Chapter 4 Perrenial wolf

"Hazel" Axel repetitively called but she was no where to be found.

He waited until the cover of the night before she came back with a bag of herbs.

"Hazel, something strange happened to me today, he pulled her to a seat and dropped the bag.

"What happened" she asked giving her full attention to him.

"At first I heard a strange voice in my head but it turned out to be my wolf, I have a wolf" He freakily said.

"Oh really" Hazel acted unsurprised.

"Did you know about it" he asked noticing her unfazed reaction.

"Yes"she nodded,

"But why am I different from the rest" He asked sobered,

He had never seen a wolf roaming around, all he saw was just witches.

"I will tell you that next time"she replied,

"But Hazel" he interrupted eager to know more about himself,

"No but" she ordered,

"Tomorrow we will begin your training"

"What training" he asked confused,

"How to fight in your wolf form" she said picking up her bag,

"Luther is going to learn how to fight" he twitched his brows wondering how that would turn out.

"Yes, and we will begin tomorrow.

Go and freshen up while I make dinner"

She ordered and he obediently left.

It was 5:00am in the morning when Hazel took Axel out, breaking through the invisible wall, they soon ended up in the woods.

"Alright, let me see your wolf" she reluctantly said.

"Luther, are you ready" I asked him and his reply was consuming "Hell yeah"

Standing tall was a huge black wolf, Hazel was startled by the sudden massiveness.

"You are big" she said,

He licked her face in agreement and she giggled.

"First we will test your speed, how quick are you to save someone's life.

Most wolves are quick but I want you to be fast enough.

Take a lap" Hazel said.

Luther sprinted and returned in 1minute 52 seconds, Hazel twitched her mouth not fully impressed.

She wasn't satisfied with his speed, so she ordered him to sprint again.

"Again" until he returned back in 48 seconds almost stumbling on a branch.

"Perfect" she applauded.

Luther laid lazily on the floor,

"Get up Luther and change back to Axel" Hazel ordered.

There was no time for her to waste, she wanted him to train until she was sure that he was strong enough for the danger that was coming his way.

"Another thing about wolves is that they don't easily get sick and they heal quickly.

Stretch out your hand" She took a knife and cut him putting a drop of his blood into a bottle.

"What are you doing" Axel covered his wound but then felt his body closing up, he checked it again and there was no cut or slice mark.

He had never noticed it before because he was always careful in whatever he did because of Hazel's upbringing.

"Thats more than fast" She said.

"Do me a favour and turn into your Lycan form" she requested,

"Luther said he can't do that until he is extremely mad" Axel relayed.

"Okay, we will work on that" Hazel put it at the back of her mind as a work in progress.

A twig snapped causing their attention to shift towards it.

"Who is there" Hazel asked ready to defend herself if it were an attack.

"Claire" Axel abruptly replied, he was keen to her sense of raspberry scent.

"Come out Claire" Hazel bluntly said.

Claire came out of hiding but was quickly lifted up in the air by Hazel strangling her.

"What are you doing" Axel panicked,

"She has seen you in your wolf form which means she is a threat and might tell someone" Hazel informed.

"I won't tell anyone" Claire struggled to breath.

"Swear on it" Hazel bidded her

"I swear on the witches coven, I won't tell anyone" Claire hastily said.

"Good" Hazel dropped her gasping for air.

"What are you doing here" Axel asked her surprised to see her.

"I followed you" she replied.

"She might be useful to us, Claire at my command throw fireballs at him" Hazel instructed,

"Wait what , fireballs" Axel panicked,

He hated fire.

"Now"

Claire did as she was told and Axel kept dodging it,

"Faster Claire " Hazel ordered adding hers.

"Stop" Axel had already transformed into his wolf but they didn't stop.

He got so mad at them that his Lycan form erupted.

"Holy shit" Claire was amazed by the white and black Lycan standing in front of them.

The Lycan plunged at them and Hazel covered themselves with a forcefield.

After constant hitting and smashing, Axel's Lycan could break through the forcefield,

"What do we do Hazel" Claire was terrified.

"Invisique" Hazel turned them Invisible and Axel's Lycan couldn't see them anymore.

Without finding his prey, he changed back to Luther and then he could see them in a beam of light looking directly at him.

Knowing that he could see them, Hazel made them visible but her face carried a shocked expression.

"What is it Hazel" Claire asked,

"It's not possible" she blurted,

"What's not possible" Claire asked,

"He is a Perrenial Wolf, a direct descendant from the demon Hades who mated with a white wolf" She answered confusing Claire the more,

"I don't understand what you are saying" Claire replied,

"He is the destruction of the world" Hazel whispered to her,

Claire was dumbfounded with the words coming out of Hazel's mouth, she opted to Luther and stretched her hands to him, he mumbled at her touch spurring his fur.

"I don't know how something like this can become the destruction of the world" Claire thought to herself.

"He can break through forcefields, his healing is quite fast, some magic don't work on him, his speed increases each second, How could I have been so blind to not notice that" Hazel muttered to herself.

Claire and Luther watched her in confusion as she paced back and front putting together the pieces,

"I need to know more about this" she thought.

"Let's head back" Hazel said.

Each day Claire and Axel drew closer and closer, he took her to the woods every morning for a run and she would join him and practice her magic while they train.

Claire had always wanted to be a warrior just like Hazel so that nothing would seem impossible to her, she had heard stories of Hazel when she was little and hoped to fight one day by her side.

"Faster" Hazel commanded Luther who was jumping through high branches dangling in the air,

Hazel had began giving him harder training after she found out some useful piece of information about him.

There was no doubt that the prophecy about him was true, she knew that one day he was going to kill his father so she had to teach him how to fight if he would really go against his father who was a demon wolf.

There were rumors about Alpha Ethan and all the atrocities that he committed, the witches were scared of him which forced them into hiding, only the strong and powerful witches were allowed to roam free because most of them were touched by the gods and anyone who killed them would forever carry a curse.

"Claire, concentrate on the thing around you, when faced with odds, you can change the least of things into your most powerful weapon" She advised Claire who was getting frustrated by her constant failure.

For the past three months, she had been training them and Axel grew much stronger and more agile in his fights,

she was proud of his progress as watched him fight the fake wolfs she had created with a very powerful sorcery.
