Chapter 5 ~Unforgivable Sin~

~At night- 9: 27 P.M~

Melissa woke up from her deep sleep as she glanced around and saw Sizu dozing beside her patient bed.

After a while, Sizu awoke and noticed that Melissa had already awaken "Oh... your already awake?" She rub her eye with yawn and stretches her hand back "Do you prefer some water? Wait-" She pour water on the glass "Drink it."

Melissa drink the water quietly and gave the glass back to Sizu without uttering a word.

"I assume you're hungry. I will buy some nourishing food." Sizu smiled "Wait here, Okay?" She then got up on her feet and was about to turn away, just then Melissa instantly reached her hand to stop her.

Sizu gazed down at Melissa who was quietly staring at her. She knock at her forehead "What happened?" Not getting a response from her, she bend down close to her with a smile "Don't worry. The doctor has already permitted that you can be discharged by tomorrow morning."

Melissa didn't let out a single word and still kept quiet looking down.

"I told you, don't worry, Okay? You are absolutely fine. Now, I'll go and get something go eat for you, so stay right here, okay?" Sizu said with a warm smile on her face.

Melissa's quiet gaze falls at her, as she eventually let go of her hand. Sizu carresed her head gently with a smile and left to buy some food at the hospital canteen.

Melissa glance around with a panic and finally saw her book on her pillow safely. She seized her precious book on her chest delicately feeling peaceful. She embrace it onto her chest gently as if it was priceless treasure; cherishing it within from her heart.

She gently closed her eyes letting out a relief sign as if she had fetched her lost soul back to her body.

After five minutes, Sizu appeared with two boxes filled with nutritious food with a grin "Ta-Da!!"

They both ate and then Melissa rested, as well sizu Dlept on the chair looking after her.

~At morning- 7: 13 A.M~

After having it, Melissa took a rest and was finally discharged from the hospital at early morning, both of them went straight to Melissa's apartment.

After they reach her apartment, Sizu suggested Melissa "Well, you're sick so... there is no need for you to go to the office. I have already taken a day off for you. So take rest for today, okay?"

Melissa glance at her in confusion "Day off? Why?"

"Of course, cause your sick." Sizu simply response to her question with a smile. She was happy that she finally spoke.

"I'm not sick. I'll go to work with you. I have tons of work to do." Melissa response while washing her face with cold water.

"You- You- You- work worm!! Sizu gave a heavy sigh "I knew it, your answer would be something like this. So that's why, I took a day off without telling you. Now, please listen to me and rest. Doctor had strictly suggested you to take a rest and yeah, I won't let you go for work today." She was strict to her word.

Melissa didn't gave any reaction to her as she clean her hand.

"Please, please, aren't we friends from high school. We have been friends for seven years and today you won't even listen to my one single request." Sizu began to blackmail her in the name of friendship.

Melissa had no choice but to stay at home.

Sizu gave a sign of relief "Okay, I have bought some medicine, be sure to take this in time okay?" She gave medicine to Melissa on her hand.

Melissa nodded her head and took the medicine.

Sizu hold Melissa's hand gently and gaze at her sadly "Melissa, Don't take those high dose medicine, okay? It will have a terrible side effect on your body, and I don't want that. As much as you can, try to avoid that medicine, yeah... of course it hurts a lot... but..."

Melissa lowered her head and withdraw her hand from her grab, staring at medicine "I will try."

Sizu smile feeling relief in her heart, hearing her response "I'm not saying, not to eat at all, eat but try to avoid its number okay? Try to take as little as possible. I'm sure, one day you won't need those medicine." She said with a smile gazing down at her.

Melissa lowered her head and didn't say anything for a moment staring at the medicine and finally opened her thin lips "There is no such day."

Sizu was speechless. She couldn't utter the word. Honestly, she couldn't find the word at the moment.

"Do you think, there will be ever such day when I won't need this medicine? Do you think," She stares right at Sizu's agony gaze "I have such rights to be okay, when I have committed a unforgivable sin in my life?"
