

"That, you would know when we reach there" He said as Catherine rolled her eyes

"Why are you playing mysterious, do you think you are a magician" She mocked as she walked out while the followed and surrounded her so she won't leave again

"Wait, what about my Suitcase"

"it has been carried into the car"

They led her until the got to the car, looking at the car Catherine curled her lips

seems like things are not so simple

Alexander returned the phone to Mr. Blake who trembled seriously as he took the phone from him

"Is there something about your daughter that you don't know about" Alex asked puzzled

"Nothing" He replied as he wanted to cry without tears

"Are you sure" He asked again

"She... she is a bit of a face control and a voice control" Mr Blake shivered

"Huh?"

"She admires anybody that has a nice voice and a handsome face" He explained as Alex nodded as he turned to leave While Williams who has always been invisible followed immediately

Seeing that he had left, Mr. Blake collapsed immediately
