Chapter 9 Since She Doesn't Want To Live Her Life

Hearing this, Taylor just blinked, her eyes pure and clean.

"Uncle and aunt are gone. As your cousin, I will treat you like my own sister." Abby smiled and flicked her forehead, "What are you doing for a living? Where do you live? It's not safe outside. Why don't you move back home earlier?"

"She will be unsafe if she lives with your family of jackals!" Olivia muttered in a smaller voice, irony flashing in her eyes.

"Um, thank you, cousin. I am now working as an assistant in a newly established studio. And I have paid a year's rent for the rented house, so I won't move back temporarily." Taylor waved her hand.

"But if you live outside alone, Mom and Dad won't be relieved! The rent means nothing. Just forget it."

"It's okay. The rented house is close to my company, and it is very convenient for me to go to work." Taylor continued to smirk, shook her head, and refused.

"You are still stubborn like before." Abby sighed in distress, "Since you insist, I won't continue to extort you. Give me your current phone number then. I'll call you to have dinner at home if my parents are available. They have not seen you for so many years and miss you very much."

"Okay." Taylor chuckled and told her phone number to Abby.

"Got it. I'll send you a message later so that you can save my phone number. Call me if anything." Abby poked on the screen for a few seconds and then raised her hand to look at the watch, "By the way, I made an appointment with your brother-in-law for lunch. Would you like to join us?"

"Brother-in-law? Cousin, are you married?" Taylor's eyes lit up.

"It won't take long. Our families are already discussing the wedding date." Abby suddenly thought of something and smiled sweetly, "He is too busy, but he doesn't want to leave all the wedding things to our families. He wanted to be part of it, so we could only take it slow. We traveled abroad the other day, and that was even arranged after his business trip and work."

Her voice and expression were full of happiness and joy, but her eyes were staring straight at Taylor as if she was trying to sound her out.

The entertainment headlines these days were all news about her and Daniel traveling together in Paris happily. As long as people who had not been isolated from the world, they should have seen it.

"Congratulations, Abby." Taylor tilted her head and smiled sincerely, "Since it's your dating, I should not bother you."

"Alright, your brother-in-law doesn't like eating with strangers as well." Intentionally or unconsciously, Abby added the word "stranger" and increased her tone secretly, "Then let's have a rain check later."

"Okay, goodbye." Taylor nodded and watched her leave with a gentle smile.

"Bah, discussing the date of the wedding?! Isn't she afraid of being beaten when talking so big?!" Olivia looked at Abbey's back and rolled her eyes, regardless of her image.

When she turned her head, she saw Taylor's clear gaze and was stunned, "Taylor?"

"I also think she was lying." The temperature in Taylor's eyes dropped a little bit, "Because what she said was sweet and there was tenderness in her eyes, but her hands at her sides were clenching as fists, showing that she wasn't relaxed."

"It's great, Taylor. Fortunately, your intelligence didn't disappear with your memory." Olivia held her shoulders happily, "Are you busy now? If you are not busy, we have so much to catch up. If you are busy, well, let's catch up briefly."

"Of course not." Taylor blinked at her.

Before turning to leave with Olivia, Taylor turned her head and glanced at the direction Abby left. The smile on her lips froze slightly.

When Abby walked away, the expression on her face instantly faded, her lips tightened, and her eyes full of hatred and fierceness.

Until she walked out of the TV station building, she took out her phone and made a call, "Do you know Taylor is back?"

After the one said something on the phone, the corners of her lips curled up with a sneer, "Since she doesn't want to live her life abroad, then don't blame us for fighting back. Who does she have to go back home and dirty our eyes?"

Back to the studio, Simon and Taylor heard loud noises in the office area when they just walked out of the elevator.

"Don't you have ears? I said that Taylor Wood should be responsible for this design. Who the hell did you send me! Tell your Boss to come here. If he doesn't want to do business, just get out of the industry! Do you know who I am? If I'm not happy, I'll make you feel the same! Isn't it just because of money? I have a lot of that! Let alone Taylor Wood, it is not difficult for me to buy all the women in your company to serve me in bed at the same time!"

Hearing the rude tone talking unbearable things, Simon became cold immediately. He was about to rush forward as he slapped his sleeves.

"Simon." Taylor stretched out her hand and grabbed him, "It's Wence Johnson. Can you deal with him for me? I'll go eat first."

"Okay, you go quickly. After I beat him away, I will call you. Remember to order me a boiled beef." When Simon heard this, his expression became colder, and his sleeves were rolled higher as if he was going to have a big fight.

"Out of the question. It's on me." Taylor reached out and gestured him okay, preparing to quietly return to the elevator.

Unfortunately, after she took two steps back, Wence's gaze swept over. A big smile suddenly appeared on his face, and he strode over, "Taylor."

"... Mr. Johnson." Taylor's mouth twitched, putting on a polite smile.

What a big trouble that couldn't even be shaken away!

"Where are you heading for? Do you know that I signed an order with your studio?" Wence looked straight at her as if he wanted to see her through with his eyes.

"Why do you come here in person, Mr. Johnson? Did our designer serve you wrongly?" Simon took a look, and quickly stepped forward, blocking Taylor, "Assistant Wood has been busy with the work with the TV station recently, so she doesn't know much about the studio's orders."

"President Kint." When Wence's sight was blocked, his eyes were filled with dissatisfaction, but he gathered himself for a moment and greeted him, "I didn't expect President Kint to be so young. Indeed, your young generation is pushing the world forward."

The beauty was in front, but since they were both in the business circle, and he didn't even know Simon's background, the most basic etiquette was still very necessary.

"You flattered me. Mr. Johnson, you are the one who is really outstanding." Simon put on a foxy smile, feeling that he was going to be disgusted by his own words.

"Thank you for such a compliment." Wence accepted such a remark as if he thought he was indeed outstanding.

Turning left, he fixed his gaze on Taylor's face again, "So, do I, an outstanding businessman, have the honor to invite Assistant Wood to have dinner with me?"

Simon was astonished.

"Hey, man! I just said that out of politeness. Didn't you hear the irony in my words?" Simon said to himself.

The rest of the staff who watched them were in chaos!
