Chapter 4 Where Is He

****Kayla's POV****

"What is taking him so long? He said he had one errand to run." I thought to myself as I was making lunch. I decided to call him to see where he was at and it took him a minute to answer. "Hey babe, I'm just seeing where you're at. You said you wouldn't be long and it's been an hour." I said with some annoyance in my voice. "Yeah that took a little longer than expected but I'm on my way home now. I'll see you in less than 5 minutes." He said, seeming a little off. I put his plate of chicken and rice on the counter and waited. It wasn't long until he opened the door to the kitchen, walked over and kissed me on the forehead. I could smell Lily's scent immediately. "You were at Lily's? Why didn't you tell me that's where you were going?" I asked with an obvious hint of irritation in my voice. "I told you that I wanted to talk to her before the ceremony so nothing would be awkward." he responded, shoveling the food into his mouth. "Yeah but it would've been nice to know that's what you were doing today." I said, rolling my eyes hard. I took an audible breath in and asked him "Anyways, what did you guys talk about?" very pointedly. "I just told her that it would mean a lot to everyone if she were at the ceremony and that there were no hard feelings." Matt said as if it were no big deal. "And that's it?" I couldn't help the aggravation coming through in my voice. I hated Lily. I could never tell Matt that but I really did hate her. Matt was in love with her for years before me. If it weren't for me being his mate, he never would have even given me a second glance. Everyone thought that they were destined for each other until I came along. I know that his parents still prefer her over me and I think that's where most of my jealousy stems from. "Yeah that was pretty much it." he said as he was finishing his plate. He gave me a look that sent shivers down my spine. I knew what that look meant but I couldn't shake this feeling of jealousy and annoyance that Matt didn't tell me that he was going over there today. He said, "Let's go to the bedroom." and winked at me. I couldn't help but follow along to the room. He opened the door to the bedroom and picked me up while kissing me with a passionate force. His sweetness and passion was melting my anger away. "Mark me." I pleaded in a breathless whisper. Matt laughed quietly and said "Not yet my sweet, I told you, after my ceremony." I grunted in annoyance but that didn't last long as he slowly undressed me. He kissed me on every part of my exposed skin as the pieces of my clothes came off. I felt the hairs on my body rise into goosebumps while he took his time undressing me. He was a passionate lover and I loved it. The sensuality and the passion he brought to the bedroom made me wet with just a thought. Finally he got to my pants and my eyes rolled into the back of my head.
