Chapter 3 Don't leave me

At the Blackmoon pack, a pack of rogues attacked which caused an alarm, women and children were taken to the Pack's safe house except the female warriors who stood out to fight.

Furiously, Ethan chased them into the woods until he cornered them alone, he immediately changed into a creature more terrifying, standing tall on his feet was a black Lycan.

He grabbed two rogues and snapped their necks with quick motions leaving four whimpering in fear.

He didn't show mercy as he killed them all, transforming back into a wolf he raced to the pack only to be met with the sudden news of Ariana's disappearance.

"Alpha, the Luna is missing" Beta Aiden said through the mind-link.

"Did you see which way she went" Ethan asked.

"The woods" he answered.

Ethan let out a loud and menacing growl and Ariana could hear it from where she was hiding in the woods.

She had used the attack of the rogues to her advantage to run away from him, hearing him growl meant that he knew she was missing, it wouldn't take a matter of time before he found her.

She ran in her wolf form, but because she was a white wolf in the still cold darkness, she was easy to be spotted.

Ethan used his sense of smell to track her and knew that she wasn't that far from him, he took slow and unnoticeable steps to crawl up to her and Ariana didn't notice it because her mind was occupied by her freedom until he was a few metres away before she could pick up his scent.

She sprinted to run away but he leaped in front of her and growled demanding her submission. She curled her neck around his and he licked her ears.

"Change back" he resonated through the mind-link"

She obeyed him and changed back, his eyes were red and dreadful but she didn't show any sign of regret, she really wanted to get away from him.

"Where are you going to" he vaguely asked,

"Away from you" she began walking away creating a forcefield to block him but he passed with ease right through it.

"You are a monster, you killed my son" She confessed, her tone was full of hate and malice.

"Ariana please" he went on his knees, she was his mate and the only woman he had ever loved, when she came into his life, she changed him from being the monster demon he once was into a thoughtful yet commandeering man.

He couldn't leave without her,

"Are you going to leave me just like that, it has been fifteen years and I have suffered for my actions" he stared at his cute little mate, she was his only weakness, he had never succumbed to any other woman in his life except her.

Hence seeing that he had repented of his sins, she felt sorry for him, she knew how drastic his life would turn if she left him.

"I will return with you, but if anything of such ever happens again, I will leave you.

I am only doing this because I can't bring back to life my dead son" She uttered warning him.

He grabbed her by the hand and pulled her to him, their bodies were completely warm in each other's embrace, they were to return to the pack house but they were both naked.

Communicating through the mind-link, Ethan ordered Nixon to bring them a set of clothes which he did.

Returning back, some of the warriors were injured and a few were dead, Ariana used her abilities to heal some of their wounds with her gift of healing and those she couldn't heal, she took some of their pain untill they could be treated properly.

Carrying her to his bedroom, Ethan took a cold shower allowing the numbness of the water drain down his body and cool his mind.

It had been almost a year since they were attacked by rogues and he had let out his Lycan form.

Returning back with a towel strapped around his waist, Ariana was already sleeping peacefully, he put on his pants and joined her.

He noticed something odd, she had removed the pillows she usually kept for fifteen years to seperate them and prevent him from touching her.
