Chapter 10 MISSION – SAVE THE BEAUTY

Krystal was on her way home when she heard someone screaming but from the way the sound was coming out, it seemed like the person had been stuffed with something.

She was going to mind her own business and refrain from anything that could put her under the spotlight, so she ignored those screams and continued to walk.

She didn't even get far before she heard that emergency bell in her head. She closed her eyes and entered the mission hall only to find another emergency mission.

She had to save a beauty who had been taken by a group of delinquents. The reward this time was one crystal and an upgrade on the treasure map. This was a good mission to take.

Seeing the position of the beauty, she knew automatically where to find her. She followed those muffled sounds instead of the map since she wanted to check how far she could use her ability. This was like training and time for her to see whether she still have that fighting ability she had in her previous life.

She found the place finally and it was an abandoned building. She checked for five minutes at the place and after counting the men she was going to engage in a fight with.

Krystal visited the pharmacy and bought some sleeping powder that had popped out after the mission was issued. She spent ten silver pieces on it.

She approached the building and began to take the man one by one. She blew the powder into the building, by the time she will be done breaking these people's bones, they will be sleeping peacefully.

Watching those three men groaning in pain before she knocked them unconscious made her feel great. She really didn't want to return to this lifestyle but it seems like she had an affinity with it.

She walked into the building with her face half-covered as she didn't want anyone to recognize her. After taking a couple of flights, she discovered numerous bodies lying around and she tied them all up so tight that they would not sneak out anywhere.

By the time she reached the room where the beauty was locked in, she couldn't help but knit her brows. Why did she look so damn familiar? Wasn't that the girl she saw on the forum being the belle of Riverside High School?

She was truly a beautiful girl, she nodded in agreement. She tied the men with a tight rope and untied the belle. She didn't get hurt as much as she thought but looking at those tears on her cheeks, she couldn't help but feel pain for her.

Krystal looked around and found the belle's phone. After unlocking it using the belle's fingerprint, she made a call to the belle's family. She didn't want to get involved in a lot of things so when the belle's mother answered the call. She told her the address and the situation her daughter was in.

The family arrived in twenty minutes and when she saw how worried the woman was, she felt very sad. When the former Krystal committed suicide, no one knew about it and no one even cared.

The woman arrived with a very haggard-looking man who was supposed her husband seeing how she was behaving with him. The other young man was probably the brother, she was just making guesses.

"Thank you for calling us," the woman said sounding very grateful.

"It's okay, I didn't do anything. I simply made a call and since you are here then I will take my leave," Krystal said as she dusted her uniform.

"You are leaving already?" the woman asked worriedly.

"Yes, I have things to do and I am already late. Since your daughter is okay then I will take my leave," she didn't wait for the woman to say any more words before she left the crime scene.

She was not in the mood to be questioned by a worried family, she had already done her job and the rest was up to them. To be involved in some fights she had no interest in was not her cup of tea.

Krystal took a taxi back to the villa complex and when she arrived it was already around six in the evening. Aunt Grace was already gone but her food was in the fridge.

She went upstairs, removed her uniform, and threw it into the laundry basket. She washed up before putting on a black nightdress. She went downstairs, took her food from the fridge, and heated it in the microwave.

When the timer got off, she took her food to the sitting room and settled herself on the sofa. She switched on the T.V and began to watch the news. Like always, nothing that was to her interest was on the news. She enjoyed the shows that came after the news after that though.

After the eight o'clock news, she packed her satchel and went to the study for some night self-study session.

When she was done around eleven, she decided to check the mall since she had succeeded in finishing the mission. When she walked into the mission hall, she was all smiles when she saw the results.

Krystal was ecstatic because she had finally managed to collect the crystals needed to level up her mall to 2. It didn't seem to be much for those that may hear it but for her, it was a great deal. That was twenty million Edji dollars and it was a huge amount that someone of her age will not be able to gather in just a few weeks.

She looked at her rewards first with a bright smile, the treasure map had really leveled up and it was showing more tempting things that were urging her to leave Dielas once more. But she understood that being greedy will lead her to nowhere.

The map was hers and as long as she wants those treasures, she could get them as long as no one gets to them first.
