Chapter 4 First argument

Kathy eventually fell asleep, when the morning came Kathy heard her dad calling her. "Katherine you're going to be late for school." Kathy quick sat up and look at the time. "I can't believe I was up all night thinking about Luke." This is the first time Kathy stayed a wake the whole night not studying.

"Katherine"!!! Said her dad "Sorry dad I can't eat breakfast I will be late." Her dad looked at her with a serious look. "Kathy what is going on with you? Since you came back from the café you're acting weird." He said. Kathy was thinking about Luke when her dad was talking to her. He instantly pulled her out of her thoughts. "Kathy please listen to me. School is first. You have a big feature ahead of you." He said.

Kathy's POV:

I was listening to my dad talk but at the same time I couldn't stop thinking about Luke. With out even noticing I sighed his name. I saw my dad's face changing. "What did you just call me? Katherine what have I told you about guys." He said with his arms crossed.

"Dad please I need my own space too I am focused in school but I need to go out with my friends. I need to get out of this house.I feel like I am suffocating." I said I saw his mad face. I have never seen him this mad. I have never told him anything about guys or that I am interested in one. "Katherine I don't want to see you close to any guys. Your school is first you need to study so you will become a business woman." He said.

Dad always wanted me to study business and run the family company.

I never wanted to study business but this is what he wanted me to do. Carlie always tells me to speak up and let him know. Luke told me that I should have everything I wish for. So today was the day.

I took a deep breath. "Daddy I need to tell you something. He raise his eyebrow looking at me. I don't want to study business. I want to be a model just like mom." I told him what I have been holding for so many years. "Katherine don't even think about it! I will never let you ruin your life like that. You listen to me I am your father and I know what is best for you." He said with a serious face.

I wanted to burst out I know dad doesn't want me to model because my mom was one and left us for a rich man. So I raised my voice "Dad not because mom left you means I will leave too! I love you, you have been a father and mother but this is what makes me happy"! I said.

I saw his face and wanted to run. "Katherine watch the way you are speaking to me. I am your father and I know what is best for you"! "No you don't know what is best for me. You want what is best for you!" I said bursting into tears.

I saw my dad's had go across my face. SLAPPP!!! "How dare you hit me! Don't do it again! This is why my mother left you! You always wanted her to stay home!" I felt another slap. I fell to the ground and I felt my face getting red and I rubbed it. I got up and left the house running trying to get away from him. I saw him though the window. He looked at his hand and slammed it on the wall."

My dad had never lay a finger on me. I know it hurt him but I couldn't stand the idea of him hitting me. I left to school with my red cheek thinking of everything I told him, but as I was walking down the street I didn't see where I was going I just heard a car wheels stop with force.

There was a young man coming from car.
